I came to their new location for the first time today as I received a gift card for Christmas. I wanted to buy everything! The owner was there and she was so attentive to my needs, while also giving me space to browse and the option to try things on. It's a boutique so the items are a little pricier, but they are high end and of great quality. I purchased a sweater, some beautiful jewelry from a "pop up shop", and a denim jacket. I feel like it's important to support small businesses; I'll definitely be back and recommend this little store to my friends and family!

What drew me in was the window display of Christmas ornaments made with pieces of beach glass, all of which were beautiful. I had not intention of buying anything when I walked in, but I left with a gift for a friend that I just couldn't resist!

The two employees there were loudly discussing their college lives and could NOT care less. I was a bother to them. After being rung up, no "thank you, come again". The dressing rooms are absolutely adorable- the owner has designed the store to look like a little boutique! You feel like you are shopping in a high end store, but you get to spend low end dollars! The girl that was working when I went in was so incredibly sweet! She didn't bother me but politely offered her help if I needed it, when she saw my arms were full she set up a dressing room for me and when she saw the deals I got she was just as excited as I was! I don't think I could ever spend top dollar on name brand clothes anymore now that I discovered how much I can save by shopping at deja vu. Thank you to the owner for opening such a great little store in Toms River!

Instead of saying what I should it said, I asked my family to walk out if the store and I explain them. Dear owner, we were not the typical family that you see every day, as we are not white, we are Hispanic and my husband and son in law are white. But I wanted to let you know that we work hard for everything we have, including a nice vacation. Our grandkids worked doing shores and saved enough to get what they want on top of the spending money we give them for their vacations. We teach them value and respect. I could have stayed and confronted the lady, instead I walked away and by doing it, we were the biggest people and I tough them a lesson of respecting themselves and not allowing nobody to disrespect them and mistreat them because of their race. One thing for sure, every time we come back to town, I would never spend a penny on your store. I hope you learn a lesson with this and remember not to be racist. By the way, I am very proud of who I am and where I am coming from, Puerto Rico. I have served this country as well. I read the owner review, two points, at the time of our visit; there were only 2 clients, other than us. Second, clearly I heard the lady telling the young employee, I was just walking by her when she instructed her to look out for us. If there was no intention, there should not be any derogatory comment. Also, get cameras so next time you accuse someone wrongly, you can see. Do not try to sugar coat the reality of the event and the discrimination of the accusation. Do not worry, we don't let situations like this to take our great moments away. Yes, I was very upset as my daughter and granddaughter wanted to buy from the store, and telling them what the lady said was not easy, especially for my 13 year old. But my family time is priceless and we enjoyed the other stores.

We stopped in during THE PANDEMIC on a quiet weekday. I immediately fell in love with some of the framed photography, but like many others, during these difficult times, I'm on a budget, so that was a hard no to spending $150 on art right now. Luckily, when we wandered upstairs, we found less expensive prints of the images so we could frame it ourselves. SOLD. Staff were friendly. And bonus, even through my mask, it smelled so lovely inside.

She pulled everything in my size for me to try on. (Donna normally works at their main store Tuesdays and Thursdays I believe) I found a few pieces I liked and was able to score them during their first ever off-season sale (1 Piece-50%, 2 pieces-60%, and 3 or more 70% off!) Note: this is not a discount store but they ran a sale this weekend to make room for this summers collection! Ted, the owner of the store, rang me out and was extremely cordial and personable. I had an amazing experience here and I would highly recommend visiting if you are a Lilly lover in the area! (They have a bigger store about 10 minutes away if you want the newest and biggest selection) Donna even took my picture with the Lilly Jeep out front to commemorate my first official Lilly purchase! An amazing first experience, I'll definitely be back!

Tess, if that indeed was Tess, (I did not inquire), spent time showing me some of the chalk painting techniques that she uses. Offered advice freely and in a very friendly manner.
