I would like to see a separate section for petite clothing but otherwise a beautiful store!

NU2U or Scr$$ u? Depends on Whether you are buying or selling The good for buyers; opportunities to get a-lot of good quality stuff for better than retail prices. Of course Nu2U is a success. they are sitting in shopaholic Heaven at Jackson outlets. The bad; for them nothing comes to my mind right away. And...NU2U has quite a PR campaign going. Quite a show on instagram and facebook posts. They get lots of great reviews...mostly from happy buyers, who don't seem to understand who really provides them with these great deals and enough leftover to pay rent and salaries and all the PR and appearances of doing good. That would be people who enter in consignment agreements with Nu2u that are expected to let go of their more highly valued stuff for a lot less. So, For sellers now- ok! I was a consignor this past year but I decided to quit. reasons: 1) I found really isn't enough in it for me as a seller to bother; mostly because of too much effort and $$ involved in preparing and transporting items to them to sell and then very low payouts - combined with unpleasant interactions with some of the store associates. Some of The store associates did not appear (at least to me, anyway) the same people as they appear to be in those perky instagram posts. But you can't see their fangs on instagram. I found some to be quick to tell you when you are not following their contract but don't you dare call them out on anything. The last time I went to the store to pick up my unsold consignments a store associate refused to release them 3 days early from the 45 day consignment period unless I paid a 25 percent pen-al-ty to the store. But- technically I wasn't 3 days early; because she was two weeks late acknowledging my consignments! Also, at that time she admitted that she wouldn't be interested in re consigning any of the unsold items in this batch anyway if I left them. But-she asserted herself and made her point if there was one. and then, during the time of this discussion taking place, another store associate, who I later found out to be the owner's mother, walked up and inserted herself into the conversation to provide backup to her, or to be less polite, to gang up on me. she stared me down, growled like an angry zoo animal might and then attempted to reprimand/dress me down publicly in the store. She forgot to supply the popcorn. I left the store without my unsold items and haven't picked them up since. Not worth it. I made a mental note of how much money they made off of me this past year and it didn't sit well with me. People that have popular designer stuff and just want to downsize with no other agenda will do ok here. But, decide if donating yourself is a better option, if you really want "do good" to avoid the additional investment of the time and energy in driving to the store, making sure your clothes are labeled and gift wrapped appropriately, not bothering the staff on Mondays, the weekends or any other days they are either busy or closed, And to recap: potentially having to deal with various unprofessional behaviors from store associates; (ex. ganging up on you in public, dissing you and relying on enough plausible deniability to get away with it). And don't ever expect any accountability as in, for example, I know better than to ask why a couple of months ago I got $7.60 for a $160 pair of size 8 Bjorn loafers never worn. But they won't be getting any more new pairs of Bjorn loafers from me. Another note as to why it's about to get alot harder for sellers; I believe that it's become more popular to consign there. As that had evolved, they show signs of overwhelm as reflected in the complaints I described. The last time I was in the store to try to retrieve my consignments before they declared ownership of my things and/or gave them away (as per their one sided contract) I observed that a-lot of my things were jammed in racks where nobody was likely to find it. Something's got to give! But that may self correct if more consigners besides me start to not feel the love. read more

This store is amazing! Lori and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and they greet you the minute you walk through the door. The way the store is set up makes it easy to shop. The clothes on the racks are arranged by size and color. This allows shoppers to easily find items. I love the fact that they have entire rack dedicated to Free People. This store also carries luxury brands like Gucci, LV, Chanel. I have shopped other consignment stores and while most of them are ok. NU2U is the best! Lori has opened a second store dedicated to home goods. If you want to add some awesome clothing, shoes or household items these are the stores you need to shop at. read more

Not worth the time n effort. She rejects everything. Then what she does take in, prices it so low u make nothing. After 45 days whatever doesn't sell u have to come back n find it on the selling floor yourself or she donates it. Was a waste of my time. read more

Just read this review from Louise W that only gave this place 3 stars. I've had great experiences there so I didn't understand only 3. If the employees are going behind me cleaning up then I would be mindful of the mess I'm making. This is one of the best consignment shops and they work hard to make it a lovely experience for everyone. Touching everything after you did is just basic merchandising. Facing helps you find things more easily and helps the sales person remember what you are interested in. It's good customer service. I love a place where you can spend only a few dollars but still get that kind of service. I'd like to give NU2U 7 stars! 5 from me and the 2 missing from Louise W! I'll be back! read more

Though this use to be my fav lil consign clothing store and everytime I shop here I spend a few hundred dollars. Today's experience was not a fun. Theres more staff than necessary I felt stalked every item I touched I was being followed and watched. I paid for 5 stickers for a dollar and they were returned to the mix of stickers. I then took 6 instead of 5. The woman counted them and made me feel very uncomfortable and spoken about. I left the store feeling uncomfortable and it was super peddy. if a customer paid for something it should be put in the customer's bag by the EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE STAFF. Rather it was returned to the stack, then I was made to feel uncomfortable about accidentally taking one extra sticker. IF I EVER COME BACK and have a negative experience again it will be my last visit. read more

NU2U Consignment Fashions - Items for sale - Women's Clothing Near Me - Jackson, New Jersey

Nu2U is a sustainability focused, trendy, consignment store. In the past year, they have sold over100 items for my family, my church , and myself. These sold items include new and used jewelry, shoes, and clothing of all types and sizes. I have also purchased many unique pieces of clothing and accessories for myself for a fraction of the cost. This store does not look like a typical consignment shop! The owner and staff arrange the items very artistically with attention to color, style, and all the details. Everyone who works there is extremely patient, friendly and professional. The staff works with us to insure the best results; namely selling the items speedily, and at a fair price. I have introduced the shop to many people, and have not heard a negative comment! I suggest you and your friends and family pay NU2U a visit as soon as possible! I know you will be pleasantly surprised! read more

Wonderful women-owned business owned by the absolute loveliest women. I've been shopping here for a few months and they know me and my daughter by name. The best part is that they know my size and style so when they get new items in that I might be interested in, they make it a point to let me know. I can go into the store and talk to all of these beautiful ladies for an hour. Mama is just the sweetest and we adore her, especially Olive. I love supporting a local small business and love that they are deserving of all the success in the world. Please stop in and enjoy the great selection and AMAZING prices. And visit often because they have new stock all the time. If you go in, tell them Olive sent you! So happy we found this establishment! read more

I love this store! New items and like new/gently used clothes, bags, jewelry, accessories, etc. come in daily. Store is clean and organized and very easy to look through the different sections. Staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. They are very approachable and personable by getting to know their customers and learning their names (even suggesting items that they think are their style). They also do Facebook lives a few days a week to showcase new items and allow customers to claim/put them on hold. If you can't make it to the store for a few days after putting something on hold then you can pay on the phone and they will hold it for you. This is such a welcoming environment and I look forward to shopping in the store. I've purchased multiple items and watch the Facebook lives when I can. They are also very responsive and can call the store or contact via Facebook and reply quickly during business hours. This is a small business that I will continue to support! I have never consigned anything so this is just from a shopper's perspective but I have had nothing but great experiences! read more
