I had the privilege of working with Rob for his DJ services and photo booth services for my wedding in May 2017. Rob does excellent, quality work for whatever event you may be planning. Right from the beginning he was great at communicating and prompt with all email replies to my questions. We worked together and coordinated my ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and reception music. Many guests complimented on his great music mixes he did during my reception, the dance floor was packed the whole night! His photobooth services are excellent as well. Quality photos, great props and an attendant to help with the process the whole night. My guests LOVED the photobooth, it was also packed the whole night. Rob also did my uplighting and spotlighting as well for my reception. The venue was beautiful, the uplights are what really makes it a romantic setting. Rob was referred over to us by a friend and we couldn't be happier that we went with his company! He was very professional and prompt from day one. Communication is very important when picking wedding vendors and isn't something you have to worry about with Rob. Rob will get back to you right away, mostly within 30 mins to an hour. Even if he can't answer your questions right away, he acknowledges he received your question and will get back to you as soon as he's free. We had Rob take care of our Photo Booth, uplighting, Emcee duties and be our DJ for the evening. Our guests loved the photo booth and used it all night. The uplighting helped transform the room, making it look elegant and not look like your typical hotel ballroom. Rob is known for DJ'ing and didn't disappoint. The music he played and the way he mixed the songs were to everyone's liking and took into consideration the music we liked. I've been to many weddings and the sound system was always too loud or sound distorted. The equipment Rob uses is top of the line and puts on a nice production. Sound is crisp not too loud and overbearing. Rob mastered the sound to perfection. His DJ booth setup was also very nice. He had a white frosted/transparent wall in front of his setup so you don't see his tables, wiring etc. This was a nice touch to help complete the look of the room. We found Rob of DeeJayPros at a wedding fair where he was the MC for a fashion show. Having an awesome DJ and MC for our wedding reception was extremely important to me and my then-fiance (now husband), and after hearing Rob work his magic at the wedding fair, we knew we wanted more information. Rob was extremely quick to respond to our inquiry, and communication with him was extremely easy throughout the entire process. His pricing was extremely reasonable considering how amazing he is. He worked fantastically with our coordinator at the reception to make sure we stuck to the timeline throughout the night. We were even able to play a scavenger hunt / musical chairs game during the reception which was a HUGE hit with our guests! My husband's cousin is a DJ and is extremely critical of other DJ's work, and he told me the day after our wedding that he would rate Rob 10 out of 10 in DJ and MC skills. Rob did a great job at our wedding. It was great working with him right from the outset. He was prompt, attentive, and really willing to work with us on getting everything just right. One nice thing was how Rob knew when to reach out and also knew when go with the flow as my wife and I navigated the wedding craziness. We provided him our playlist and he did not fail to get all the big hits out there. The dance floor lighting and uplighting really set things off and I recommend you taking him up on the uplighting if you have the chance. Another great thing was that there was no hidden costs. My husband and I already had a DJ in mind before we went to a bridal faire and met Rob. He seemed really easy going and we even got to hear him MC a bridal fashion show. We knew right away that we wanted him as our DJ for our wedding! He knew how to make people laugh and get the crowd dancing. Throughout the prep for our wedding, he responded quickly to every email we sent and gave us helpful suggestions about our music. He even came out to our venue before the wedding to review the set-up and see the location, which was quite a distance from Hercules. I had the pleasure of meeting Rob last Saturday, 2/8/14 at a wedding I coordinated in Walnut Creek. He showed up early to setup, and even wore a shirt that coordinated with the color of the wedding, which is a huge plus in my eyes! He provided DJ, EMCEE & uplighting services. He was an excellent speaker, made a few jokes here and there, sounding very natural. Rob is truly an amazing DJ. He was the DJ for my and my husband's wedding in Berkeley, CA, and he made our wedding reception unforgettable! Due to his impeccable choice of music and smooth transition between songs, the dance floor was never empty! I also stated that we immediately booked him for my 40th birthday party...Well I had my birthday party and once again words can't describe the DEEJAY PROS EXPERIENCE. I partied from the time I was introduced to the time they told me my party was over, I didn't even sit down to eat. My feet hurt (in a good way) after my aunt's party but after my party my whole body hurt (in a good way). Rob once again exceeded all expectations and my guest are still talking about him. To say that Rob was" good" is like saying that the Mona Lisa is "alright." This guy is top notch class A #1. If he is not the top rated DJ on this site he needs to be. Myself and my bride were blown away with the skill and class that came with this man. We wanted for nothing when it came to his attention to detail. He showed up in full force with the newest top of the line equipment, lights and sound. His monograms are worth every cent, he even gave me the monogram slide at the end of the night. The music selection was perfect, from the oldest to the youngest in attendance were on that dance floor and having the time of there lives. He reads a crowd like most read billboards, clear and perfect! He impressed the father of the bride so much that he is still talking about Rob to this day (2 weeks later). This review is long overdue. We were lucky enough to meet Rob at a bridal fair in SF and knew immediately that he was the DJ for our daughters wedding. We were so impressed with Rob from start to finish, he is kind, patient and so responsive! He returns phone calls and is always very professional. He listened to each one of us and more importantly he made our daughters wedding a dream come come true! Rob was fantastic from the first time we met him all the way through the wedding!! We had met with another large company of DJ's in the area and had not been treated very well, so we started to look at other companies. I had seen Rob at a bridal fair and remembered his name. So, we met with him at a place near my home and told him we would be in touch with our decision. My fiancé and I did not even get back to the car before we both decided said we wanted him to DJ our wedding. He was professional, kind, experienced and exactly what we were looking for. Communication with him could not be any quicker. He always responded right away. He even emailed me back at 1:30AM, the night before our wedding, when we realized the song we had chosen for the mother/son dance was not going to work!! Everyone complemented me on the playlist and although I think they assumed I had handpicked each song, the truth is that Rob was just doing what he does best. The lighting he provided was amazing!! It totally brought all of our details and colors together. I was hesitant to get the Gobo light that said our names, but my fiancé really wanted it. So, we ordered it.
