Amazing store very neat and clean smells amazing. The employees and manager were very helpful with helping me with my sizing. They explain the shoe sizing to me which helps a lot shoe brands fault for different sizing not the store. They had a very wide selection of clothes. The price of the clothes was high, but the quality is worth it and to be expected because it is on a boardwalk other stores on the boardwalk are at the same pricing as well or even higher. They expressed they have no return or exchange policy so they wanted to make sure I got the right size and everything they let me try on anything I needed to in the dressing room. Giving this store 5 stars strictly on the online experience I had with them. I was in search of a sweater that was sold out everywhere and I happened to stumble upon this shop through Instagram. Through DM they were able to find the sweater, answer my questions and then place my order with a quick phone call. I don't think this store normally does online/phone orders as they have no online store, but I was truly grateful they were able to accommodate me as I was really wanting this item and live out of state. read more

Deep Blue Boutique - Women's Clothing Near Me - Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

I live in Pt. Pleasant Beach and have been in and out of Deep Blue several times. I know a handful of young high school students that have worked at the store over the years... and I feel awful for them. A lot of students work on the boardwalk to gain work experience, and I've heard horror stories of them being overworked without breaks on their 8+ hour shifts. My youngest sister worked there and was constantly harassed by the manager who is truly a very sad, nasty woman. I have personally been screamed at (Yes, screamed at!) for walking into the store minutes too early to pick my sister up from her shift. My sister's last day of working there, the manager yelled at this poor, 14 year old girl that she would "bad-mouth" her to the entire boardwalk so nobody else would hire her the following year. read more

Great little place on Pt Pleasant Boardwalk to pick up a hoodie, flip flops or a fun accessory. We just bought new Sanuks from here. They always have a good selection of beach wear and the employees aren't pushy. Every time I'm in Pt Pleasant I'm compelled to stop in and check out the new merchandise. read more

Cute beach store across from Jenkinson's nightclub. If you're looking for shirts like "I heart Pt. Pleasant" this would not be the place. Instead, it's filled with beachwear ala Quiksilver and Roxy. This also means of course that the cheapest pair of flip-flops is about $30 and is Sanuk. read more

Absolutely the worst store The store is completely overpriced and you can buy the same items at the Brave New World store for a fraction of the price and not be treated like garbage the service was awful rude and loud I've never had that happen before I will never go back there again! read more

On Sunday, August 24th 2014 around 11:30-11:45am I walked into the Point Pleasant, NJ Deep Blue Boutique. This boutique is a distributor of O'Neill merchandise. I walked in with the intention of buying something, but walked out disgusted. My boyfriend and I were walking up to the cash register to ask the cashier if there were a different size of flip flops in the back. Before we got to the register, the cashier made eye contact with me and yelled "Can I ask you a question?" I walked closer and said "Sure, no problem." The cashier had a dress in his hand and a customer in front of him. He held up a dress and asked "Would you buy this?" I said "No." I said "no" because I did not like the dress. I went to realize that the customer in front of him was trying to return the dress. He would not let her return it because the tag was bent. The dress was fine, but the tag was just a little bent. He was screaming at the lady and embarrassing her in front of other customers to the point of tears. She was crying, so I went up to defend her and she told me that she didn't even want her money back, just a merchandise credit. The cashier said that the lady was stupid for trying to return the dress and that there is no way he would take the dress back and give her merchandise credit. The lady pointed to the receipt and said "the tag is on the dress, and that is the policy, I am not even asking for my money back, just a credit." She explained nicely that she spent fifty dollars on the dress and had no use for it (it didn't fit, or something). The cashier proceeded to be ignorant and yell at her in front of other customers and said that it would be a disgrace to the boutique and O'Neill if they put the dress out with a bent tag. Words can not explain the situation well. But I have worked in customer service for years, and am in upper level management and I would never have that guy working my front counter. He should have explained to the customer that he was doing her a favor and gave her a credit instead of yelling at her, embarrassing her in front of other customers and making her cry. My boyfriend and I were going to buy three pairs of flip flops that were each $50, but we walked out with nothing just because of how rude the cashier was. The situation really got to me, so I walked back in the store about five minutes later to ask for the associates name. He refused to give it to me, instead he yelled and said "I'm not dealing with customers like you." I did, however, get his photograph. This is the first letter I have ever written about a bad customer service experience and I'm not even the customer. This was such a horrible first impression of Deep Blue Boutique and certainly does not represent the O'Neill brand well, either. I am simply copying and pasting the letter that I sent to Deep Blue and O'Neill so others can read it as well. read more

We had purchased my grandson a pair of reefs among a few bathing suits, etc. they reefs were to small ...I only wanted to exchange them. for a larger size. the manager wouldn't let me without a receipt. Last night with a spur of the moment decision, me and friends ended up going to camp at Jenkinson's Beach in Point Pleasant. That being said, i was extremely unprepared. I didn't throw a beach bag together, let alone even have a swim suit for the next morning when the beach opened! As soon as this cute boutique on the boardwalk opened, I hurried in. They opened fairly early, a little before 10. Right away, Barbara welcomed me and I explained to her my situation and concerns. Being a shop directly on the beach, I was hesitant about prices and also the quality of what I was about to purchase. Not only did she help me find a suit for the day, but honestly probably my favorite suit I've worn this summer so far. Definitely be weary that most suits are at least 30 and tops and bottoms are sold separately (which is a plus in my opinion), and of shopping be considerate that boutiques are always a little on the pricey side. Aside from all the help the employees offered, i was so happy with the customer service and what the boutique had in stock that i made my friends come in and take a look around! They were even generous enough to let me sit and charge my phone for a bit. There was no way I was letting this go without at least writing a review. Beautiful store with excellent customer service!
