4 dozen mini cupcakes to share for my hubby's bday... matcha berry, carrot cake (no nuts) and 2 chocolate flavors.. enjoyed by all.
    Jennifer L.

I've gotten macarons from here before and they're always delicious.. when I knew I wasn't ordering a birthday cake to share at an event, I ordered mini cupcakes... they were packaged perfectly!!!! Everything tasted delicious. Oh yeah, I also got an iced berry matcha and it was delish... I'll be back. Everyone working was super friendly and helpful. Great space!!!

This is still one of my favorite local downtown Hillsboro business and I always recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spot with great coffee, baked goods, and a charming hangout spot. However I was very disappointed specifically with the special 16th anniversary box that was not actually the anniversary box. My friend and I decided to have brunch here and ordered the prettiest drinks (her a banana tiramisu latte and me an iced blackberry matcha) both were as delicious as they were photogenic. The egg sandwich with bacon was the perfect savory dish. The red pepper gravy had a unique creamy taste, but we did wish the gravy itself was warmed up along with the fluffy biscuits. The service was pleasant but not overly friendly. We did enjoy sitting by the window in this quint house cafe near the mantel. On our way out, we picked up the anniversary treat box we ordered and did not open until we got home. At first I was happy with the full size pastries we got (my friend got the same thing) although some of the pastries were slightly burnt. Then another friend picked up the same anniversary box that weekend and sent me a picture and it was completely different and was the actual promised special treats box. It did not click for me until I saw the difference (newborn trenches brain...) especially after I give away some of pastries to friends too that what I got was not the anniversary box. It was still a very great deal for all those pastries that they have everyday in the shop so I am grateful for the deal, but I was still disappointed since I'm not sure why this happened. I will continue to support this awesome local business but for next year's anniversary box I will be sure to double check.

What a cute little place! Nestled right in the heart of downtown, amazing vibes in a cute house. Unfortunately all the donuts were sold out by the time we reached. But the lemon cupcake was amazing! Passion fruit scone could have had a little bit more passion fruit flavor but the poppy seeds gave a great taste. The pistachio pound cake latte was nothing to write home about. Service was fast enough.

    Delicious with chocolate made in-house!

What a lovely place! After seeing the Yelp reviews and pictures, I was really excited. I purchased a fancy brownie and an iced mocha. It was in-house made chocolate... but it was made with regular milk. That is the downside.I don't like the flavor of milk. The brownie was unusual and definitely decadent! Come inside to relax, study, or visit with family and friends. The staff was very kind and helpful. You will definitely find a sweet treat in their cases. Something for everyone and I'm sure of that! On a beautiful day like this, you can come outside and enjoy your purchases. They have picnic tables on the grass and small tables on the porch. Thanks for everything!

    Green Machine sandwich.

This place has always been THE place for the best baked goods and the Lady Jane breakfast sandwich but they no longer serve it. I then started ordering the green machine. I miss the petite and delicious sandwich. I don't know what bread this is but it's not what I expected, nor the burntness. LMAO Is there a new owner?

Still my favorite cafe in Hillsboro - savory food and desserts are so yummy. Service is always friendly and professional. Today was very rainy, so the indoor ambiance/seating and coziness was definitely appreciated - and it's nice that they are open till 6pm.

Loved the 1910 ambiance of the old house. Such a sweet house to create a sweet bakery. Bustling with customers partaking in goodies! My husband had the ham & salami baguette & I had the egg salad 1/2. & a cattot cake cupcake Both so tasty. Then ready for a walk downtown.

    Honey Salt Pie
    Stephanie S.

I went in to grab two Salt & Honey pies and came out with a few more tasty treats. The honey salt pie has such a unique flavor and my family loves it so much. I bought one of these pies to drop off at my clients for their closing of their home since it was a bitter sweet sale and move. I have attempted to make this pie and its a very delicate balance that can go either way if you don't do one of the steps correctly. Well, I'll just leave it to the experts at Decadent creations and just swing by for a pie pick up as needed. Thank you for always being so kind especially when I'm indecisive with all your amazing options.

The house in Hillsboro is really adorable. I ordered the Smokey Robinson cookie which had chocolate and smoked nuts, as well as a salted toffee mocha. The service is always great, and the workers give great advice about what to order. My partner ordered the bacon potato salad and really enjoyed it. Not too bland as potato salad can be.

    Too cute to eat!

Second time ordering from Decadent Creations. Online order was easy and pick up was a breeze. Friendly service. We had requested Totoro Themed cupcakes for a birthday and props to the artist they hit it out of the ball park. Our friends and family did not want to eat the cupcakes because everyone said it was too cute! Cake and cupcakes were delicious per usual. You know when the dessert is a hit when family and friends ask for seconds or to take home. We will definitely be ordering more cakes from here! Thank yo

    Banana tiramisu latte

Always such a treat when we stop by! Tried their banana tiramisu latte and their horchata donut latte, both were so good and not overly sweet. Food was amazing and so was the staff.

At this point I've tried a number of things here and every one of them were delicious! The Japanese pancakes were so fluffy and fun, called ahead just to make sure they could make them right after opening but couldn't get through. THEY CALLED ME BACK IMMEDIATELY!! I have never had a food place care enough to actually call back if they miss a call. I was so happy with the pancakes too, nicely made and yummy. Their tiny cakes are all perfect too, I'm in love with each one especially the PDX rose! So bright and flavorful, with a beautiful outside that matches its taste! Can't forget the Japanese Cream Cheese Bun, it's soooooo good and the price matches the taste (aka good price for a good dessert). Not too sweet but still delicious! Just gotta make sure you eat it fresh, forgot to eat my last one for an hour and it got dry but still had its yummy taste. I super recommend this place!!

I added breakfast to this place while they visited me for a few days. We called in our order as instructed on the website. Unfortunately no Boba was available for on the pancakes. When we arrived I was disheartened to find the place rather small either intense heat of a bakery, which made the lone table inside with a meandering fly the least bit welcoming. When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

I tend to pick from the shelf-stable pastries since for some reason whenever I visit it is always hot. That means I have to skip at the cake/pastry case even though the desserts look so tantalizing. My favorites are: Kare pan: House made beef curry inside of a deep fried donut coated with panko. I don't understand how it's possible for this creation to remain crispy even though it's stored at room temperature instead of the more usual warming lamps. The curry is thick and has generous chunks of beef and vegetables. The bread isn't really "donut" per se since that brings to mind something sweet with a tender crumb. It's more of a fried bread dough that's deliciously chewy. Bacon and blue cheese mini epi: Épis de Blé is a bread that looks like a sheaf of wheat that is very similar to a baguette. Their take has a chewier crumb and crust instead of a shattering crispy outside as with a traditional bread of this type. The cheese and bacon make this such a luxurious bread. They don't use the shelf stable bacon; they use the good stuff so it adds a great texture to the bread. It's not heavy in blue cheese flavor, so even though I don't like blue cheese, I still adore this bread.

Mainly due to one INCREDIBLY rude employee, who i am going to assume is the manager, or something close, considering she was the only one in plain clothes, and not in a uniform or server outfit. This woman was an absolute walking nightmare. First off, we came in around 1pm. Mind you, this location closes at 3pm. So immediately, after we walked in, we stood there for a good minute or so before one of the FIVE employees, including nightmare manager lady, who were standing on, in or around the front counter ask "table for two?".. as the manager slowly grabbed our menus to hand to the server, i immediately noticed she had an attitude. Almost like she was annoyed we were coming to eat.. I shook it off, we sat down. We had our small dog in a stroller, so we had asked to eat outside. The outside area was busy. It is a sunny 70+ degree day so we asked for as much shade as we could get. The server pointed us towards a table with one half completely in the sun. We pointed to the 3-4 tables behind us that were in full shade. The server said they just closed that section. Umm ok, but, not the severs fault that the available tables were in the sun.. so, ok, no problem. We sat down. It took our server a while to get to us, but she was hustling and doing very her best. When she got to us she was gracious and very friendly. She was also very accommodating when we ask for our meal to be split to share. I wish i had gotten her name because she was the only nice part of our experience today and she was a lovely young lady. So, as we waited for our food, my mother was getting uncomfortable in the direct sun. I offered to switch seats, but she just tried to move her chair more to the side, towards the inner isle. Nightmare manager whips out of the door and VERY rudely, and loudly, barks at my 74yr old mother "mam, that's just not going to work! It's too narrow in here!" Everyone looked at us as she yelled this at my mother. At this point, most of the tables outside were emptying. So i said "could we maybe switch tables? She's just very uncomfortable in the sun." this nightmare of a human throws her hand up at us, like IN OUR FACES, and in a very annoyed voice says "you gotta give me a minute " and darts past us. We were floored. My mom and I look at each other like "huh?!?" There is now very few people left in the entire restaurant, inside or out. So it was pretty clear it was less about being busy and more that she was simply in "i want to close up and go home" mode. But hey, food service can be stressful, i get that. What i don't get is yelling at customers like they're your five year old. At this point the servers are wiping down the tables and stacking chairs. Mind you, it's only been roughly 20 min. So it's about 1:30pm.. again, they close at 3pm. But they were all clearly in shut down mode.. So when nightmare manager lady doesn't come back, we asked another server if we could move. She looks around at the empty tables, that are now 100% in the shade, and is like "ummmmmmmm, sure?" I said "great!" Got up and move to the shadiest table. Then nightmare manager whips outside again, and, as we are picking up our our silverware and water cups, this woman shoves next to my mom, who fumbling with her water glass, purse and silverware, and begins wiping the table down before we even retrieved our things. She says nothing to us. Her body language was aggressive and she was obviously very annoyed. Annnnnd that's when I called it. We hadn't even received our food. We got up and left, while I chipped "you can tell them to just throw our food away. You've been incredibly rude and we're done" and we left. This woman ruined a lovely Sunday afternoon i was spending with my mother. She was annoyed and rude the second we interacted with her. She may be stressed out, but to treat customers with such obvious distain, is unacceptable. This woman clearly can't handle the pressure.. so i HIGHLY recommend they get her out of the kitchen, LITERALLY! To this nightmare woman, i am so sorry we annoyed you with our business today. Don't worry, we will not be back..
