We sat outside as it was a really nice day and soon it will be too hot to sit outside around here. Ordered some adult beverages and a bottle of wine. For food I got the Grille Cheeseburger. Great flavors and was plenty for lunch. Fries were just ok. Deb grabbed the ahi tacos. Pretty tasty and were fresh. Service was awesome. Lots of great recommendations and very friendly. Love this place! Food: ordered the short rib with polenta. The meat just fell apart - and the sauce with the polenta was a great compliment - so delicious!! Went to Del Frisco's for my brother's birthday and overall had a good experience. They gave us a nice private room with a TV, which was perfect since we were able to watch football during dinner. While we were waiting for the room to be ready, we hung out in the bar area, which is really nice and also had the games on. It was a very busy night...lots of birthday dinners and large parties and parking was honestly the worst part of the experience. Even valet seemed overwhelmed and short on space. Given the location, the parking setup just isn't great, especially on a busy night. Service was okay. Our server mentioned he was tired, but he still got the job done, so no major complaints there. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The espresso martini was delicious and not too creamy, which I loved. Most of us ordered the filet, and mine was cooked perfectly. I added the garlic butter sauce on top, which gave it great flavor. I also had the Brussel sprouts with bacon they were prepared differently than usual (glazed, not green), and while I wasn't sure how I felt at first, I still ate them and enjoyed the meal overall. The atmosphere is nicer which makes this great for dates and special occasions but still can be a casual evening spot to have a great meals with friends. My daughter and I had a Christmas dinner date night. We had a reservation for 3pm which was a perfect time to get there. The restaurant was not as busy as I thought it would be. But as we were leaving around 530pm it was a wait. So about our experience, it was amazing and both me and my daughter had a great visit here. She had a passion star martini and I had a mistletoe martini and they were both very strong so my daughter finished both of them. And we ordered the crab cake to share and it's one of the best I've had south of Baltimore. My daughter ordered the braised short ribs and she loved it. She said it was tender and juicy. I had the prime ribeye and it was delicious and very juicy. The entire staff from the valet, hostess, wait staff and the management were all exceptional. The management team was very thorough and very attentive to our needs which was a nice touch. This is my first time visiting this establishment and I was so impressed I will definitely return. We had an ok experience, but not worth a return visit. I would have preferred to give it a 3.5 rating if I could. The most disappointing part was our $56 ribeye. It was tough and lacked flavor. I thought they might have put it in the oven at some point, because I couldn't figure out how else a ribeye would be so dry and tough. Or it's possible it was so tough because it was frozen at some point. We ordered rare and I would say it came out close to rare. Now I'm wondering if maybe it was a NY strip and not a ribeye. We agreed that the steaks we get at Costco are superior than what we were served. My beef short ribs were pretty good though. Polenta was a nice consistency and seasoned well. My boyfriend and I made reservations for 7 pm for a Christmas dinner, due to how busy it was, we weren't seated till 7:30. They offered to allow us to go upstairs and sit at the bar while we waited but the bar seats were all full so we came downstairs to sit down. I got a text message saying our table was ready, but when we approached the front desk, it wasn't and apparently no one was sending texts that tables were ready. We were seated and we ordered a truffle Mac and cheese, one rib eye steak, 1 ceaser salad, and 2 glasses of wine. Originally, we ordered bone in rib eye, but they ran out (which happens but weird for a steak house?). They offered a regular rib eye for 16 oz and it took 45 mins for us to get our food (they told us 15-20 mins). I don't think the ribeye was 16 oz and it was also lukewarm. The Mac and cheese also came out with the steak and it was really good, but the portion was really small, which was a little sad. I was comparing my experience to Del Frisco's in New York, so I expected a lot more. We watched a large table leave because they weren't served for such a long time. We also watched a table seated 20 mins after us receive their food first and generally, it seemed that no one was happy with their experience. We even had to ask for water refills at one point (but that waiter booked it, and it was the fastest service we received all night). The red velvet cheesecake was good, but I don't think i would call it a cheesecake. It's just a red velvet cake with A LOT of cream cheese icing. The staff was friendly and I honestly felt bad for them. They did their best with was happening and my boyfriend and I didn't want to cause them more hassle than they were already experiencing. I don't know if it's management or the kitchen or overbooking on Christmas but something does need to be fixed. read more

The fries were very tasty and the pasta was very light! I wish they offered the option to add a protein (for an up charge) This would have been the icing on the cake! We started out with some happy hour apps the first one being the Cheesesteak Eggrolls these were pretty good but kind of small being that it's just 2 egg rolls cut in half. Probably only worth getting at the happy hour price which was $10 as opposed to $19. We also got the Ahi Tuna Tacos and to be honest I probably wouldn't order these from here again. Got there early at like 3:30 and it was a ghost town. I sat at the bar and got deviled eggs that were to die for! The bartender was amazing and whipped up a strawberry rose' Paloma. It was refreshing and delicious. Five stars! Next I got the bone in Ribeye med rare for $85. It was so good, with a lil char on the edges. Mouth watering and so juicy. The tender bites went down so easy I almost did not have to chew. The side was truffle mac n cheese. It was creamy and so good! The portion was good enough for me to enjoy well after the meat was gone. She wrapped up the bone in tin foil as i had limited storage space. I had a great meal, fast and delicious. Great place to grab a lunch on a weekday. We came here before my son's Meet the Teacher. There were a lot of people in business outfits suggesting that this is a good place to have lunch out of the office. I can see why, the service and food was speedy, we were in and out in under an hour. I got the French Onion Soup and a Burrata salad. The French Onion Soup was really good, my only knock against it was the onions were a little too hard. They would have been better if they were softer. It was piping hot and the cheese was delicious. The burrata was also amazing. It was one giant burrata surrounded by tomatoes. The tomatoes tasted fresh and it was a great flavor combination. Eating both of them, I was stuffed. I probably could have gone with just the burrata. My son got the kids meal of chicken tenders with fries. He wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders, but he is very hit or miss. My husband got the Nashville chicken sandwich with fries and said it was good. Our server was really friendly and efficient. I felt like he checked on us the perfect amount of times. Yum! I came here for dinner on a whim. My server was so sweet and attentive. My friend and I split a caesar salad and the rigatoni bolognese, and the server was nice enough to have the kitchen split it for us onto 2 different plates! They had an extensive wine list as well as other drinks. We walked right in on a Saturday night and got a table immediately. Anniversary Dinner was a success! I am so glad I picked Del Friscos. My husband had never been so this was great. Even with the heavy rain and nasty weather we made it. We started things with a drink. He had the VIP and I had the Sangria Rosa. OMG.... Amazing. I ended up having 2. Our starter was the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They are so good. I mean really good. I'm trying hard not to be harsh in this review, but I actually regret eating here and that says a lot. Service was good. Drinks were fine. The food was a big disappointment for me. Other reviews are accurate the sides are good, but the mains were a miss. The truffle mac and cheese was good, I'm not a fan of cavatappi but it was still probably the best thing we ordered, and the French onion soup was also very good. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was one tiny crab cake for over 20$. Worse, it was undercooked in the middle, but charred on the outside. The salmon we ordered was also very undercooked. The ribeye steak was the big disappointment. Chewy, seasoning was mostly just pepper and not seared. It tasted like a sirloin you get at Applebees or Outback but cost twice as much. Overall this was a big disappointment for me. With so many other restaurants in the area, it's a pass for me. read more

I haven't been to a Del Frisco's in a long time. Coming in from out of town I wanted to try it again. The restaurant was clean, we were greeted immediately with a smile from the hostess. We decided to sit at the bar and catch a bit of the Knicks game. We met Matt E. and another Matt behind the bar. They were hustling, having fun, and making the bar experience a great one. We got many recommendations for some amazing apps and they didn't disappoint. The service was great. Our drinks and water were full the entire time. We didn't have to ask for anything or grab their attention, they were on point. Matt E. highly recommended the Cheesesteak egg rolls and they seriously awesome. I told him I think I could eat 50 of these! Only did one order this time but I'd be back for more. The next item we got was the fried cheese curds. I don't see these on too many menus and most of the time they don't do them right. These were phenomenal and the dipping sauce that accompanied it was spot on. The last item we got was the flatbread fig and prosciutto (which was crispy) and that was sweet, salty and soft yet crispy on the edges of the flatbread. Overall every dish was great. I know they are known for the steak which I will get when I return but everything we got app wise was awesome. I would come back just to sit at the bar from the great service from Matt and the crew. Upon arrival, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated and were informed we would need to sit outside, despite walking past two empty booths inside. We asked twice for the outdoor heaters to be turned on, and it was later discovered much to the manager's surprise that the heater above our table was not working. For our anniversary celebration, we chose to dine at Del Frisco the other night for the convenience of it being down the road and yet to be tried by us. Upon entering the restaurant, we waited for a host to come back to there stand after few minutes passed then we're seated. As we swiftly perused the menu before us, it became immediately apparent that there were no beverage options listed, prompting us to rise from our seats and venture forth to obtain the drink menu on our own accord. even with that little hiccup, it's still took 10 minutes for our server to great us, throughout that night, we had a different person come to our table every time which was a little confusing because we didn't know who to call down for our check which we waited 20 minutes for and still went up ourselves later to get it anyways. our main server i forgot her name unfortunately because 4 different people come to our table that night, but she has mole on her lip and bad attitude every time she came over and never smiled; but the other people who helped us that night was very nice. overall, service was OK. Food was good. Brussels sprouts flavor was great extremely oily though and burnt. Along with the pork chop lacking in flavor it was a good cut and cooked well, but nothing to write home about. The chickpea an kale that came with the pork chop, tasted as though it was already going sour and old. I will have to say the thai meatball was my favorite. It was rich and flavor and delicious, cream spinach was a bit more creamed than I've ever tried at a restaurant, but was still great. All eat tacos. It was good not the best quality fish, but we still enjoyed. I also got the hazelnut espresso martini which I didn't taste any hazelnut, but it was OK not very good but I still drank it. We had the cheese curds that were a large serving and really good. Most had the cheeseburger and loved it, cooked to perfection, also the fish and chips, crispy batter but did not overwhelm the fish. The only reason not a five, the sides were meh. The loaded potato was cold inside, the cheese didn't melt. The fries were whimpy. The French onion soup had too much bread not enough soup. The flatbread was worse than from a grocery store, half chicken had zero seasoning and dry. My man's steak was overcooked and flavorless too. The ambience was nice-casual, with most people wearing slacks but the odd shorts and pair of jeans scattered about. our server was great and came around promptly without being too "hovery". My steak salad came with a small piece of meat which was served a little cooler than I would have liked. My biggest issue was actually the seasoning; the steak was incredibly salty. The rest of the salad was ok, no complaints; plenty of bacon, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, and deviled eggs. My wife's mushroom flatbread was dry and on the more bland side. All in all, we had an ok experience. The service and ambience were great, and we were happy with our appetizer.
