10-13-18 Yesterday I did a YELP search and received many replies to do a termite inspection. At the same time I asked my Real Estate friend who she recommended for this job, and she replied ,"DeAnza." I looked them up and although some have given them 1 Star, I went with them. I called and the gals were quick to reply, set up an appt, and answered all my questions. In less than 24 hours, DONE! Vince came out and diligently performed his inspection. He clearly gave us instructions on how to go about getting our report. Everything as promised and no surprises. Extremely disappointed in the way that this company takes advantage of people. They are tied in with real-estate agents, quote jobs, over charge and con home sellers into paying high rates as they roll the fees into the sale of the house. My husband is a C-10 Contractor and knows construction. As we went through the process of working with this company we were disgusted by the way they take advantage of people. DO NOT USE this company. Here is our example in short: We needed some dry rot repair on a shed. They wanted to charge over $1000 for something that only cost $50 in materials and 2hrs in labor. Do the math... I did too and was outraged. Decent, honest, hard working, Blue collar people are out there and they are not one of them. I strongly suggest finding another company to work with as they will surly try to pull the wool over your eyes and rob you blind when you are not looking. This company is incompetent and they won't guarantee their work. We paid almost $600 on pest and prior rodent damage. They did a follow up job and sprayed inside and out of home. Less than two weeks later, I started finding spiders again. Today my son found a small mouse in back yard, probably unrelated and came in from the field but when I called DeAnza, they said their service didn't protect against rodents. Then I asked about finding spiders less than a month after the service, they said "we can't guarantee that it will last that long" I reiterated that most pest control chemicals last at least 3 months. They told me, "sometimes it doesn't last that long!" I asked if they guarantee their work and they responded "Not for a one-time service!" Refusing to honor your services is not only bad for business, but it's a terrible way to keep away customers and acquire new clients. I would not recommend DeAnza pest and will be contacting their owner to voice my concerns. read more

This place is terrible do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Don't believe the other reviews, they are posted in the last few months only to cover up their horrible rating on yelp. Please review my photos to see how they destroyed my home. The most annoying thing is that they kept washing their painting materials in the kitchen sink instead of outside. Not only did this ruin the sink and the septic system, but this was really a true testimony to how lazy they are. They are aware of selling homes and required termite inspections, they tried to pencil whip me with astronomical costs! Tough enough with so many people in for a piece of my equity. DeAnza has been our to our home 3 times now. We wouldn't go with the anyone else. We caught what looked like termites in a jar twice. The first time they came out and told us it was web spinners. Which are harmless. Today a year later the inspector came out again and we were relived to find out they were just some flying ants that most likely came in to our garage from our boxes that were in storage. Did I mention both times they came out to inspect, they didn't charge us a penny. We did have them out one other times to spray for black widows. That was months ago, I haven't seen any since. worth every penny. read more

I called these guys on behalf of my wife, for a home she is selling in Menifee. When I first called, I was professionally greeted, whomever answered the phone convinced me right away that this company will do a great job. I was told they would come out Monday @ 1:00PM my wife said they got there 15 or 20 minutes early. Did their thing and advised my wife when they were finish, and we got the report the very next day! On Nov. 10 I paid $200 for initial gopher removal. I was told I would need another 3 months of monthly maintenance at $69 each. Okay, pricey, but I wanted the job done and gophers are a pain so I agreed. However, the initial service did nothing. The gophers were as active as usual, so Deanza returned a couple of weeks later to redo the treatment for free. However, nobody set me up for the follow up monthly appointments. Yesterday I noticed gopher activity and thought, "oh, it's been about 30 days and nobody ever contacted me like they usually do," so I called to schedule monthly follow up service. I was told since it's been more than 30 days (roughly 40 days) I have to pay for full service again and then more monthly service. So not only was the gopher treatment ineffective, service was poor and dishonest. No thanks! read more

I called DeAnza Termite & Pest Control on Tuesday, 7/16. The female employee who was setting up an appointment for me said that the first available appointment was next Wednesday, 7/24. I had company coming from out of town the weekend of the 19th, so I asked her if they could come any earlier than 8 days away. She said it was a possibility that they could work me in on Friday the 19th, but she would need to call me back later that day to let me know if it was possible. Later that day (7/16), the same female employee called me back and said they would be able to work me in on Friday, 7/19, but she wasn't sure what time they would be able to arrive. The employee asked if it was okay if she called me back on Thursday the 18th and let me know what time they would be there on Friday. I said that would be fine. When I hadn't heard from them by Monday, 7/22, I called a different pest control company who came out the next day, did a great job, and quoted me a less price than DeAnza. I guess it worked out for the best, even though I had to live with the ants a few days longer than I anticipated. It is now 7/25 and I haven't heard anything from them to date. read more

Very good service overall. Good Prices, Good Service, No upselling. Only downside but not a big deal is that it takes longer than expected to make an appointment by phone. I called and was able to get an appointment within 3 business days. When you call to setup the appointment make sure you have time since you will be on hold for a few minutes. Girl over the phone was very nice but needs to go and checkout schedule before giving you openings, which is understandable but seems to take longer than what you'll expect. I will suggest the business to try to make the appointment setup faster if possible and call to confirm appointments. When the technician was at the house he was on time and did an amazing job. You can tell he was qualified and not trying to upsell or rip you off. We thought we might have termites and he said he didn't see any. He then gave us an estimate for pest control spray and some tips on how to avoid pests. read more
