I also bought my birthday cake here, and I know it's going to be a happy memory. Great desserts, great service, and definitely a place I'll keep coming back to!

I hadn't realized until I was writing this review that I had been here! I don't know if last time they didn't do ice cream or it just wasn't on my radar since we came more in the winter but it was nice to try sometime different this time around. I also think it didn't ping my memory as a lot of the baked goods were sold out by the end of the day when we arrived. Either way, we were here for the ice cream! I went with the mango and vanilla twist in a cup which was nice. The mango was a bit tart which paired with the vanilla nicely. The menu said it was topped with fresh mango and I only got one piece right on top so I found that a bit disappointing as the mango was delicious with the ice cream. I would have gladly paid extra for a bit more. The ice cream in general wasn't overly rich, and seemed to have a bit more of a water content than I was expecting (vs. more creamy) but it still tasted quite good. It just melted VERY quickly in the heat. Staff was REALLY sweet though. And though it was a Saturday night shortly before close (and they were quite busy) they were very efficient and kind.

Wonderful gluten free bakery! My family absolutely loved it. We purchased some croissants,…read morechocolate croissants, opera cakes, a birthday cake, and other various desserts. We weren't a fan of the cake itself, it was a bit too dry, but the pastries were the best we have ever had. They were flaky, light, beautiful, the perfect sweetness, and the perfect texture. While we didn't like the cake layer of the cakes, we did enjoy the mousse and ganache layers that composed most of the cake. I could not tell it was dairy free either! There was a big selection and the service was lovely. I didn't feel rushed like I often do at bakeries. The woman with whom I ordered was patient and friendly. It's near impossible to find nearby parking as a disabled person, but that's typical for Toronto proper, not the bakery's fault. I drove over 20 hours to get here and it was so worth it.

STRAWBERRIES CAKE The strawberries cake was delicious. It was light and sweet and the perfect blend of a cream and cake combo. It definitely tasted like a strawberry shortcake and my husband and I really enjoyed it. RASPBERRY PUFF PASTRY The raspberry puff pastry was really good. It had a nice raspberry filling and the puff pastry was nice and flaky. It was more savoury and not as sweet as the cake but it was still delicious. LEMON TARTLETT The lemon tartlet was a little bit soggy but it's possible it was soggy because we ate it a few days after it was delivered. The lemon flavour was still really good but it wasn't my favourite dessert. I did really enjoy the merengue topping. This was my favourite part of the dessert. I love how all the pastries were gluten free and dairy free. They all tasted delicious and are definitely equal in flavour and taste to their glutinated counterparts. Would I shop here again? Absolutely!

The aesthetic and the attention to detail when it comes to these desserts flawless, and exceptional. I enjoyed every single bite of my dessert. It was fluffy and it melted in my mouth, and I wish I could just eat my screen right now just looking at it lol. For drinks, we got hot chocolates, and they had one of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted, and I'm not exaggerating. It was the perfect drink and taste to eat my dessert. Location: The location is very pretty, but it's pretty casual. The seating is pretty close to other guests in the restaurant or tables of two if I'm not mistaken. This is a perfect place to go with friends or family or on a quick date or by yourself. This place looked like it was located on a main street with street parking, but because I was visiting in Toronto, I'm not sure how the parking works as we took Uber. Service: The service was great, and they were very friendly and answered any questions regarding the desserts on display to help us pick the perfect one for ourselves. They also brought the food to our table, including the drinks. I 100% would go back to this location.

The neighbourhood might not remind me of Paris, but the pastry kinda does. I think the problem with all French pastries in North America is that we don't have the quality butter. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. I stopped in specifically to try one of the bakery's signature items: the croissant. As someone who appreciates laminated pastry, I was unfortunately disappointed. A great croissant should have a delicate, crisp exterior, a light honeycomb interior, distinct flaky layers, and a rich buttery flavour. This one lacked those qualities. The crust was thick and rigid rather than crisp, the pastry was noticeably dry, and it lacked the buttery richness and delicate layers I was expecting. There are many factors during lamination, proofing, and baking that can influence the final result, but this croissant simply didn't deliver the texture or flavour I associate with an exceptional one. Perhaps my expectations are high. I grew up with a neighbour from Paris who regularly made croissants from scratch, and those set a lasting benchmark for me. While the croissant wasn't for me, the warm customer service was a solid highlight. If the review was just just for this aspect, a solid 4.
