I was told the car would be done in 3 days, and it took 5. I was told that it would be polished, but it wasn't. Like many, and thankfully not all businesses, what they say they would do, and when it would be done, didn't match up, and no effort was put in to make up for their lack of honesty. This is an update after reading Royal's Auto Body comment from June 15, 2018. Manbinder, You have absolutely no idea what are you talking about. Lying. making up stories and putting down people around is not the way to go. Like always you make no sense - you should remember that people in Canada are much smarter and soon or later they will see who you really are. You are trying to change people's attention and blame everybody else for your own actions. You are blaming Yelp and your employees for your own crazy, horrible business attitude - this is really funny. You are the owner and in the end you are the one responsible for running this terrible body shop. After an accident in the Starbucks parking lot, I was referred to Royal Auto Body by my mom who had used them multiple times in the past. I was very happy with the quote I received as well as how quickly the job was done. After getting the dent repaired I came by with another vehicle to get rust repaired. The owner, Manny, will assure you that you will be completely looked after at his body shop. This is merely talk. I originally had the entire front end, rear gate and new rear bumper installed and painted on my Lexus. The job was not completed on time, (1 week late) There was complete inattention to detail, with overspray from bad masking in several places. When I picked up the vehicle, Manny took me directly to my vehicle and pointed out that my headlight mounting was broken on arrival, so they had glued it back together at no cost. I disputed the mounting having come in broken, as I had personally replaced that headlight with an entirely new module 1 month earlier. The fix seemed to be holding well so I didn't dispute any further. Upon further inspection at home, I discovered overspray in several areas and returned to the body shop to show Manny. I had highlighted each instance with a small piece of green masking tape. Manny was very friendly and assured me that all problems would be corrected if I brought the vehicle back the next week and left the vehicle for 1 day. On picking up the vehicle, the major spots had been corrected but several instances were still present. About a month later, it became apparent that the paint had begun to peel from my rear bumper. Manny was completely agreeable and stated the rear bumper would be repainted at his expense. He again took much longer than promised and even though I pointed out the missed spots of overspray from the original job, they were not corrected. Again, after approximately 2 months, the paint on the bumper began peeling again. I returned the vehicle and he gladly agreed to repaint it again. This time I think it took 3 days. When I dropped off the vehicle, I requested that Manny personally inspect the work and have any deficiencies corrected before calling me to pick up the vehicle. When I finally was called to pick up the vehicle, (after 2 more instances of the vehicle not being ready at the designated time), I inspected the vehicle upon arrival at the body shop. I could tell that the bumper had been repainted but something looked odd about it. On thinking about it further, I noticed that the rubber decking on the top of the bumper was missing. I went in and told the receptionist about this and Manny's foreman came out and spoke to me, advising that there had NEVER been a rubber on top of the bumper. I strongly disputed and requested that Manny be contacted so I could speak to him personally on the phone. I spoke with Manny and told him how extremely disappointed I was with the quality control coming from his shop and that the foreman was trying to tell me the rubber never existed. Manny asked to speak to his foreman, who took the phone, listened for a moment and then requested my keys. 45 minutes later, the vehicle was brought around front again, lo and behold, with the bumper strip (which they said never existed), installed. It has been about 3 months since that last occasion I had the vehicle repaired at Royal. I recently discovered that the paint is yet again, peeling off. To make matters worse, I also discovered that this could not have been a new bumper cover installed, as a poorly done repair became apparent on the top surface of the bumper. I give up. I do not understand how this body shop is a "CAA approved" body shop, as nothing they do is ever done correctly and they will happily assure you everything will be remedied and then make no effort to follow through on their commitments. read more

I called at the last minute to get a fiberglass repair done on a friends truck canopy and these guys went way above and beyond to accommodate me. Super happy with the service, fast and courteous. I would definitely recommend that you check these guys out if you need work done. read more

Do not trust these people! This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They told me after a couple days that the parts were ordered. After a couple weeks of Royal Auto body having my vehicle, I started calling to try to get an update. Their voicemail was always full and the phone was only answered twice in about 30 calls. The two times it was answered, the guy told me he would have someone return my call. That never happened. After a week of calling continuously with no response, I drove there and had to have the vehicle towed to another auto body shop. They lied from the very beginning and were trying to lie to me again the day I showed up in person. The guy finally admitted that the parts had not even been ordered! He said that the owner was on vacation and they couldn't order parts. Very sketchy. read more

GREAT EXPERIENCE AND GREAT WORK My vehicle was repaired here through my insurance company. The entire front end was damaged (hood, grille and decal). When I picked it up it looked brand new! Even the 3m film was replaced. I've had a good experience with the staff and the work done on my vehicle was excellent. I would recommend this shop in the future. read more

Someone test drove my truck and crashed into a concrete divider in a parking lot and damaged the crossmember I took it to another shop and the estimate was $1300 -1500 to repair the frame and replace a bunch of parts so Brought my pickup to see these guys to get a second opinion. The estimator said he didn't think it needed any frame repair and recommended I go to a tire shop down the road and get an alignment first his to make sure and Turned out that was all it took. He saved me a lot of money and time. I can't speak for the quality of their work but I appreciate his honesty. read more

Manny the owner really takes care of his customers, he goes the extra mile. He tries to save you money wherever he can and asked me to come in after a month to get the work I had done double-checked as they guarantee all their work. The receptionist and other staff were friendly. Nothing bad to say, would recommend this body shop to anyone needing auto body repair. read more
