Bought a gorgeous sequin granny sweatshirt, absolutely love it! I preordered and it took the full 4 weeks they promised, but arrived on time. read more

The summer night perfume was my absolute favorite perfume. Every purchased it multiple times and also bought it as a gift for friends and family. The last time I purchased it it arrived, and it had no smell to it. The girl said it was a "bad batch" and refunded me my money. Tried ordering it again and it was the same exact smell. It's not like pure rubbing alcohol. I guess the entire batch was bad like she said, but it is still on their shelves. They're listing it as "final sale" now. Be careful and don't buy it!! They are scamming people. Not okay! I don't know if I'm more upset about not being able to buy my perfume now or the fact that they're stealing money from people. Already emailed them to make them aware. They understood the issue but still haven't done anything about it. read more

Went today to get some "mandatory hazel sweatshirts" , the cashier was so sweet and helpful!

worst matcha ever. literally pour honey into ice, like who does that? coffee shop is cute but they're just trying to make up for the bad coffee. and the costumer service was awful. the workers are so mean and rude. please save ur money. 10 dollars for straight blueberry flavored oat milk with chunks of honey. ALSO, they don't measure nothing they eyeball everything. my friend got a latte which is supposed to have 2 shots of espresso and it barely had one. read more

Horrible service and I saw the "barista" of sorts vaping indoors and had their vapes on the counter with the syrups and stuff. I also noticed that they don't wash their hands? And they make a drink mixing it in a pitcher with their hand almost fully in it. Honestly so disappointing. read more

Literally the worst customer service I have experienced in my LIFE. If you want to feel like you're in high school being bullied by the mean girls then by all means spend your money here. The clothes are a joke, aside from the dreadful "hazel" logo on everything (which like who th is hazel that I need her name blasted across my chest) the quality is that of Shein. The girls that work here are 40 year old means girls that should have retired the attitude 23 years ago, especially the one that looks like Mick Jagger (all of them). read more

Went there the other day and workers are rude and clearly don't want to work there. I went to their cafe and decided to try their cold brew and matcha. The cold brew was milky and didn't have a strong coffee taste. Their matcha was even worse and did not taste like matcha and tased like milk and watered down. Will not be coming back and do not recommended. read more

Worst customer service ever! My daughter received an overpriced shirt from here as a gift and we had no receipt for it. They wouldn't even allow her to exhmchange it for a different color! Such a joke! Will never spend another dime in this place. read more

Dont order from this place they do not offer good customer service online. Rude and should be out of business. Never shipped my items and refuses to give refund had to dispute online. The quality of the materials r cheap n they just bedazzled it and sell it for an absorbent Amy. Horrible experience. read more

Worst boutique I've ever been to. Immediately went to look at the adorable sweatshirts that I've seen worn by other New Jerseyans and Alix Earle. The sweatshirts are not well made and are just Gilden hoodies with "Hazel" printed on them. Before asking for the price, a worker obnoxiously says "yeah the sweatshirts are 88 dollars" while having a very nasty look on their face. Ok the sweatshirts are overpriced I get it. But saying it in an obnoxious voice as if I can't afford it is quite rude. The workers also stood around the counter chatting the whole time and were not very helpful. read more

I'd give this store less than 1 if I could. Me and a few friends decided to go in to browse and the workers there immediately gave us dirty looks and starting talking about us. My friend, a black girl (it's important) saw them switch the camera to watch us all shop to make sure we weren't stealing. This store RACIALLY PROFILES! If you aren't a white girl in lulu lemon, they won't serve you and don't think you deserve to shop there. Three white girls walked in as we were leaving and they were immediately welcomed in and greeted. Not us. read more

Came for my daughter to pick a few things out. The staff was super helpful with sizing, getting what would work best for her. Appreciative of their willingness to jump in.. I didn't need to ask for help :-). So many great pieces, we will definitely be back read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Workers are dishonest, disrespectful, and downright awful. Reviews don't lie, numerous one star reviews, too late for me hopefully not for you. I asked specifically if I was able to return an item. I was given a simple "Yes, as long as I have receipt" An hour after purchase, my daughter brought it back to return because the item was see through. Upon return they told me I was only able to return for store credit. That was never disclosed. Several violations made according to consumer fraud act. Return policy was covered up by object (later owner, who stated she was a manager, even though her picture is listed as owner on their website after researching the business, stated that it was Memorial Day weekend and they were busy, so items were covering it). Return policy not affixed to register, not posted at door and not on tags...which again is another CFA violation - no pricing was on any of their clothing objects. read more

horrible customer service, very rude. preordered an item in August and kept promising my item would ship "this week", never came. When I saw that I could just order the item off their website without being a preorder and called them out on it they changed it. Still don't have item. read more

Love the cute clothes and curation of the unique household decorations! Definitely a unique and colorful store that's worth stopping by and checking out. My critique falls with the store safety and staff etiquette. The rugs are all curved up on the edges and you trip as soon as you enter the store. When I was at the store the staff was rude and had no interest in being there of helping the customer. The employees were wearing masks but not over their mouth or noses! I had the same experience when I was at the Ramsey location with the staff. There was also a dog which I didn't mind and it was super cute but there were dog toys on top of the clothes which was weird. read more

I just tried to return something and the girl behind the counter was so extremely rude to me that the whole store turned around. I was about to buy a few more items but will never make a half hour trip to give this store my business. I would rather be a patron to a store like Lululemon who has an excellent return policy. All I wanted to do was exchange for a size. I didn't even want a refund. Terrible customer service. read more

Horrible customer service. After waiting since ordering on the 12/5/20 and my order for my niece's Christmas gift never arriving, this is the excuse I get after multiple emails: All of our Hazel sweatshirts, sweatpants, and bracelets are made to order items and on pre-order. They ship out 3-6 weeks from purchase depending on the styles ordered. Due to high volume this holiday season we were only able to guarantee orders placed on or before Black Friday to be delivered by Christmas. We are hoping for all remaining orders to be delivered by this week or early next week latest. Thank you for your understanding and patience with us! Now is now the time to be telling me this, I would never have ordered if I knew it would not be delivered in time. Will NEVER order from here again. read more

I've been here a few times but came again yesterday in search of a dress I spotted on Instagram. That yaaaaassss moment when you find exactly what it is you're looking for and in your size. The guy working at the Belmar location (there's a Hazel in Ramsey, NJ, too!) helped me with questions I had about what colors it came in and when. There's 3 fitting rooms on one side of the shop and then some more on the other side. They have the cutest clothes but if you're really petite it might be hard for you to fit into certain clothes because they do run slightly big. Very slightly though! The decor in the fitting room is very Free People/ Tumblr-esque and it's the cutest. Love Hazel and you should too! read more

Honestly had super high hopes for this place I was excited to visit because I have only shopped online but never been in the store before. Right when I walked in the whole staff gave me this weird judgy stare as if I shouldn't be shopping there or something. They all made glances at my sister and I as we looked around to the point where we actually got uncomfortable. Quickly just realized that the staff were just a bunch of rude snobs. Definitely changed my opinion of this place, I was able to overlook the crazy prices because the clothes are so cute but I simply won't be shopping at a place where the staff makes you feel so out of place based on appearance. Gave serious mean girl vibes. read more

Love the clothes, I never walk out empty handed ! Such variety to choose from. Definitely worth taking the trip.

I heard about this place through friends and went out of my way to go here. While it was a cute shop with nice clothing, the employees were extremely rude. The entire time they were talking shit about multiple people and situations. To be honest, that completely turned me off and even if I had found something I wanted to purchase, I still would not have because of the girls horrendous attitudes. Grow up & act professional! read more

Hazel boutique is not only a fun, fashionable boutique; they also offered me exceptional customer service! I bought a unique romper instore when visiting a friend. When I got home, I saw the back had a large stain that went through the lining material as well. I emailed the store, and Jenna emailed me back promptly. She shared her phone number to resolve the issue, called the store to find a replacement, and sent it out to my house out-of-state. Here I thought my purchase was a lost cause, but their passion for fashion has made me one happy customer. Great job and many thanks! read more

Had visited their other store in Ramsey and loved it , so I figured I was in Belmar at the beach for the day and decided to visit this other store of theirs . So glad I did . The store is so cute and the cloths were so different . I actually bought a few things . The sales people were very helpful bringing me different sizes to try on as I was in the dressing room . They were very attentive. Definitely giving this store a 5 star and will be back again to check out their new apparel . Kath read more

I recently visited this location after following them on instagram for quite some time. The store was so cute and had a lot of adorable items to try on. My only issue was I felt the staff was SO inattentive. Throughout my entire shopping experience the staff just chatted with each other or tried on pieces of jewelry. I had no idea where the fitting rooms were and even thought its a small store, it would have been nice to have someone approach me and ask if i needed a fitting room or how i was doing. I felt as though the staff was more interested in talking to each other then actually doing their job. Overall, I love the clothes there and will most likely return. read more

Hands down the best customer service I've ever received - both their instagram representative and owner Jenna went above and beyond to make sure my experience with them was impeccable. They were attentive, kind, and willing to help with everything I needed over multiple months of trying to get some items that went out of stock frequently. They put up with everything and I was definitely an annoying customer -- but they were so willing to do it ! Not only that; their clothes are so cute and have such good quality. I would recommend their boutique so much that I downloaded Yelp just to review them. And if you find something you want, get in quick ! Although they restock quickly, because of how cute the clothes are they tend to sell out ! Honestly one of the best online shopping experiences that I've ever had, if not the best. These girls went so above and beyond for me that even my boyfriend was impressed and asked if we could buy from them on a regular basis to support their business (which we will be doing) ! Definitely recommend them with everything I have ! Thank you again girlies :) read more

With so many fun boutiques to choose from in Belmar, how does one small business stand out from the rest - with amazing style that's how. This boutique has fun up to the minute stylish pieces that can go from the beach to the club with a shower and change of shoes. As a matter of fact shoes are probably the only thing not sold here. Cool teeny bikinis, funky tees and amazing handmade jewelry really round out the offerings of stylish shorts, skirts and tops! Funky fun multinational dream catchers decorate the walls but this place will make your fashion dreams come true! read more

While the clothes are beyond cute they never have in stock what they promote on their social media. A friend and i went to the store 30 minutes after a post of a new item arriving only to find out that it had already been sold. They lack a variety of sizes and only seem to order an extremely small quantity of what they promote on their social medias. Not to mention that their staff is stuck up. I've been to this location 5+ within the year and every time I have gone in there it is just the workers socializing with each other. They make the atmosphere very uncomfortable and my friends and I refuse to ever go there alone. While they promote cute clothes I wouldn't bother waisting my time here. I always leave empty handed and uncomfortable. read more

Was a regular customer to this cute boutique and was very happy with it, until out of the blue I was exchanging a bathing suit for a size up and after leaving the store got home to find 2 missed calls from the boutique on my phone as well as a text message personally from one of its owners, Jeanna, who blatantly suggested I had shop lifted just because I was not prompted to give the receipt when I made the exchange. (I had bought the bathing suit the day before and did the exchange with the same girl that had sold it to me and she did not ask for the receipt so I did not think anything of it in the moment). Jeanna, after saying how "she has security cameras and thought there was something suspicious about the exchange", dramatically said I was no longer welcome to shop at Hazel. The fact that the owner said such a thing and treated me in such a way after the employee made the error of forgetting to ask for my receipt appalled me. I called Hazel back to tell them I would be happy to send in the receipt (by mail, because after the encounter I do not want to go back to that store) and nicely said how I was disappointed that I was immediately accused of shop lifting to which the owner hung up the phone. Hung up on me as I tried to clear up any misunderstandings. Thank you Hazel for your manners. I do not know what leads a store owner to jump to such conclusions and I will give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad day, but I will not be going back. She made me feel personally victimized when I had done nothing wrong and I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service and the management of the store as a whole. read more
