You are sourcing items for your home that have a story.   Located on King Street in historic Mount Holly, my partner and I came today to this establishment looking for a small table in our living room.   Upon arrival at Center Stage Antiques, we were greeted by the staff, who gave us the layout of the building, full of French and American antique collectibles. This place is big, with an 18,000 sq. ft. showroom and warehouse that has a huge selection with much better quality and is reasonably priced. They sell top name brands such as Ethan Allen, Harden, Thomasville, Kittinger, Henredon, Hickory Chair, Pennsylvania House, Hitchcock, and more. They have 1,000s of new pieces arriving each month.   In the end, we were happy to find our Serpentine table and were able to exchange words with one of the owners, Amy.   If you are in the market for antique furniture, they have a great selection that we can recommend.

They have a two-story warehouse full of antique furniture and unusual collectibles. Much of it wasn't to my taste, but they did have some beautiful things, and everything has character. We were looking for something more contemporarary, and found a cherry Ethan Allen curio cabinet and a nice mahogany console table, reasonably priced. Amy and Jeff were very cool, helped us with everything we asked, and personally delivered the pieces to my home several days later. On the down side, the inside of the cabinet smells like cigarettes, which was not apparent in the store or during delivery. I was able to clean it to only remove some of the odor. Wood is porous, so be aware of this issue when buying used or vintage items that's been in someone else's home.

He gave us info on the shop on the various treasures he would have available. There was a ton of neat things there. The first floor had a ton of records, beer memorabilia, NJ centric antiques, some toys, and animation cels. The 2nd floor was dedicated to anything to do with film or print. Charlie, Darlene and Rose were the best! They made me a beautiful dresser better than I could have…read moreever imagined. They turned below into what I exactly wanted. I randomly stopped in and I'm so grateful I did. They even delivered the dresser to me. I also had a mirror refinished by rose as well. She is going to take the time to come back to my apartment and hang it up and tell me what to get. Honestly, I am not handy, and a single mom, they really were so great to me. I totally dislike searching through stores and shop all online but I can't wait to take some time to stop back in the shop and actual look for some cool stuff to accent my new apartment shabby chic - whatever style.
