I had booked them in mid-August of last year for my 2025 April wedding at Saratoga Springs. I had booked them based on their quote of approx $5500. Since it was an outdoor venue I asked for minimal decor and no mandap as we were not having a religious ceremony. When I began talking to Sania to finalize the decor approx 3 or 4 months before the wedding I also enquired about decor for a pre wedding event we were planning. However, in a couple weeks we were not able to continue with the pre wedding event as we were originally thinking and so we had to cancel the decor. There was no contract signed for this event. When I relayed this to Sania she responded rather aggressively and very rudely. Since then I could see a deterioration in communication and interest in my wedding. Another issue I encountered was lack of transparency in cost. When we were talking about ideas for the wedding decor Sania would not candidly tell the prices. She would only send an invoice at the end of the convo via email. She initially showed $18,000 on the invoice for the wedding after we brainstormed ideas. This was a huge jump for me from my original quote. I did expect some increase from the original quote but not over 3 times. She also did not do any brainstorming with me on ideas for decor or give any suggestions. I had to do all the work in finalizing everything. Even down to each and every candle we used. And if I left it to her she would put a huge amounts for everything and would increase prices subsequently. Finally, in order to reduce cost I let her know that I am open to using fake florals. She completely disregarded that multiple times or said that they don't use fake florals until randomly she suggested it herself. Very confusing. We ended up using a mix of real and fake florals. Overall Saba Decor was the most difficult vendor to work with. They should respect all their clients regardless of their budgets or should only take clients who are willing to spend a minimum of 15K on their budget. I have also heard from some community members in the Bay Area on how it has been difficult to work with Saba Decor and how they have to negotiate hard for fair prices. Unfortunately this was after I had already booked them.

Not only was she responsive, she would ask around if she didn't have the answer. The month before our big day, we had our meeting to go over details and timeline. She made sure to reach out to every single one of our vendors so everyone was on the same page. The week of the wedding was hectic for us, but she was made sure her timeline matched our photographer and everything was in place. I also had chargers that I wanted for every guest, and she made that happen! On our big day, she arrived to the venue at 2:30pm, so she could make sure all the vendors were there. When we arrived around 4pm, she made sure the bridal party knew what to do for the ceremony since we didn't have rehearsal the day before. She checked in with us throughout the night and gave us a heads up before the next agenda. She orchestrated the entire night so effortlessly that I felt at ease. She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.
