I recently went to Cru Cellars for dinner, here is what I thought. Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere of Cru Cellars, you have to walk through the wines they're selling to access the restaurant. The seating area is small, but quaint. They have a lovely outdoor seating area thats wonderful to enjoy in nice weather. Restrooms: They had two single bathrooms. The bathroom was nice and clean. Service: Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and circled back whenever we needed anything! The food came out quick! Food: The food was so good. We loved everything we ordered. We did family style and ordered a few appetizers, a flat bread, and charcuterie board to share. We tried their 'Brussel Sprouts' which were amazing, I could eat those days. We also tried their 'Truffle Fries' also so good, I loved the dipping sauces it came with. We tried their 'Mushroom Flatbread' which was delicious. We did their five option charcuterie board, which was the perfect sharing amount for four people. The bread it came with was freshly made, it was nice and fluffy. We loved their wine flight selections, all the wines were so good! You got three wines for $24! We will definitely be back! Instagram: @living.with.reg

My overall experience at Cru Cellars- Palma Ceia was pleasant. It had a very elegant yet cozy feel to it. The lighting was perfect for those going on a date with their significant other. The server I had was very nice and she came around frequently to make sure I was enjoying myself. I had the Cru Burger and it was very juicy, flavorful, and the aged cheese topped it off. I had moscato as choice of wine and it was sweet and crisp how I like it. I would definitely return.

I enjoyed my time at Cru Cellars! I had my book club here and everyone had a great time, especially with great service and food. I'm not sure why it took me this long to try it! They do have happy hour Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. I'll definitely come back! What I ordered: - Burrata & Tomato: balsamic glaze & basil - Truffle Fries with truffle aioli - Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread: house fig jam, prosciutto, cambozola blue, pickled onion, arugula balsamic - Fall Roasted Salad: arcadia mix, roasted butternut squash, charred broccolini, baby heirloom carrots, tomatoes, red onion, chevre, pepitas, maple mustard vinaigrette

Cru Cellars in Palma Ceia is a great spot for my book club's monthly meetings! We love catching up over happy hour while discussing our latest read. The staff is always accommodating, making sure our large table is ready upon arrival, which is much appreciated. While the service can vary--some nights are more attentive than others--we consistently enjoy our experience here. I usually go for the hummus plate, which is fresh, delicious, and the perfect light bite for a book club gathering. I've tried eating vegan here and there is little more than a salad that fits the bill, but they have several vegetarian selections. The ambiance is cozy, and the space is generally clean and inviting. Depending on the night, the atmosphere ranges from lively (with groups of friends and colleagues) to quiet and relaxed. A heads-up: the parking lot is small and fills up quickly when it's busy. Overall, Cru Cellars is a lovely local spot to unwind with good conversation and tasty bites. I'm not a wine drinker, but they have a wine club that some of the book club members really enjoy.

Cru Cellars is always a favorite. I love the wine store and restaurant combo, it's the best of both worlds. They have one of my favorite rosés on tap, the Txakolina, with perfect hints of strawberry and jalapeño, and I always grab a bottle to go from the shop. The food is just as good as the wine, with brussels sprouts that might be the best in Tampa and burrata that's always a must-order. The bar is fun to sit at and all around the vibes are super chill. The burger looked amazing too, definitely next on my list.

We visited Cru Cellars for a quick happy hour drink, and a snack before meeting some friends out for dinner one night. I ended up getting a non-happy hour Bordeaux, which was amazing and my husband got a beer. We also ordered this delicious Peri Peri cauliflower! We were short on time and let them know, they got us our food quickly our drinks quickly and our bill quickly, and we were in and out in time to meet our friends.

I can't stop coming back to this place. After asking for a couple of wines they had sold out of, the bartender was able to guide us to even better options. This particular night they also had a DJ which made the atmosphere even better on a Friday night. Now for the food, I've never gotten an actual entree, but based on the appetizers alone, everything has been an 11/10. This has to be the best place to get charcuterie in Tampa.

I stopped by Cru Cellars for dinner the other night. With only a few minutes of happy hour left, we decided to order all four of the food options from the happy hour menu which are half-off. The server was so nice and got our order in quickly so we didn't miss the happy hour deal. All of the servers were very nice and relaxed which was wonderful after a busy day at work. It was also really cute to see so many friends getting together at Cru Cellars for a wine night. My two favorite dishes were the Peri Peri Cauliflower and the Loaded Hummus. Oh my goodness--the peri peri cauliflower was perfectly fried and it was delicious with the cambozola cream. The loaded hummus was packed with tomato, pickled onion, and olives. The pita bread was perfect and I simply couldn't get enough. The burrata and tomato dish was very fresh which I appreciated. I loved the fresh basil and balsamic glaze. The truffle fries were actually really disappointing. They didn't taste like truffle at all and neither did the aioli. We also got the rustic lamb ragu which featured braised lamb shank, stewed tomato, and a whipped herbed ricotta. Will definitely be back for more hummus and cauliflower, among other dishes here!

We went back (again) for a girls night and we this time tried the peri peri cauliflower which was so divine! It is on the happy hour menu for half off apps so be sure to try it: it is a mildly spicy (not too hot, more flavor packed) and lightly fried cauliflower with a bleu cheese dressing dipping sauce. A very nice portion as well! The truffle fries always are amazing, no notes there!

One of my favorite spots for happy hour! From 3-6pm on weekdays they have half off a few appetizers, $7 house red or white, or buy a bottle get a chef's cheeseboard. I always have excellent service here, and it was a great, cozy and trendy spot for a wine night with my girlfriends.

Visited Cru Cellars on a Wednesday evening and to my surprise this cute wine bar/restaurant was hosting a holiday wine tasting. I didn't participate in the wine tasting as I was only going there for dinner but I will definitely be checking out the events page to see when the next one is! Came for a bite to eat and this place was the perfect spot. We ordered two appetizers and shared. Both were excellent! The server recommended the nachos which were amazing, every bite was full of flavor! We also ordered the Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread and if you like sweet & savory dishes, this is a must try! Fast service even with an event going on and fabulous food!

My ideal wine bar. Cute intimate bar area with some outdoor seating options as well. Great happy hour hidden in south Tampa - $10 glass of their wine of the day with half off some apps. The wine of the day we tried was the Alma negra brut rose -- 10/10, I LOVED it. We also tried the loaded hummus app. The addition of the roasted tomatoes and crispy chickpeas was perfection, especially paired with their fried pita chips. Service at the bar was speedy and friendly. May be giving this place 5 starts when I eventually come back for a whole dinner meal!

Cru Cellars is a true hidden gem in Tampa. Easy parking, great ambience, and an amazing wine list with staff who know exactly how to point you in the right direction. The food is next level--the salad is the best I've had anywhere, the Peri Peri Cauliflower is packed with flavor, and the loaded hummus is a must-order. On top of all that, their happy hour is solid and makes it even better. Between the cozy vibe, friendly service, and standout dishes, Cru is definitely one of my favorite spots.

We aren't big wine drinks - but they are known for their gluten free options. We ordered our entrees and about 20 minutes into it the manager Eric came and introduced himself. He apologized for the delay in our food arriving - we hadn't even noticed - and shared it was being plated as we spoke. Two minutes later he delivered it to our table. The second round of drinks too too long and he again delivered the drinks w another apology. Jim was attentive and professional. The short rib risotto was just plain amazing as were all the other items delivered. I had the risotto so I can rave about that. The experience was great and what made it great for us was the attention paid to us by the manager and the server. We never felt forgotten. We highly recommend. We had ordered two appetizers to share , and were finishing when she came over. We were on the outside patio , our Chihuahuas were contained in their carriers, and the only time one of them barked was when the waiter came by. We were there early at 11:30. For 15 minutes we were the only ones out there , then this elderly couple came and when they walked by us the elderly woman gave us a dirty look. Five minutes later another couple sat but further away from us. That woman seemed to be the only one with a problem. I should have asked the manager that if someone had complained about a screaming child( which usually is constant) would they have been asked to leave? I really like the food , and the service but we are contemplating whether to go there again because frankly we felt insulted! We only brought the dogs to begin with because my daughter is going on a trip and she is leaving the dogs with us. So we were exchanging them, and thought we would have lunch. The manager and the elderly couple ruined the experience for us. The manager told us that pets were not permitted but I checked in two different places , and pets are permitted on their patio. I feel they should either change their policy , or inform the manager as to what the policy is because she told us that pets were not allowed! Next time we will meet somewhere in St. Petersburg because that city is very pet friendly!

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. If you're just looking for a great place to enjoy wine, this might be worth a visit. But if you're hoping for a full dining experience, I'd say skip the food and go elsewhere.

Korean owned and operated, the owners also own a few of these amazing food pairing wine bars in Korea, and the chef has also lived and culinary trained in France. They have their hand on the pulse of what is popular in Korea as well as the US. We are so lucky to have this establishment! You won't find anywhere else like this in Tampa Bay. I'll start with the good stuff. The space inside Bouzy's front dining area and bar is gorgeous. It's not large, but it has very high ceilings, which add to the sense of space, and the modern decor, especially the bubble-inspired lighting, all add up to a bright and vibrant atmosphere. I can easily imagine it looks even more polished and stylish at night. Also, our food was excellent. We got the Florentine Benedict and the Shrimp & Grits -- both were beautifully plated and delicious. Also, if you're feeling snacky before brunch, try the Marinated Olives. It's easily a snack for two -- we even ended up taking some home! I did mention a few minor hiccups at the start. The bottle of Cava Reserva we ordered was not kept chilled, so we had to wait a little for it to come out and we did worry for a moment that we wouldn't get it before our entrees arrived. Also, our server, while very friendly and sweet, was a little uneven in terms of how often she came over to check on us. At the start, she seemed a little scattered, but later on she found her groove and came over to us more often to see what we needed. As I said, minor hiccups, and certainly nothing that would discourage us from another visit the next time we cross the bay and visit Hyde Park.
