Don't do it. Got a small chip repaired (my first on this windshield) and now I have a crack across my windshield that is still growing. This appears to be a money grab and the techs don't know what they're doing. The second tech tried to stop the crack from extending and it has grown an extra 6 inches beyond what the small chip crack started. By fall I'll have to replace the entire windshield. Customer service doesn't respond!!!! Is this what CEO Matt Horne had in mind? Screwing customers out of any recourse and damaging windshields beyond any other choice than to replace it? Guy was nice enough but geez $140 for one chip repair, didn't call the insurance to see if they'd cover it. Didn't mention what he did. I don't even know if work was done or not. It looks the same. Since I have left this review on yelp, I have also responded to the customer service email voicing my concern, experience, and request for a refund nearly 14 days ago. I have yet to hear back from anyone from this company regarding a resolution. I now have a larger crack in my windshield because the technicians did not do their job. I have no interest in visiting one of their Mobile repair centers for the third time! It's obvious the business owner cares about his business enough that he is monitoring these yelp reviews. I attended one of DECO Repair Tents at Southgate Mall in Edmonton. While fixing a chip in my windshield, the technician cracked my windshield. When I reached out to DECO they refused to compensate me, and told me that a cracked windshield was a "common occurrence" when chips are fixed. If I could give negative stars then I would. read more

Careful, there may be an auto renewal if you use Deco which the fixer may not tell you about. I was not informed at the time when my tiny chip was fixed. Too high a price to pay. I'd give zero if I could! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Deco Windshield Repair in Edmonton. I was coerced into signing up for a plan by an inexperienced person who repaired an irreparable crack, which he shouldn't have bothered repairing. Later, I went to get another chip repaired by a different person, and they explained that I should never have been sold the package in the first place. I received a partial refund, but I should have been given a full refund, as there is no reason to use their service now since I have to replace my windshield. If this company were honest, I should never have been sold the package in the first place! I've sent 2 e-mails to the company in hopes of getting some help with this matter, and have not received a single reply from them. Disappointing way to do business. read more

I would give a negative score. I went in for a small chip at the Bowmanville Ontario location and dealt with Omar. He ended up cracking my windshield about 15 inches with three new chips in the windshield. this is today June 20, 2025. I spoke with a manger named Brenden Brown and I called the help line essentially being told they will not do anything to fix my windshield. I was advised that they have and would never replace a windshield that they have damaged. That I had warranty on their work and there is nothing that they would or could do for me. the kids father came to the location and started threatening us and screaming at us where we considered calling the police. THEY WRECKED MY TESLA!! Total disaster!!! Pulled up to pop up tent at Cambridge Mall. Nice repair guy told me it would take about 10 minutes to fix a small chip. Poor guy not properly trained on Teslas. I come back it's not fixed yet but he is working on it. I get in car. Climate control automatically acitivates. As he is working on the small chip an 18 inch crack develops. Blames tesla AC for temp difference. Feels bad for not telling me to turn off climate control. Takes full responsibility but next two layers of management will do nothing then say he fixed the 18 inch crack for free. The crack is still there right in front of the passengers view. Total disaster. They should replace the windshield. I wish I had seen these reviews. read more

If there is a 0 I would love to choose instead of 1 for rating. Absolutely no customer service at all. Young employees at tents are alone and busy without proper tools or support or proper training. Went with a brand new car had only a small chip and this shop was not spreading to bay location in 99 street. After the treatment that chip ended up by spreading one way to the right. Went for another fill in and not longer that same chip cracked the other direction Thursday cost and still creamer to left further. Few month later another chip happened, went to south common location the employee had a massive line up and I went at 1:20 left around 4 pm and his drill died while working and next morning the chirp cracked my windshield till the end. Yesterday, April 9th, a new chip happened and I went right away to South common location around 5 pm left almost 6 and again the drill was not charged and left without receiving service and that small chip today is cracked in 3 directions, one to the end of the windshield. I believe I have a right to a new windshield and DECO pays for it. read more

Upon finding out how Deco operates, I cancelled this "renewal" within 24 hours after I had a small chip "repaired in August, 2022 at the Namao tent. Fast forward now to the end of October 2024. I get a memo regarding a "hiccup"-Deco claims they hadn't charged me for the past year but would resume my plan and charge me accordingly for the upcoming year. After WASTING my valuable time on the phone, I thought it had been resolved, only to find a repeat of the company's ineptitude and incompetence. 1- I took my Toyota Camry 2021 to the mobile service at Yonge and Steels location on the May 15, 2024. There were two tiny chips on my wind screen I ask are your services reliable I don't want to spoil my wind screen, he said I will fix both. He started and fixed one on the centre of screen and then started to fix the second chip on top of screen as he worked on the screen cracked for about three to four inches and didn't mention it on invoice and didn't give any warranty. I had gone to Ajax Location(30 Kingston Rd West) to fix my windshield glass. There was a small crack of approx 1 inch. While fixing the glass, they pushed the glass so hard that the crack increased to 6". Not trained professionals. I would not recommend anyone to go there. Bad service , bad experience. read more

Not only that but also managed to find my new credit card number, again without my approval. AMA Promotes membership with DECO windshield repair. I had my windshield 2 chips repaired and purchased AMA Annual plan in May 2022 for $94.50 (they were set up in Northeast Edmonton Superstore parking lot, I have the receipt). In April 2023 I received an e-mail from DECO stating my annual AMA membership was almost over and would be charged May 10, which they did charge $62.95 on my credit card May 10 (DECO sent receipt stating it was good until May 10, 2024). I did not sign up or agree to be automatically charged. They did it anyway and I trusted DECO because they are associated with AMA. Who knows I might need another windshield chip repair. Then DECO sent me another e-mail last week August 17 stating DECO is charging me another $62.95 for same AMA membership (Which they did on my credit card) ! I have emailed them several times for refund of the second charge, no response, I called and sat on Hold for 20 minutes when they disconnected me, and still no refund of the 2nd/double charge. It is the worst vendor I have come across so far. I had to repair my windshield as the next day I had to go out of the country. The price was higher at $65, others were ready to do the same job at $40.As it was Sunday others were closed and I had a flight the next morning so I decided to get the job done by DECO in the parking lot of Canadian Tire, Richmond Square, 5200 Richmond Rd SW, Calgary. I offered payment through Credit card, Apple Pay, and E-transfer but the technician-Nick refused he said he only takes cash. It was evening and was closing I showed him my morning flight ticket. I told them I needed to buy a few more things so I could not go and come back with cash when I am back in Calgary I will pay you but he was adamant and said he would tell his manager. He called the manager and the manager asked him to threaten me that I would have to deal with the police, I felt like after repair I had done the crime, and even after sharing all my details with them, they kept bothering me. I could not pay as it was late evening when I came back I paid and called the Manager Jack Heywood and suggested you should accept another payment mode to avoid this situation, I was expecting he would apologize but he was firm that what they did was right and did not even say once that we will look into this issue and improve the process. In June 2023, I brought a vehicle fir windshield repair at the Orleans, ON location. On June 4th, 2024 a charge appeared on my credit card for $79.04 which I didn't agree too. I've been trying to call DECO to request a credit and just put on hold forever until a recording comes up and says that I'm calling outside of business hours... 1:00 pm MST. Tried emailing a few times. Looking at the BBB this seems to be a common practice that they bill your credit card after 1 year. I will be going to the BBB with a formal complaint.
