Their system is so simple and works out so well for the consignors and for the customers. The consignors get 50% of whatever their clothes sell for (and you don't have to pay a yearly fee to sell your clothes as you do in other consignment stores), and customers get great deals on great name-brand clothes. Their employees, especially Kim, are so kind and helpful. They will be honest with you with whether or not an item will sell. If an item does not sell after some months, it will be donated to charity, which they do make clear to you. I'm wondering if Lynne F. below has actually ever been in the store, because consignors do not receive checks once their clothes sell -- they have the option of either receiving cash or store credit. Squan Dry Goods is great if you need one place where you can shop for toddlers, teenagers, college students, young adults, and adults. They really sell clothes for all ages, which is why I've been able to shop there for so long. Their prices are unmatched, which makes it so easy to get lost there for hours and come out with bags of clothes. And hey, it's a great excuse to clear out your closet and fill it back up again.

Upon my arrival I thought the store was just the three rooms you can see from the front door but boy was I wrong, there's at least five rooms on the first floor and four on the second floor, it just kept going! The first floor had some things that seemed to be "new" and not second hand, but 95% of the store was for resale, which is what I was looking for. They also have a room with just vintage clothing and accessories which was cool to look at. This store seriously has everything you could think of from formal dresses for events and weddings, to your favorite brand jeans from Bloomingdale's. I was so pleasantly surprised! They also have a ton of purses for sale with brands like Kate Spade and Michael Kors all the way up to Louis Vuitton. This store is also organized by size and color which makes shopping so enjoyable and easy. I thought the prices were very fair, with many of the items I picked up being about 12$ or 14$. I wasn't in the market for any of the more expensive brands, so I can't speak on those prices but from what I saw I thought things were fairly priced for the great condition everything was in. Also, many of the clothes were organized by brand like Free People, Anthropologie, Nike, Lululemon, and way more. There's a fitting room as well which was helpful. I didn't get to check out the other stores but it seems that there was also a Men's store and Children's Squan Dry store next to this one, which was all women's clothing. It's also worth mentioning that this store had some accessories and small home goods too, both used and new, so it can be a great place to shop when you need to buy a little gift! There's a variety of tasteful Jersey shore-related merchandise as well as many other items so if I had t had my heart set on flowers, I would have had much to choose from. The dressing rooms are absolutely adorable- the owner has designed the store to look like a little boutique! You feel like you are shopping in a high end store, but you get to spend low end dollars! The girl that was working when I went in was so incredibly sweet! She didn't bother me but politely offered her help if I needed it, when she saw my arms were full she set up a dressing room for me and when she saw the deals I got she was just as excited as I was! I don't think I could ever spend top dollar on name brand clothes anymore now that I discovered how much I can save by shopping at deja vu. Instead of saying what I should it said, I asked my family to walk out if the store and I explain them. Dear owner, we were not the typical family that you see every day, as we are not white, we are Hispanic and my husband and son in law are white. But I wanted to let you know that we work hard for everything we have, including a nice vacation. Our grandkids worked doing shores and saved enough to get what they want on top of the spending money we give them for their vacations. We teach them value and respect. I could have stayed and confronted the lady, instead I walked away and by doing it, we were the biggest people and I tough them a lesson of respecting themselves and not allowing nobody to disrespect them and mistreat them because of their race. One thing for sure, every time we come back to town, I would never spend a penny on your store. I hope you learn a lesson with this and remember not to be racist.
