I understand there is an expense in maintaining pools, and that the owners pay fees, but the $9 per person per day without the ability to pool hop among their many pools if you don't like the one you started in is a bit steep. I think maybe $6 for adults and$3 per kids would be more reasonable, especially since the average stay is around 2 and a half hours. Still, it was clean , the people were pleasant, and my family had a decent time.

We loved spending a few hours here so much that we came back a second day. The beaches are clean and not crowded. Lots of dogs, so be warned if you're averse. The marsh trail was really cool. We saw several small fishies, pipefish, crabs, egrets, just really cool to look in the water throughout the trail and observe. Bayside beaches are hidden spots for isolated swims. I saw a family here and there just swimming completely alone. The forest trail was also a good one to walk. More interesting nature. We weren't too crazy about the dune trail. Although, it was interesting to see the old abandoned road in the middle of the dune. Horses here there and everywhere, almost. Overall, such a fun place to visit. Go for a few hours or spend the day. Remember, ensure it's breezy and you'll be almost completely fly free.

The sandy area is very wide and stretches for 3 miles with zero shady spots or trees. Lifeguards were gone for the day with their stands turned upside down. I noticed some vehicles actually parked on the beach near the northern end, a very cool perk that is not allowed back home. Ocean conditions were fairly calm but most folks were in waist-high water at most. OVERALL: Spacious real estate, but coming from Hawaii, my expectations are set too high, LOL.
