I ordered a latte from Noon, and I'm very happy to say that I really enjoyed the large decaf oat milk latte.

When you park in their lot for shopping only, there's no charge. If you're staying and walking across for the beach/boards, you're paying $10. My gripe with this place is that ever since I can remember, the woman at the register hasn't been very friendly at all. No hello when I say hello to her. My 4-year old needed the restroom, and she said she had no restroom (c'mon, really? This shop is in a large house..of course they have a restroom). Hubby had to take my son across the street to Subway to use their bathroom while I shopped (and purchased something!). Also, the Yelp check-in deal said (1) free seashell. After showing it to her, she said she didn't have any shells. Mind you, there are 99 cent seashells ALL OVER this place! And it was for my little boy, not me!!! On the way out, she says, "here", and gives me a prickly seashell. Thanks. Jenkinsons aquarium gift shop across the way has a good assortment of stuff - next time will just shop there. Just wanted to visit here one more time for memories sake. Always got nice stuff in the past here but not worth the 'tude.

The problem here is the attitude of the woman who works here (somewhere in her late 50s or early 60s and has sandy blond curly hair). I have watched her on several occasions be rude to customers. Someone asked her a genuine question this Saturday as to why the shop closes at 4pm. Her response was they would not make any more money. The customer then asked "even in the tourist season?" And the woman behind the counter said "yes honey!, even in the tourist season". The customer being offended by her tone said "well I guess you know better than me" and this woman's second rude response was "I sure do". This was just one event. There have been others that I've seen but I don't remember the details. So although I would highly recommend shopping here for the selection of items, I would though try not to interact with this woman much unless you absolutely have to. I have learned that she is not the owner and hope the owner reads this and will watch her more closely as she needs better people skills.

If pretentiousness had an aroma that would be the smell of the lobby -a motel pretending to be a hotel. They need to invest in air fresheners or candles as the lobby smell was not conducive to a pleasant place. This place is beyond dated with the continued use of a large metal door key. The pillow cases on the bed were faded calling the cleanliness of all the bedding into question. The bathroom was the worse! It was straight from 1950. The pink and green tile was borrowed from someone's super elderly grandma. The paper strip on the toilet was to indicate it had been cleaned was shown not to be true by the residue ( being kind) in the toilet. There was hair in the sink. The grout was stained but that could have been dirt too. The shower was small an barely fit an adult. It was so grungy I didn't want to shower. Thankful in a COVID world I still travel with Lysol spray and wipes. I was extremely happy to leave and glad it was only for one night. The daylight confirmed all the concerns of my night arrival out loud. For over $200 per night they should never be allowed to charge this for the condition of this place. The staff was very pleasant.

Even was wanting to hire Charlie, the owner, to help decorate it. Within two trips there, I had spent over $2,000 and was eager and ready to spend a lot more. After the 2nd trip in, I noticed one of the pillows I bought, a tassel tore off it. I never used it and the tags were still attached. I did also want to purchase a couple bathroom items but noticed they were each missing a pad on the bottom. So when I went in 5 days later to get a store credit or even exchange (bc they have a crappy return policy and only offer this!) I was told by the sales person she would have to discuss this with her manager bc she wasn't allowed to take back damaged items. I reiterated to her that I never even used it and the tags were still on it. After her (back room) phone call, she says her manager told her "we can't take it back." I informed her they literally have damaged items on their shelves and so, if a customer were to purchase them and realize it once they got home, they then wouldn't take them back? What a shame that over a dumb $200 pillow and the thousands I had spent in there (and more where that came from), they decided to bite their nose's off to spite their face. Back to online shopping with much lower prices, much better customer service and great return policies for me. Very sad.
