The yep was really nice and overall I think he did a good job (the smell is a lot so I didn't get to really inspect yet) But before he left I pointed out that paint was removed from the walls. I took photos of the few that I could see before he sealed the room. When I called the company they said in the fine print there is a note that they are not responsible for any damage to the walls. I just had this bath redone so it's not an old paint issue! So now I'm going to pay $400 for a small bathtub to be reglazed and have to hire a painter to come out and smooth and repaint the walls. Needless to say shit customer service!!

To my pleasant surprise, he was able to accommodate me just two hours later on the same day. It was an added relief that the technician who had previously repaired my tub ten years prior arrived at our doorstep. Miguel performed the work with the same high standards as before. Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.

Just so everyone knows on here, this is only the second review I have ever written -- I take reviews VERY seriously. Daniel has done two projects for me. He did our concrete floors in our corporate office that came out amazing and he took on an impossible project at our home. I was told by four other concrete companies that you cannot stain flagstone. We bought our home and painted the house a different color, which then made the existing flagstone look hideous. In lieu of spending tens of thousands of dollars to replace it all, I circled back with Daniel to see if he had any ideas. Initially, he actually said, "I don't know, but let me call some manufacturers", which I appreciated. I was even more surprised when he called back that same day and said, "I found one that will work". Daniel literally applied the stain by hand with a paintbrush -- that is the level of quality you get with him. It turned out amazing.....way better than I had anticipated. From days spent grinding, sanding, and fixing various issues to the fantastic finished result, their professionalism and attention to detail shone through. WOW!!! Amazing service!! Daniel and his team are A+ Professionals. I had a 1,200 sq. ft. garage floor that was recently poured and It cracked everywhere and an inconsistent finish around the entire curbing. Decorative Concrete Concepts came in and fixed all of it. TLDR: I signed a contract for a project. Owner requested a deposit that was well above the max limit (10% of project cost or $1000, whichever is the least). I provided a deposit not knowing any of this. I terminated the agreement well before the owner and company set foot on my property. I repeat, NO WORK WAS ACTUALLY DONE! I requested a full refund based on agreements made through emails. Owner can't be bothered and hardly responds unless you escalate things to BBB, CSLB, or through Bond Insurance Claims. AND here we are today... On paper (yelp profile and company website) the owner is all lip service: "Built with integrity, high standards - 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed!" GTFOH with that! When he isn't busy posting personal IG stories of him getting surgery, covid, meal preps, or OOTD on his company's IG account, then he'll make some effort to mansplain how customer service works and how his non-registered salesman is providing me an education lesson of some sort. The owner really wanted me to believe he was also charging me for DESIGN WORK! TF, really? I provided my own illustration and design with my own design software. I provided annotations and inspo images to the non-registered salesman. The project was based off of my actual design work that I provided. AND you're going to say you provided me with a design? If anything, it was collaborative where I provided a design and ideas and your team fetched and updated quotes, BUT oh yah, you guys are the educators. Bruh, like I get that it's an inconvenience to you that I'm actually doing my own homework comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges. I get that less questions are better for you. Say less, right? All I'm trying to say is, if you want to charge me for "customer service" and "education lessons", state it upfront in your contract and not after everything is signed. No one on your side has bothered to explain or include verbiage in the agreement in regards to: - Missing notice regarding the CSLB - Missing notice of 3-5 Day Right to Cancel (or any cancellation for that matter) - Missing notice regarding general liability insurance. - Exceeding downpayment of $1,000 or 10% of project, whichever is least To all the potential clients or any consumers for that matter, be sure to DYOR! IMHO, you can DYOR at any stage of the process. Make sure to document, document, document!!! Keep records of everything. Create a timeline of events when planning a project with any company. You, as a consumer, have the right to question anything and have the right to keep other options open, unless stated in contract. If they have the right to refuse service, then you should have the right to terminate an agreement if no cancellation policy is explained or written in the contract. Good Riddance!
