I love everything about this store. Bonnie the owner has a keen eye for great consignments. You can pick up some great items for a fair price. But like with all consignment shops you have to stop in regularly as they are always getting new items in. All of the staff is friendly and the store is always organized. I would not recommend consigning your items here. I sold a few items and reached out to pick up my check in March. I was told my name would be added to a list in April and I would be emailed when my check is ready for pick up. It is now August, and I have followed up multiple times, but have yet to receive my check. read more

I absolutely loved stumbling upon this store when I was visiting family in Point Pleasant. Store had a great selection and was super cute. I believe the lady that helped me it was the owner, and she was incredibly sweet. I ended up walking out with three bags, one for a friend and two for myself. I felt they were priced very fairly, for used luxury bags they were in fantastic condition. i'm hopeful to visit again the next time I am in the area. read more

The store is beautifully decorated and the clothes are easy to "work" through. The clothes and accessories are top quality with great style and the owner is warm, friendly and welcoming. This is not always the case with the consignment stores in the Monmouth County area. A definite gem of a store! read more

Happy with this store for the most part. Pretty good selection of higher end items. I love grabbing a deal after a price has gone down. Staff is very friendly. The only thing I would say I *don't* like, is that often the designer products like boots, purses, and wallets are priced MUCH TOO HIGH and are at MUCH higher price than you can buy elsewhere on the internet. read more

I love this store! In the last 2 years, 90% of my clothes have been from consignment or designer resale or as my father--averse to leftovers of any kind as they are to him "used food"--would say, "used clothes." But designer resale is the way to go if you have to think about what you spend and don't just waltz into Neiman or Bergdorf with your (or your husband's) card and play. I have been twice, once in October and once in December. This trip I bought a beautiful burgundy gown with high slit and drop back--floor length--for just 49, originally 249 and quite reasonable at that. In October, I bought my first pair of nice boots--Michael Kors, 5 inches, butter leather--for 119 when they retail for 400 or so. Caveat: There is a reason a Jersey matron relinquished these beauties; they are the single most uncomfortable pair of heels I have ever worn in my life and I bought on sale a pair of Paris Hilton patent leather pumps this summer in Manhattan for just 88 which are surprisingly comfortable. A high heel or boot need not be agonizing but these are. Still I wear them happily and simply try to avoid walking or the subway in the city and just valet park in LA or SB so time on my feet is limited to bathroom breaks at a bar or restaurant. Also, like the Kardashian perfume through Sephora, a present a few years ago which I still have and wear on occasion, I am quite sure Hilton had very little to do with the shoe but I wear them with great pleasure. In October, the 5 dollar rack was great: I bought an Ann Taylor silk twinset in lavender, an XS so it's snug but lovely. I also bought a nice red lace shell for under a blazer which went over this ballerina like dress, short skirt in black with a ballet-slipper bodice which I wore to see Ben Vereen at the Broad Stage and a pair of vintage YSL ankle-straps in cloth reminiscent of pointe shoes. My friend and her daughter live in Toms River and I will always hit this store when I'm visiting her. The owner is really sweet and she has a terrific eye. She sells bags, coats, shoes, dresses, and various accessories. I bought my friend's daughter what looked like a cigarette case in sterling with a vintage picture of a woman in a hat on the front but was actually a business card case plus computer. She loved it! Just 13 dollars brought this little girl a lot of pleasure and in October, I found a small wallet/luggage tag/change purse in black leather with a red heart for about 8 dollars. Right now, the owner is selling a shearling coat for 700 which must have been many thousands and it's not at all hard to find cute dresses in the 25 to 45 range. read more

The cliches one could use abound, "Look like a million for pennies", "Champagne taste, but a beer budget", etc. While true, they do not do justice to the quality, selection and prices at Deja Vu. Truly a boutique consignment shop, they sell only the best designer merchandise, at a fraction of the retail price. Only very gently used and new items are offered, and only of the highest quality. The designers are too plentiful to list, but include Coach, Dooney and Bourke, Steve Madden, Michael Kors, and many more. The consignors surely have excellent taste, and have cared well for their items before consigning! Sales, tiered pricing, more than fair consignor policies, and a wonderfully helpful staff are just some of the advantages of shopping there. I have debated on writing a review, as I don't want the shopping competition! Then again, I'm hoping it brings in more amazing merchandise from new consignors! read more

Today I picked up a Lou and Grey sweatshirt tunic, a Ralph Lauren bathing suit cover-up, and a striped J.Crew top for $30. I shop and consign with dejavu. I love consigning with them. She has sold so many of my things for me and she has an eye for picking what she puts on her racks. She has a ton of designer stuff so when u go to shop think of it like shopping at a large store like marshalls, you have to sift sometimes. But she is organized with size and type of clothing. Every once in a while she gets a "unicorn" like a nice Louis Vuitton piece and her prices are fair. When you see it, snatch it or it will be gone!! read more

There are absolutely no consignment stores for women in this area that can even compare to deja vu. I went there for the first time about a month ago and was so excited when I left with 2 pairs of like new "express" jeans for $14.00 each!!!! The dressing rooms are absolutely adorable- the owner has designed the store to look like a little boutique! You feel like you are shopping in a high end store, but you get to spend low end dollars! The girl that was working when I went in was so incredibly sweet! She didn't bother me but politely offered her help if I needed it, when she saw my arms were full she set up a dressing room for me and when she saw the deals I got she was just as excited as I was! I don't think I could ever spend top dollar on name brand clothes anymore now that I discovered how much I can save by shopping at deja vu. I agree with A.M. prices are way TOO HIGH these might be name brand designer clothes but they are USED nonetheless. Why pay outrageous high prices for preworn clothes you can get that on Ebay or buy new for much cheaper. Felt staff was a little snobby as well. A pair of used jogging pants was $17.00! read more

"Kim" had sold some items I left with her, now refuses to send me my check, she has not paid me since the due date of 11/5/16, she offered to mail my check to me back then because I was in the store and she had no check ready, but she still has not sent it. I have emails from her - very nasty - in the last email she tells me "she will mail when she feels like it"I have now gone to the Better Business Bureau to try and re-coup monies due me. PLEASE read your contract with her very carefully - this matter has now been referred to the NJ Better Business Bureau - perhaps then "Kim" will send a check..... read more
