Short review: We are very very happy with our bathroom…read moreremodel. Everyone on the team was really nice and I was very pleased with the way that they set up/prepped before and cleaned up after the job was done. Luis and Bree are a great team to work with from start to finish. Communication was fast and they helped with every step of the way from design to purchasing to following up with every concern no matter how small. I have my spa bathroom that I've been waiting a very long time for now! Many thanks to their whole team. Long review: We had a bad experience with a company (not Tincopa) that was supposed to repair a leak that was coming up our upstairs bathroom. They tore out our shower floor without asking and didn't actually repair the leak as promised. Tincopa was able to find the leak and tell us what actually happened very quickly. Wish we would have found them first! From the start Luis and Bree addressed all of the concerns that we had about budget and let us know what we were going to be able to realistically do. I messaged Bree A LOT about design choices and she had really great suggestions for everything from tile to fixtures and even ideas for storage. She helped get everything ordered and they kept it in their warehouse. She had suggestions for where to go shopping for tile and was able to help us purchase things and the team picked them up. It saved us a lot of money on delivery fees. I would not have been able to find some things on my own like a gorgeous Taj Mahal quartz ledge for the shower. Luis was on the job site for the start of each part of the process to make sure things went the way they should be. If a new person was going to be in our house he was there to introduce them and tell them what was supposed to get done. This really helped to ease my concerns about things going well. The last people we had where it went wrong was because it was a game of telephone and the person who promised to be on site was not. Every person on his team was very friendly and respectful as a woman I think that's such an important part of who to hire. I felt comfortable and safe with everyone on his team that was here. My dog also liked everyone here which I think says a lot too! Shout out to Alberto and Leo (tile) for all of the great work they did. They did full prep work putting up plastic barriers to seal off rooms and on the floor where ever anyone would be walking. They swept the patio after they were done as well. Everyone showed up on time and Luis was great with communication about when and who would be showing up. Any questions we had were followed up with an answer very quickly and many times Luis showed up at our house to talk in person so that he could see exactly what we were asking about. I appreciated the walkthrough meetings that we had so that we could get exactly what we wanted from the exact height of fixtures to where we wanted the toilet roll holder to be installed. Overall I am super happy with the process and how the bathroom turned out!

What made it even scarier was that my wife and our newborn were home when it happened. It was one of those moments where you immediately realize how serious the situation could have been. We later learned the AC unit in the attic wasn't draining condensation properly, so water had been pooling above the ceiling until it finally gave way. We were referred to Luis and gave him a call. He and his team stepped in quickly. They addressed the water damage, repaired the ceiling structure properly, and got the house back to move-in ready in under a month, which honestly exceeded our expectations given the extent of the damage. We also had a LOT of belongings to work around, and their team was extremely respectful of the rest of our home. They were careful about dust, debris, and protecting our things, and they kept the work area contained so the rest of the house stayed clean. Luis checked in with us often and shared progress updates throughout the repairs and that level of communication gave us confidence every step of the way that we chose the right contr. We're genuinely thankful for the care, workmanship, and timely execution. Tincopa Inc Construction is the kind of contractor you hope to find but rarely do, someone we truly trust and wouldn't hesitate to call again.

Allen was helpful and explained the different choices available. The entire consultation took roughly 30 minutes. We decided to keep the original concrete flooring and simply put a medium semi-gloss finish on top. We decided not to go with the epoxy flooring with speckles. After the consultation, we scheduled for the project to begin the following week. Armando gave me a friendly reminder call the day before and explained the process and timeframe for completing the job. The team showed up on time and did a great job prepping everything before getting started. Armando and his team were super kind and friendly throughout the entire process. Overall, it was a smooth and easy experience!

The back patio was 1970s looking brown pebble tec around the pool and patio area (which was fading and coming loose), and the side driveway was painted concrete which got super slippery in the rain. I wanted something textured that my kids wouldn't slip on, and I wanted to tie the whole house together with one uniform coating. Their crew worked really hard for us, and they really paid attention to detail. The painters were super neat, and the guys doing the coating were meticulous. It was a really big job, and it took a while to complete, but they kept at it and did it right. They've even come back a couple times to fix some little things that I messed up, or that happened through normal wear and tear. I will attach some before and after pics if I can find them, but in the meantime if you're considering resurfacing a patio, driveway, or other area, call these guys first. They'll take care of you.

I mentioned that I have two more big projects for them after this one. Doesn't look like Matt was interested and they left kinda in a rush without cleaning up much. It's a big job to live through, and they made it far easier than I expected. The quality of the work is excellent. The finishes are clean, the details are right, and the whole house feels transformed. The project took about three months, and they stayed on schedule the whole way, which says a lot for a job this size. What stood out most was how committed they were. A window I'd supplied myself arrived broken. That wasn't their problem to solve, but they took it on anyway, tracked down a replacement, and got it out fast so the project wouldn't stall. I paid them back for the window, but they did all the legwork, and that saved me a lot of time and stress. Communication was great from start to finish. I always knew what was happening and what was coming next. The crews also cleaned up after themselves every single day, which matters a lot when you're living in the house during a remodel. I'd recommend them to anyone planning a remodel, big or small.

Once the selections were made, paid for, appointments and schedules made, the work began. The crew who tore out the old flooring for our living and family rooms performed the demolition in a clean and neat manner. However, the crew made a gross error in that they tore out part of the old flooring from an adjoining guest bathroom, which was not part of the renovation project. The tile was gone and there was nothing that could done. They sanded the concrete where the old vinyl flooring laid and evened the concrete so the new wood would lay evenly. They then proceeded with the installatiion of the wood floor with much precision and expert manner. In almost 3 days the job was complete. They then applied some wax or gel film on to the wood floor. At the end of the day, it was obvious the crew was going to go home, as they thought the job was finished. However, I woud not allow them to leave until the wood floor with the wax or film was cleaned up and I asked them to clean up the floor as the floor was unacceptable that way. Their supervisor, an elderly with a heavy accent, arrived to collect payment for the job. I told him I was very displeased with the way the floor was looking with all the greasy waxy look. He said that was from the glue the guys used to glue down the engineered wood. I asked him to get the guys to clean up the waxy film on the wood. He said it was my job to clean that up. I told him I was not going to accept that it was my job to clean up the floor. He was unreasonable and rude. I would not recommend that supervisor. Fortunately, the young men who worked for him cared for the work they did. The wood floor was beautiful but we thought the job was expensive.
