So busy not repairing shoes that she can't provide any customer service either. Nov 27 went to pick up shoes. Oops still not ready in fact haven't even started. 2 months of wasted time and have to pay a swipe charge on the credit card for absolutely nothing. When asked about that as part of the refund she said she had no time to discuss as she is very busy but thanks and hope to see me again. Nope--that will never happen!

One of the zippers broke, I was very disappointed and contacted the company (Tao) and they referred me to the repair shop. The shop was a throwback - obviously has been in business for many years. The service was friendly and it only took a few days to get my boot repaired, in fact they asked me to bring in both boots so they could clean and polish the leather. My booties looked absolutely like new- very happy customer!

They close at 4 and you don't find out unless you call, which again, is problematic because she needs social skills. Taking it out on the customers obviously isn't the right thing to do. I wonder if she was raised correctly. She claimed to have stretched my loafers, but only did it overnight, charged me $10, and they ended up feeling the same. I then went to another store and they stretched my shoes twice 3 days each and they actually felt wider.

I had been looking for a good shoe repair place and Shoe Repair Plus had good reviews so I gave…read morethem a shot. I dropped off a pair of Chukka Boots that had water stains on them. I did not realize at the time when I bought them, that they're not waterproof. So, of course after rain and snow there were water stain marks all over them. I brought them here and he was able to buff out almost the entire stain. There is still some stain slightly visible but I knew it was impossible to completely eradicate the stains. He also buffed the boats which made them shiny and gave them an almost new look. I dropped them off on a Monday and picked them up Thursday, so the turnaround time was quick. He also only charged me $10, which I thought was a very good price. I was very impressed and happy with the entire experience. I'm glad I finally found my go to shoe repair shop and I will definitely be brining my other shoes here for now on! I haven't worn these shoes for sometime. They were part of my collection that I didn't want to let go, so I thought I would try and restore them. The cobbler described what he would do as it relates to stitching the heel as well as gluing it. However, he actually stitched the outside of heel, making the shoe look like some sort of Frankenstein stitching around the heel. The shoe looks awful. He did not try to accommodate us at all stating that the job is done. I was truly upset, however, rather than make a scene and get completely out of character. I paid him and I left. The craftsmanship was awful and I would not recommend this cobbler to anyone. Those shoes retailed at the time for $750 19 years and now they are completely destroyed!

After the last attempt, I actually just gave up as the shoes were coming back to me relatively the same as I turned them in.
