The Tajine was a delectable and we loved the presentation of it in the traditional clay pot. It had slow cooked vegetables (carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, etc) and was partially sweet with dates. But the highlight was the Moroccan mint tea, served traditionally in glasses and poured from high up. I haven't had tea that good in awhile (and yes I go to the Teahouse). The hubby ordered the chicken breast kabob with south of the border chicken. I got the boneless lamb kabob. With our orders came a surprise Kurdish soup with lentils, fideos, and Kurdish spices. First, the bread and soups were simple yet familiar, powerful, and delicious. The lamb was tender, well seasoned, and delightful. Now, the south of the border chicken breast was an amazing surprise; it was juicy, tender, a bit spicy, and absolutely perfect. The rice was another great example of simplicity and beauty.
