    Asparagus & jamón

This was our favorite restaurant once upon a time so we were excited to see it reopen. When I make comparisons here I will not be trying to hold them to actual Spain, but at least to a general understanding of the dishes, & to their previous performance. ambiance is great, flamenco dancing playing above the bar silently while good flamenco music plays at a volume that makes conversation easy; our waiter was prompt, friendly, & knowledgeable. wine menu is fine. dishes were very hit or miss. Gambas Ajillo are a staple of tapas, typically with sherry or paprika, this was just garlic shrimp. aguacate was fine, ceviche with it was better, tortilla strips were the best part of that dish. We say pulpo is never the wrong answer... but this was nearly impossible to chew and the flavor was more "burnt" & less "smoked", we sent it back. We got the specials instead: fried oysters had a HARD crust but was mush inside, not appetizing. But the rellenos were beautiful! Last we got the asparagus wrapped in jamón, which was very good. Overall, we will go give them another shot, but we'll wait a while for them to figure it out and we won't be getting any seafood.

The just had their grand opening after completing a remodel and the place looks amazing and the location is perfect. Just west of downtown but still in walking distance. The staff is friendly and the menu is filled with so many delicious options to pick from.

Amazing food, friendly service, cozy place, presentation is amazing, but let's go back to the food... Chef Obed Salinas hits a home run!!! I am not an expert by any means, but I can personally say it's the best Spanish food I've had in New Mexico and many other places, including the famous place in Santa Fe (I prefer to not mention that one place) the flavor, the aroma, the presentation! It hits all senses!! The Paella de Mariscos was the best!! The tapas excellent!! The deserts, simple yet perfect!! The flan has a fruit flavor that is soft and delicious! The crema Catalan is like a cream brûlée yet better!!! I highly recommend this place!!

Debajo James, Brooke, James, Brooke who do I love the most? You two and Jacqueline made our visit so much fun! Hard working but still had time to smile and chat. Your personality are excellent. We had lots of different small plates and our two favorites, the shrimp, and scallops but everything was perfect. A lot of great flavors and it was like a circus in my mouth, lol, they also had a good Spanish wine list. I WOULD RECOMMEND

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Tapas is my favorite type of restaurant and this is the best place I've had in the U.S. Kennedy helped us out and she was phenomenal and hilarious! The chef even came over to introduce herself. I tried the Poblano Flameado which was phenomenal, the pinchos were so cheesy and drool worthy, we got the Gambas A La Plancha, and again best shrimp I've had in a long time. The Higos y Barriga was delicious, strong in taste of fig balsamic. I lastly ordered the Manchen Frito, I personally enjoyed it but it was an interesting combination with the guava which some of my party didn't love. Either way, I absolutely this place will certainly come back. A little pricey but for a night out or date night it's worth it

Without a doubt the best tapas in ABQ. The sea food paella is outstanding! The tapas dishes were unique and flavorful.

I saw green chartreuse on the shelf and asked if the server knew of a green with envy, he didn't so I asked a "last word" substitute bourbon for gin, server scoffed made a face at me and asked if I was sure. I was, I know my favorite drink and how to order it as green chartreuse is a favorite. Food order was about another 20 minutes. I got the smash-burger, which came out cold and the meat was gritty and tough like it had been precooked and warmed up. Another member of our group ordered an old fashioned which they couldn't make because they were out of something... strange a bar that can't produce an old fashioned?? My drink was $27 and total bill $41 for a burger and drink served rudely. $27 for a mixed drink in Albuquerque is pretty steep. I wouldn't have minded the cost if service and quality were good. Too bad, the environment and decor was nice. Menu seemed simple but creative but quality on the plate didn't make it worth it.

Probably enough for a party of 6 who want to have a little bread with some delicious toppings. We also had the hamachi, which was amazing! And the mixed greens salad was really fresh with a lovely dressing. For entrees we had the dumplings with shrimp added. The dumplings were ok but the rest of the dish was really delicious. I would have taken more bok choy and more chili oil! The burger was also really good (as were the fries). Also very, very big. We did not finish our entrees because they were so generously portioned. We could not (and glad we did not!) forgo dessert so we tried the chocolate tahini tarte. You must have this if you like chocolate!! Laurie, our server, was so wonderful! The ambience is very nice and I loved that the tables are not jam packed in. Try this place! It's worth it!

Located in Old Town, we love the setting, the energy, and the overall vibe. The staff is always attentive and accommodating, and tonight was no exception. Our server, Joe T., along with the wait assistants, delivered a seamless and memorable evening of hospitality. We began with the signature calamari served with fire-roasted salsa, along with the lump crab cake and pork belly starters. Every plate was wiped clean and absolutely delicious. For dinner, we enjoyed the braised pork shank, Parmesan-crusted chicken breast, seared Chilean sea bass, and the handmade butternut squash and four-cheese ravioli. Each dish was exceptional, full of flavor, and served with perfect accompaniments. Our wine selections and cocktails went well with the entrées. By the end of the meal we were completely satisfied and opted to pass on dessert until proprietor and owner Keith surprised us with house-made truffles.
