I trusted the Google reviews for this business several months ago and fully regret ever stepping foot into Royal Cleaners. I was in need of one alteration to my wedding dress and brought another dress in for cleaning as well. It was February and my wedding was 3 months away. I tried the wedding dress on, was pinned for the alteration and told to come back in 30 days, which was also printed out on my cleaner's slip. I returned a month + a few extra days later, only for the them to tell me that they forgot to make the alteration and clean the dress. I was understandably upset that nothing had been done in an entire month and they never reached out to me saying they needed more time because they forgot to do it. The part that hurt the most was that they NEVER apologized or tried to remedy the situation in any way. The woman at the counter embarrassed me and attempted to downplay the situation by saying the date promised had only passed by a few days and I was overreacting. There were about 3 other people picking up their items and witnessing the exchange. She blew it off like it was nothing. My wedding was in May which is wedding and prom season so after this, I struggled to find another place that had the time to fix my dress. Had I not wasted the entire month thinking they were working on my dress, I could have easily found another place to do it, and luckily I did find another cleaner who felt sympathy for what they put me through and took care of it, just in time for my wedding. They caused me tons of stress during a time that is already very stressful and I left beyond angry and in TEARS!

This business serves the function of getting your clothes washed, but there is always an issue. My issue with the Ye Olde Washaus locations, including today, is the maintenance of their machines. Today I used 2 small machines and one is working fine. The other has considerably less water, which I'm actually not surprised to see. Disappointing, but I don't really come here much anymore, I guess I hoped that some things here would be better. It honestly gives the impression that the owner is ok with the low maintenance... & I can bet that the owner doesn't wash clothes here to know all of the operational issues. I am not trying to bash this business chain, I just feel like they could be a little better. I would recommend this business but, just be aware of the issues. They are courteous, professional, friendly and efficient. The store is kept clean and most machines functional. You have the option of dropping off your laundry and having it done for you, which is quite convenient if you can afford it. I go there to have my comforters done, which is only about $22 for a queen size comforter. Which is very reasonable comparatively. I highly recommend Ye Old Washaus! 100%

So for $20-$30 he lost a customer who was spending $500-$600/year since last 4 years. I just don't understand how can someone run a business like this.
