I found Jackie on Instagram because we were looking for a day of coordinator for our wedding. I messaged her the night before, and we had our phone conversation the next morning. My husband and I thought she was very professional and experienced since she was considered one of the listed vendors at our venue. I never made such an impulsive purchase, but I immediately asked for the contract and sent her the deposit that afternoon. One thing I liked about Jackie was the fact that I was able to text her anytime and any day if I had a question or needed something. Not only was she responsive, she would ask around if she didn't have the answer. The month before our big day, we had our meeting to go over details and timeline. She made sure to reach out to every single one of our vendors so everyone was on the same page. The week of the wedding was hectic for us, but she was made sure her timeline matched our photographer and everything was in place. I also had chargers that I wanted for every guest, and she made that happen! On our big day, she arrived to the venue at 2:30pm, so she could make sure all the vendors were there. When we arrived around 4pm, she made sure the bridal party knew what to do for the ceremony since we didn't have rehearsal the day before. She checked in with us throughout the night and gave us a heads up before the next agenda. She orchestrated the entire night so effortlessly that I felt at ease. If I could give Jackie more than 5 stars, I would! She was the best impromptu decision I've made throughout our entire wedding process. We were unsure if we needed a day-of coordinator for our wedding, but I'd recommend it for any future bride. Even more so, I'd recommend Jackie as your day-of coordinator. You can tell she's done so many weddings because she made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. She set up a prep call the month of our wedding and was really responsive for texts, zoom calls, etc. Jackie also followed up with all our vendors to make sure they signed the agreements that the venue required & were aware of the wedding timeline. Jackie was a complete life saver when it came to coordinating our wedding for my wife and I. I booked Jackie for my baby shower party 1 year ago. Because of Covid I canceled the party and I asked for refund ($100). She said I can use that money for future party . I booked her again in January 2022 for my my girls birthday party and conform the time , event , date every thing. Even what I want . She told me to contact her back in June 1 week. I been calling her for 2 week no reaping , no reply to text nothing. Finally I have up and found someone else to do the dessert for my party. Oh Happy Day has wonderful and tasty treats. I've ordered a cupcake sampler which featured 6 different cupcakes and some candy popcorn. All the cupcakes were moist and not too sweet. I've also ordered custom baked Despicable me Minion sugar cookies for my son's 2nd birthday party. The cookies were a hit with my guest. Jackie is as sweet as her desserts! We met once the week before my dad's birthday, which was Hawaiian theme, and she did a great job with keeping the theme alive throughout the table and desserts themselves. She made fish/palm tree sugar cookies, flamingo themed s'more pops, and little cupcakes with umbrellas in them. Being a college student, I had a limited budget, but that was no problem! When we got together, she worked with me to pick which desserts I wanted and how many so that it would work with my price range. My favorite part was the fruit platter with the palm tree centerpiece made of pineapples. My brother is not a fan of sweets, but when it came to the Nutella cupcakes, they were moist and made with just the right amount of chocolate to keep you craving for more. Oh Happy Day did a dessert table and snores bar at my 18th birthday. The table turned out to be exactly how I wanted it. She used her own tablecloths and decor for the table. It looked absolutely perfect. The actual desserts themselves we're delicious. The chocolate melted in my mouth, and left me wanting more after each bite.. The dessert table was EMPTY within A FEW MINUTES. Everyone loved it!! The snores table were a big hit as well! I also ordered two sampler cupcake boxes for my brother and I. My first taste of Oh Happy Day dessert was at a Christmas party last year. Cookies shaped as snowflakes and snowmen. They were delicious a cross between a shortbread cookie and sugar. This is a long overdue review from October 2015. We started our search for a wedding planner pretty late in the game because Mr. was never convinced we needed one. Mrs. was more realistic and a better judge of the situation so she pushed for it. Mr. talked to Jackie on the phone and when she gave him an overview of what she would actually handle on the big day, Mr. finally realized all the things he would hate to have been responsible for. This was when we signed on with Jackie. Jackie was amazingly patient with us and simply the most accommodating person we could have hoped for. She had all the right ideas, gave us excellent suggestions and helped us come up with a game plan that would work for us. What really appealed to us was that she was super organized while still incredibly flexible. She used Google Docs/emails in addition to phone calls during the planning process, which worked so well with our crazy schedules. Finally, on the big day, our vision and hers came together for the first time and we were so relaxed knowing she was there. We basically forgot our own schedule and let her guide us from one step to the next, which let us truly enjoy our night without stressing about what was to come next. We had an absolutely fantastic time, just two big kids being guided through the amusement park ride. Jackie handled our guests, parents, food, vendors, giveaways, leftovers, cleanup, and a million other things that we didn't know about. We heard from our parents later how she helped them with this, that, and the other thing, all while being within a moment's notice of the bride and groom. And then, as if that wasn't enough, Jackie took care of a bunch of other details. No cake for cutting? Made it (so tasty, too!). No florals? Arranged them (including bridal bouquet!). No signs for the tables? Made them (of course we forgot that!). In one word: Superwoman. Thanks so much for being there with us during the wild ride Jackie. Jackie's cupcake creations are delicious. We got her strawberries and cream as well as red velvet cupcakes for our baby shower today. They were a hit. Jackie was very easy to work with and also very flexible. When we got a lot of last minute cancellations (boo) to the party, she was accommodating with decreasing the size of our order. The cupcakes were moist and sweet, but not TOO sweet. Also, her prices were very reasonable and the plastic box that the cupcakes come in was very nice. We could have even just displayed the cupcakes in that box if we didn't already have a cupcake tier ready. I absolutely loved everything. I found out about OhHappyDay through yelp. She has great reviews and I decided to contact her to inquire about a wedding bouquet. I was relieved that we could communicate through text and emails because I wasnt sure I could schedule a meeting with her. I had only intended to have 2 bouquets and 2 boutinnieres made. I was able to send her picture of what I wanted and she assured me that she could replicate them. She answered everything in a timely manner, and even gave me some advice which led me to also getting 13 centerpieces made by her. I wanted to make them myself but i told her it was stressing me out and she adviced me to let her do it because on that day i was going to have enough going on, and was she right! I had already purchased the glassware and she agreed to use them. Her arrangements were beautiful and full , my bouquet was amazing! I was able to make a payment through paypal which was awesome and the day of the wedding she came right on time. It was pouring rain and she came in a happy helpful mood. What i loved most about her is that she had some leftover flowers and asked me if i would like some scattered rose petals and i agreed. It was so beautiful. Jackie is AMAZING! She helped with day of coordinator and florist for our wedding this month. I found her from my brother's wedding. I saw how smooth everything went and how easy it was for them. I knew that when I got married I wanted her to help with the big day. She is very easy to communicate with and she goes above and beyond.
