Took my older car to them after scraping the quarter panel badly on a yellow barrier at the bank. Came out of the shop looking good, nice paint match but they're always busy so it took about 2 weeks longer than quoted. Not even one year later the quarter panel has quite bad bubbling under the paint all along the upper wheel arch where they repaired it. Graham said its rust and its not his fault so no warranty. My car has only ever been driven in 2 winters and had no rust at all before the repair. Everyone I've shown it to thinks they should have fixed it and I feel the same. To all of us it was a failed repair. Sorry to say it ended up being a bad experience for me and I can no longer recomend going there. read more

I had to get my bumper replaced on my Toyota corolla sport and because it's a sport it's had a little trim added to bumper a bit more work but when I got it back it was washed and cleaned and bumper was better then expected !!! they did a fantastic job !!!! and they were pleasant to deal with very kind and helpful. no bs !! This place is the definition of honest and professional. I had paint work done 7 years ago with cougar, and the paint was beginning to chip off on the bumper (it was due to a paint defect and fortunately covered under warranty) but even prior to figuring that out Gord was willing to re-do the work, even though he had no obligation to do so. I had some sublet work done on my truck that I had purchased through city ford ! my tail gate got smashed in and the handle was crushed , this was due to the lot maintenance guy backing my truck into a pole , should be a simplified repair ? what a nightmare it took three times for cougar to get the wrong latch finally i had enough I went to ford and ordered it myself. And to top it off the tale gate was fixed like shit let's paint the whole thing with bondo ! What a joke do not take anything to this place ! Cougar Paint & Collision kindly took in my battered vehicle after it was rammed into last month by a careless jerk who apparently doesn't believe in yield signs. I picked up the old boy today and he was as good as new. The people at Cougar were friendly, pleasant and extremely easy to deal with, keeping me updated as to what was going on with my car and getting the work done in as timely a matter as I could ask for. Best of all, they've got one of the coolest-looking shops in town, complete with scruffy orange and black cat that solicits customers for a quick scratch. Too cute! read more

I dealt with Gord and not only was he so kind, personable & honest, he figured out a way to fix my broken Lexus SUV spoiler when other shops told me it couldn't be done. Keeping in mind that I didn't actually have my repairs done here, just a quote: Cougar Collision was very professional and upfront about the cost of my repairs and what alternatives were available to me. Essentially I had minor bumper damage and it was explained to me that for damage that minor, I would be better off taking it to a small damage repair shop rather than replacing the entire bumper and repainting which is what they would do, or having someone try to buff out the damage and repaint it, which would cost more labor hours. Overall even though I didn't have my repairs done here, it was a good experience. There's also a cute dog that comes to greet you! read more

Excellent service! They ordered and painted the parts early so they could do the repairs to my truck in one day. Work is perfect and it looks as good as new! Also they quoted $1000 cheaper than Boyd and Carstars, and the price was even cheaper once the repairs were done! Definitely worth every penny I will always recommend these guys! read more

I called a few places around town to see where to take my car in, and while this place doesn't have a super nice website or anything, it had a good review and the lady on the phone was super nice, so I took it in. All I had to do was drop in and they gave me a free estimate (one other place I called couldn't get me in for a week, just for an estimate!!) I came from work so I was dressed up in heels and stuff, and at first I kinda felt uncomfortable like I was overdressed (it kinda seems like a biker place) but I sat down at the owners desk and he took my info and came out to look at the car and created an estimate for me, one to fix it all up nice and new, and one for the bare bones minimum I had to fix it so it's safely drivable. They were really friendly and while I'm still shopping around for estimates, I would recommend this place so far. read more

I recently had both my vehicles into Cougar Collision for repair (hit one with the other on my driveway - don't ask......there was a dog involved). This shop is not the "McDonalds" of body shops, they are highly skilled crew who know their business and do it well. I was especially thankful for their dealing with my insurance company and making my ordeal the least stressful on me. Both my Renegade and Escape were restored to pristine condition and as a huge bonus were fully detailed when I picked them up. Cougar is a locally owned family business who supports our community and I feel good that I was able to support their business. Their office and shop is pretty cool also. COUGAR COLLISION IS HORRIBLE NEVER GET A PAINTJOB HERE. I paid top dollar (6 grand )!!!! for a cream colored paint job two years ago. Within the first month i went back four times for them to fix the mistakes i noticed. Two years later, rusting, and chipping in all the bad spots. Even though my trucks always washed and stored indoors.. This shows the poor work ethic, quality, and professionalism that the owner and staff greatly lack. More than dissapointed by what they have done to my vehicle. I can only warn you not to get a paint job here or you will greatly regret it. read more

Complete scammers. I had to pay for damages to a vehicle. As far as I was concerned there were no damages. I called numerous times over a month and the repairs were never done. I looked into it more and found that they charged me triple the actual cost of the repairs. I called back and demanded my money back since no repairs were ever done and they were unable to contact the party who needed the repair. This was the end of the day Friday. I was told to call Monday to arrange for the payment. Amazing I called Monday and was told even though I cancelled the repair the other party showed up and claimed he needed no repairs so they gave my money to him. read more
