Yessica did a lash lift for me. It was a really great experience. She listened to my primary concern where the last couple of times I did a lash lift (not Deka Lash), there were no regard to my lashes crossing each other. She paid extra attention to ensure this didn't happen. She also asked if I prefer to have my lashes curled more (so the lashes will touch or reach more towards my eyelid) or less (more natural look). Sarah was so great, that I created a Yelp account just to cheerlead her skills. I came in for a full set of extensions, and the time flew by because she was so engaging. We had such an interesting conversation, and the setting was extremely relaxing (beyond the good company, the chair was ergonomic). Then my card has an issue, and Sarah was super nice and understanding ( even though I held her up with her next client). I had to pop over to the ATM and come back because my bank card chip was scratched. Again, she was super helpful and I didn't feel bad or judged (these mishaps happen). I also added some mascara to my lashes. Its not typical mascara (I was expecting thick black mud style), but it's clear. It does basically the same thing. Overall I'm very happy with the lashes and recommend sitting down in Sarah's chair anytime. read more

I was nervous to try a new lash studio but was in a bind. I thought I was settling but little did I know, it was an upgrade! Alicia was so kind and attentive. I started getting eyelash extensions about a year ago and the ONLY person I trust with them is Andie. I followed her from her last shop to Deka Lash. Not only is her work top quality but the customer service she gives is phenomenal. She is not only an expert, but loves and takes pride in her craft. I tried one tech in between her and ended up back in Andie's chair to fix it! She recently talked me into giving up the extensions and trying a lash lift and I AM SO GLAD SHE DID! It totally made me appreciate my naturally long eyelashes and helps me avoid damaging them with a curler. Andie is for sure stuck with me for life. Went in for eyebrow lamination, I ended up working with Sarah. She did a horrible job, I was mortified. She also had a attitude when I told i didn't like them and argued with me that i told her to do it that way. I would not recommend her. Luckily V was nearby and helped fix the issue. I had gone in for the first time for a full set of classic lashes, as I was to embark on a trip thereafter. The session itself was fine, although I was placed in the station behind the front desk. Not much privacy I thought, but no big deal. My first impression right after the session was "yay! I have natural-looking long lashes!". MY OCD told me though, they seemed uneven, left eye had more extensions than the right. I shrugged it off, chalking it to being my first time. The real problem for me was during my trip, where I barely used make up and followed the care instructions. Despite my compliance, the lashes on my right eye started falling off a few days after my session, one after another, so much so that barely a week went by and all I had on my right eye was only 1/3 of the extensions. Not even a week!!! I was told the extensions would last at least two weeks. They were all depleted before two weeks even came up. I informed them of my dissatisfaction. I was told they'd call me to discuss. After several attempts to connect, they just never followed up. read more

This place has been sending me email after email after email since it has opened with offers to try to get me to come in. Finally there was a $30 deal to be a model for a new employee. I took it. Woke up early to drop my car off at the auto shop and asked a friend to drop me off to my appointment. Arrived 30 min early because it's my first time so I wanted to give myself time to choose what I wanted done... sat for 20 min in the lobby with nobody coming to greet me. Finally receptionist walked out of the bathroom. She then told me my appointment was cancelled the night before because the girl I was scheduled with no longer works there and they supposedly sent me a text to tell me. (I assure you they did not, I would not have wasted my time rushing there) the girl was not apologetic at all about it nor did she try to come up with a solution to help me reschedule or anything. Just very matter of factly said "your appointment was cancelled" and that is all. It's no wonder they are so desperate for clients, with their customer service it's a wonder how they have any at all. Will NOT be rescheduling and ask that they kindly take me off of their emails list and stop begging me to come in. Update: in response to the owner. It was not the situation that upset me, it was the way your receptionist handled it. She was rude and did not even try to help me at ALL. If she had been accommodating and understanding, I would have been just as understanding. But she was NOT. I understand things happen with appointments, I work at a hospital. But I also know we never treat patients the way you treat your clients. Reception is the greeting face that represents your whole company. Based on the way I was treated by your receptionist, I would not want to work with the rest of your staff. Completely unprofessional. ALSO. That phone call would have been nice PRIOR to my appointment being cancelled and not AFTER I wrote this Yelp review. read more

I was looking for a place that does brow lamination and stumbled upon Deka Lash. I had a bunch of questions and the owner responded super quickly and got me in for an appointment right away. I ended up getting a lash lift and brow lamination and got booked with Mimi. So glad I was paired up with her! She was super sweet and walked me through the whole process. She was super gentle when cleaning my lashes and brows to get them laminated and permed. I was worried my eyes would get irritated but that didn't happen at all. She made sure to always check on me to make sure I'm okay but not overly bother me either so I can relax. I was super happy with the turn out of my brows and lashes. I ended up opting out for the tint since my lashes and brows are pretty dark already. Each one of my lashes were curled perfectly. I've had lash lifts before and sometimes my ends wouldn't curl for some reason but Mimi got the job done. My brows were bushy and up. I like that natural look. Mimi even cleaned them up by waxing them. I really appreciate the service Mimi provided. Super friendly and she did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend booking with her if you can. This was my first-time doing lashing. Thereby, I did a patch test that went well and I decided to get the lash done - True eXpress one. But that seems to be a bad decision. The quality of the lash was poor that it started falling down after 24 hours. Would not recommend the True eXpress. Not sure about the other types of lashing. read more
