The sides were the highlight: the fried okra was cooked to perfection, and the green beans were well-seasoned. Unfortunately, they didn't have cobbler. Our waitress explained, "We only have it when the owner's daughter-in-law makes it." Honestly, that should be a special, not something printed on the menu. It has has an out side sitting area. We walked up to the self ordering kiosk. We ordered the 1lb burnt ends, $24.99, but it no way looked like the container was an actual pound. The burnt ends were very tender, well seasoned and the sauce that came in was awesome. We also got two side orders a medium cream corn which was well seasoned and very tasty for $7.99 and a small brisket beans which were spicy but very tasty. We also got two drinks half sweet/unsweetened tea, $2.25 and HEB Dr. B half liter $1.00 total $43.00. We sat at the outside sitting area and when one the female employees came around asked how we were enjoying the food my brother asked why they did offer any paper plates she acted like he was speaking in a foreign language. She didn't even try to answer his question but just kept on walking away. Overall it was a good experience I would back again cause I really liked the food. Not the best and not the worse.
