I'm honestly disappointed by our experience here today. My mom and I stopped in to shop, and while…read morewe were there, my mom suddenly really needed to use the bathroom. I understand the sign says there is no public restroom, but we politely asked one of the women working if she could please make an exception. She immediately said no, even after we explained that my mom really needed to go. I understand having policies in place, but I feel like there are times when a little compassion and humanity should come first. We weren't asking to use the restroom just for convenience, we were genuinely in a situation where she really needed it. Unfortunately, because of how the situation was handled, we won't be returning. At the end of the day, just be human. You never know what someone is going through.

There are absolutely no consignment stores for women in this area that can even compare to deja vu…read more I went there for the first time about a month ago and was so excited when I left with 2 pairs of like new "express" jeans for $14.00 each!!!! The dressing rooms are absolutely adorable- the owner has designed the store to look like a little boutique! You feel like you are shopping in a high end store, but you get to spend low end dollars! The girl that was working when I went in was so incredibly sweet! She didn't bother me but politely offered her help if I needed it, when she saw my arms were full she set up a dressing room for me and when she saw the deals I got she was just as excited as I was! I don't think I could ever spend top dollar on name brand clothes anymore now that I discovered how much I can save by shopping at deja vu. Thank you to the owner for opening such a great little store in Toms River!

I have sold clothing through Princeton Consignment a number of times. They are very picky with the…read moreitems they select, which I think is a good thing. They accept labels such as Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole and Anthropologie, on up to couture. The items should not be older than two years (which means this ISN'T the place to shop if you're looking for vintage), and it better not have any signs of wear. However, I have never purchased anything. Quite frankly, the clothes seem dated to me, which I don't understand because they say they don't want anything older than two years. But I saw some shoulder pads when I was in there today, as well as some very dated looking evening gowns. I didn't closely pick through the racks because I didn't see a single item that really caught my eye after a quick scan. My style of clothing doesn't match what they sell, but they always take my stuff, and it always sells. Can't complain about that!
