I was waiting for a fitting room and the two employees both walked by me with no acknowledgment. I decided to keep on waiting because I loved the dress I had selected and finally one opened. When I went to check out she doubled my charge and I had to ask her if the tag said something different because she would have overcharged me. So I've gone here multiple times, not because I love the place but because I had a gift credit to use. What's struck me every time is the lack of customer service in terms of basic acknowledgement of you entering and leaving, and of assistance in any way. My most recent experience in entering, there were 2 females, one I assumed to be the owner since she looked more mature. Zero acknowledgement. As I was leaving, the younger didn't bother to look up from her phone until I said bye first, then she muttered something. A friend of mine purchased a lovely gift for me at Juli Mei for Christmas. Unfortunately I already had the wrap bracelet and I do not have Pierced ears. I had the box and bag the gift came in with the store's name. I simply wanted to exchange and purchase a new item and planned on purchasing pretty black top I saw in the window. I went in on Saturday to do the exchange. The nice gal didn't know how to do it as I did not have a receipt. I said no problem and she asked in if I could come back Sunday between 10 and 4. On Sunday I was told I was not able to exchange the item as all jewelry sales are final. Not to mention she was pretty "smug" about it. I was asking for a simple exchange and wanted to purchase additional items. Needless to say I will never shop in the store again and will be happy to refer my friends to Rare Cargo, Metropology, Katherine's, Weston Gallery and Marteens in Manasquan and Spring Lake Jewelers in Spring Lake. Went to this store today from beach...i live local and I had cousin in from California she loves this store. Walked in.. no greeting..too busy?... no we were only customers..owner rudely bumped into my cousin while fixing display..no excuse me kiss my ass nothng...i could go on I won't.. cousin purchased top.. no thanks.. no come again nada nothing...i was going to buy sun glasses but decided I could get them online...i will assume there is a local steady clientele that keeps her open.. but if your not a steady then run for hills. read more

I just stumbled upon this fabulous boutique. OMG, i was blown away by the selection of jewelry, accessories, make up, clothing and more. They also do facials, although I did not have one. this store is a gem and you would do yourself a disservice by not stopping in to check it out. The prices are fantastic- totally affordable. Thre is something for everyone here from young to old.. Not at all what your would expect from a boutique in Spring Lake pricewise. I was so glad I stopped in. Juli is terrific and so very friendly and helpful, but not hovering. read more

I got a facial here and it was excellent! Very professional staff. Great products as they use Jurlique. Felt wonderful after. The only thing is that they like to put mineral powder on face when done, and my lady put a little too much on me and it was rather cakey, so say no to that if you get a facial. If you want to be treated rudely and ignored by salespeople who can't even disguise their contempt for you when you walk in--this is your store! No one will acknowledge you or offer to help you. If they say anything it's with disgust. I have been here a lot because the clothes are great but the customer service is horrendous! The last time I went the store was empty. Just Disgusting! I shopped in this store for the first time and I cannot believe the disgraceful way they run the store.Initially, I liked the selection and I purchased a few items. As soon as I walked in the door I asked the girl what the return policy is. I bought one dress and a romper and a few other items. The dress and the romper despite my large chest looked fabulous and slimming in the store (they gave the mirrors on an angle and these mirrors are DEFINITELY skinny mirrors because I went home and the dress and romper made me look huge.On my first visit I took a bunch of items in the dressing room, no one helped me or said anything. I paid and left. After seeing how huge the dress and the romper made me look when I got home I decided to go first thing in the morning. I was at the door at 10 am when they opened and told the girl who was there that the items looked totally different when I got home I said I was going to exchange them and she didn't say anything. A little while later she said rudely that their store policy is only 4 items in the dressing room at a time and there were people waiting for the dressing room. I had to hurry which affected my judgement and THEN it really started. I went to the register with my items and was told dresses are not returnable and it says so on the receipt. I told this nasty person that I asked what the return policy was as soon as I walked in because I know how sneaky some boutiques can be.i said she needs to call her boss and exchange the dress. I told her I live an hour away because she said she could take down my information and have her boss call me. She was the only sales girl there and very overwhelmed because the store was packed. She accused me of wearing the dress('you could have worn the dress last night and returned it today).first off it was pouring rain the entire day and night when I purchased the dress plus it was floor length and pure white and showed NO signs of wear (like someone would wear a floor length pure white maxi in the pouring rain). I insisted that she get in touch with her boss because I was not going to get stuck with this. She embarrassed me (well embarrassed herself) by saying she needs the counter space for the other customers. A woman who shops there often and knew the owner's name actually said to me that I should just take the dress I told her to mind her own business! I wasn't budging from there with that dress! She made numerous calls and kept saying her boss was in a 'meeting' yeah right with who? She owns a clothing store she's not the CEO of Starbucks ! I still stood there I explained I have an anxiety condition and this is making me nervous she said she has one too and that she is shaking. I didn't see any shaking and she kept saying she was going to get fired if she returned the dress. I still wouldn't budge, if they had proper mirrors and lighting in their dressing rooms I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this. Low and behold someone called her and gave her permission to exchange the dress and the exchange was like I committed murder or something. She said I am BREAKING our return policy! OMG!!!!!!!! I have never seen anything so absurd, ridiculous, embarrassing and unnecessary in my life. If you read this and still shop in this circus of a 'boutique' I feel sorry for you when you change your mind and God forbid have to return something read more
