He was pleasant and courteous on the phone call to answer my questions and schedule a cleaning. He showed up on time for the job today and he did a top-notch job. In those few areas where stains were still present, he explained to me why that was the case and what I could do going forward to help minimize them. On top of all that, Steve's quote was literally one-third of the other quote I received. I just don't know how you get any better than that. Thank you, Steve. I paid Steve $247 which includes $48 for pet treatment, a mother's day gift my daughter wanted. I'm going thru chemo so its the least I could do to pay her for caring for me. I asked Steve to clean a hallway, 2 6x8 area rugs and around the furniture of 2 full furnished bedrooms. We'll as you can see the white rug has dirty water streaks, the green carpet is soaked with dirt and water. The hall is still stained. Why not lean until the dirty water runs clear. They informed I could use the groupon but it would be $25 extra for the hallway. I advised him that currently Groupon was having a sale and gave a screen shot of the total being $87. He asked my zip code, then told me I was out of range. I clarified that I was 19 miles away and the Groupon clearly states with in 20 miles. He told me 'sorry no'. And the conversation ended. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! HORRIBLE!!!! My entire house was left smelling like dog crap and there was none in there to start with. I sent Steve a text to show him what my couch looks like after I swipe it with a white cloth and it's brown! He told me he didn't pee or poop or throw food on my carpet and leave it, I did. Then he blocked my number and my husbands because he said I was mean. My carpet is only 3 years old and needed basic cleaning and the one bedroom with A pet stain needed treating. And this is what I get for $630?? I am reporting this business and continuing to share my pictures, videos and text thread with Steve until he remedies the situation with reimbursement because never will that shady dude be in my house again. If I'm hiring someone to clean my carpets. It might mean I'm probably too busy to rent my own and do it myself. Cleaners were supposed to arrive at 2:30 pm. I started moving all of my furniture in the house are 1:45 to make sure I was courteous and vacuumed and moved everything out of the way so this gentleman didn't have to. Deep Clean Carpet Cleaners never showed to our apt. 12/18. He never notified us he had to cancel. I had to message him through a text message to find out what was going on through an EXISTING text thread. He claimed his battery died the night before and he didn't have my phone. Our apt was 2 pm the next day and he didn't even try to contact me between the night before and 2pm the next day . We waisted a whole day prepping the house. I was able to make  another apt and messaged him asking about a possible discount for some of the additional stair fee due to the inconvenince for the cancelation AND for not being contacted even through he had our phone. He did not respond to my text request. For the second apt he arrived late with no notice on 12/21 I asked him about a possible discount and he got angry and left with no opprtunity to talk. I asked him to follow through on our apt as he rushed to his van and he would not stop and he drove away. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. My mother n law hired this place to clean our carpets and couches. They were prompt getting here and stayed a couple hours. After they left we used our small carpet cleaner we own and pulled up some of the dirtiest water I have ever seen. We contacted the company to see if their machines were broken because of the carpet still being so dirty and they said their machines worked just fine. Just bad customer service. End of story. They lie about the prices, they twist your arm into doing something you don't want to. If you try and tell them you don't want the service they try and charge you for gas, than they charge you more than what is advertised on the Craigslist add. They aren't even nice about trying to charge you for gas, they're rude and demand 20 dollars for coming out. They advertised for 69 dollars on Craigslist, than come out here and say, no actually 188. They say on the add 18 - 100 for pet treatment depending on how many rooms. There was only one room to treat, and they were trying to charge that much more. This is a disgusting company. Wish I could rate this zero stars!!!! Deep clean carpet cleaners on fb market place is the worst! Would not recommend to anyone. My parents paid him to clean 2 small rooms and he left one looking worse than it was before. He was supposed to come back 2 days later to deodorize (because the rooms reeked when he was done and he said that was normal) and it took him six days to come back. He was late both times he came, and when we pointed out the giant stain he left he blew up and left refusing to try and do anything about it! He was beyond rude to my mom. " I didn't pee on your carpet, that's not my problem" were his words. I understand pet stains and what not, but he went straight to being angry as soon as it was pointed out. When I went outside as he was leaving he was taking a picture of our for sale sign. I asked what he was doing and he said "if you're gonna leave me a bad review I'm gonna trash you on the internet too" This guy is a joke. I wish I'd read the Yelp reviews before buying this Groupon because it appears that they just use it as a way to try to upsell more services and not do the actual work. To start, they were 30 minutes late, no warning or explanation. Not a big deal by itself, but.... the quote he gives me is for $185 IN ADDITION to the $109 Groupon. The Groupon covers 400 sq feet of carpet and a couch or stairs, but he says since my couch is a "three-piece sectional" (it's actually a pull-out from Ikea that is 6 feet long long) it's not included with the Groupon but will be $109 more just for the couch! I review my Groupon and inform him that nowhere, not even in the fine print, does it refer to a 7 feet minimum. He tells me the fine print doesn't say it, but he does, and that's that. When I protest, he tells me he's cancelling our appointment, to contact Groupon for a refund, that he can't "Give away his services." I'm not sure he realizes that Groupons are supposed to be a deal/savings coupon?? That's the point. In addition to the $109 he wanted to charge for the couch, he had added $38 for "pet cleaning" and another $38 for "deep cleaning." Um.... isn't that the point of getting your carpets cleaned professionally? Why would I pay EXTRA for that? read more

Beware. Don't use these people. Everything was wrong: the price much too high for the space and for the very quick job. Spots worse. Carpet stiff and sticky. Still wet after 48 hours, with water damage to baseboards and odor of dampness. No vacuuming beforehand. No moving even so much as a lamp, let alone furniture. Asked for card at start of job, obviously concerned the customer might not be happy afterwards. I found this business through craigslist (should have been a red flag enough), and they didn't post their professional business name. (Red flag #2) I had to search his phone number to find out if this was an accredited business, because no professional business acts like this. He came to the service 15 minutes late, (Red flag #3) did not ring the doorbell to let me know he was here (red flag #4) and left! I called him to ask where he was and he said my ring doorbell and Blink camera made him "uncomfortable", (red flag #5) welcome to every house in America! I'm actually very thankful I have cameras at my house to be able to catch how strange and abnormal he was acting, and how unprofessional his services were. Charged more than the Craigslist ad said. No biggie -- we just wanted to get it done. But after it dried... it still smelled like the dogs of the previous tenant. This is the second time we have used Deep Clean Carpets once around 3 years ago to get a spot out of the carpet before Christmas and Steve was great then however the second time around is a whole different story. He showed up two hours late for our set time and walked in looked at our carpet and told us we would have to sign a waiver saying all the spots would not come clean. Okay so my husband asked him a few questions such as will he be able to get some of the spots out of the carpet? Suddenly Steve tells us you know what I think im gonna pass on this job, I don't like your attitude and that he would not be making enough money, then he walked out. These guys are a little shady about pricing. I found them on craigslist and contacted them about cleaning my apartment. They quoted me $88. I was ok with that and they came out the next day. When they got here, the guy I talked to said it was going to be another $30 for some pre soak thing they do to help get dirt off the floor in the high traffic areas. When I asked him about the price change, he told me that it's hard to accurately quote someone over the phone for the job until they see it. Maybe they shouldn't quote people over the phone then? Also, if the pre soak is something they do every time they clean a carpet and charge for it, then they should say so. I paid him what he wanted because I needed it done on that day. Also, they wanted money before they cleaned which I was a little weary about, but all that said the carpets are clean so they did good there.
