Great people, great food make a great experience and that's what I got twice. Thanks to Lex, Paige…read moreand Erika. The first was two days ago. I got into OC at 2005 and was told by Primos they closed at 2000 and wouldn't serve me. So I wanted to try Fast Eddie's and went there. Lex checked to see if it ok to grab something to eat and let me in since it was empty and they were cleaning up. They were so nice and I know it was slow but they gave great service and the smash burger was great. Tonight was a late dinner so I walked over and was happy to find out on Sundays their happy hour specials are all day (at least right now) so I got buffalo wings (they were very large) and a smash burger with a side of onion rings. They were all amazing. Paige was there again and I mentioned the other night to Erika and how great it is to have customer service at that caliber. Definitely check this place out.

We have been to Fast Eddies a handful of times and have always had a good, if not great experience…read more Two weeks ago was a different story. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. I don't know if we'll be back to be completely honest.

Being my first visit, I stuck with the burger for my order per the reviews. I ordered the FRENCH BURGER 17.99 Topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, Sautéed mushrooms with bleu cheese BBQ sauce & onion rings...mmm good. dressing, topped with melted Swiss. This was a very delicious and neat burger cooked perfectly as ordered. The blue cheese sauce was there but not overpowering as blue cheese sometimes is. Loaded with fresh mushrooms, delicious. I highly recommend this burger! Mom had the cheesesteak which was a bit disappointing as it looked and tasted as if the meat was steamed not fried. We also had the chicken fingers as an appy and they were really tasty! Large soft drink cups were a bonus. Everything was clean and outside patio was being power washed during our visit. I would come back for the burger!

Started with a chili after asking if they had soup and was told no. Chili was good - very thick and could use a little water or broth thin it a touch. But the flavor was very good. For my meal I went light with a BLT. Something simple and still just enough. Served with chips which I didn't eat - the sandwich was standard. Our waitress was nice - foreign girl - but friendly and attentive. Darker inside and really thought this place would be bigger inside but reminded me of an OG neighborhood Ruby Tuesday type place.

Although, it is a good bit wonky getting to the restaurant through hotel parking and navigating the lobby or floors. I would consider Marlin Moon to be a mid scale dining establishment serving finer cuisine. Colors are nautical in theme, vibrant to light blues, whites, and other decor that adds a little touch of sophistication. Service was pretty good. Waitress was friendly, polite, and possessed a happy upbeat attitude. I had the snakehead Latin style which was really good. Was hoping for a different kind of fish than what I normally get home, and Marlin Moon delivered. Only downside was the tiny diced onions in the corn salad. I picked most of them out. Wifey had chicken Chesapeake which she liked also. Whatever she didn't eat I did before the take home box could hit the table. Definitely would return for other offerings. The outside balcony makes for great photos also.

First and foremost, we could only choose from the left side of the breakfast menu. Which was actually a good variety of breakfast food. It included drinks but not the alcoholic ones. We had a waitress who was an intern and then we had a waiter that served us 2 days. The waitress did really good and was engaging with us. She made a few mistakes but fixed then and apoligized and fix everything. The waiter on the other hand was not engaging first day he took our order and never interacted with him until we had to ask for more drinks and then he slapped the check on our table.
