In the Jeep Grand Cherokee's, the battery is under the passenger seat. I probably should've went somewhere else considering I had taken my car there on three separate occasions for engine misfiring before and they supposedly fixed it. Well, on this occasion, for them to fix the battery, they had to diagnose the engine to make sure it was the battery. Long story short, when I got home, my radiator was leaking. I told Rocky that I had no issue with my radiator or anything leaking with my engine. He said that I probably hit something on the way home, which was total BS. Again, long story short, after another thousand dollars of spending money there what was I supposed to do? I needed a car. So now fast-forward three years later...they had replaced windshield wipers on my vehicle before this incident while I had it in for an oil change. Well now yesterday, I went to get new Windshield wipers and as my buddy was replacing them, he tells me that the windshield wiper on the passenger side was super glued on!!! Could you freaking believe this???? I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. Rocky seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't watch what his employers are doing in the shop. They rip you off and he's not willing to back up anything that they do there. Avoid this place at all cost unless you want more and more repair bills! The mechanics need to be supervised!!!

Looks just as good as the day I bought the car. Thank you Forrest Auto Body!

On October 1, I drove from St. Louis, Missouri, to the Chicago area to see a specific vehicle after…read morebeing assured over the phone that it was in excellent condition, everything worked as it should, and nothing was wrong with it. That trip involved 10 hours of driving, approximately $150 in gas, and $100 paid to a friend to help drive one of the cars home. The original photos showed front bumper damage, but the dealership sent updated pictures showing a replacement bumper. What those pictures did not show was rust inside the doors and evidence of leaking around the roof pillars. During the test drive, the car also exhibited serious mechanical problems that made me concerned about the engine or transmission. I drove about two blocks before turning around and returning it. I understand that a 16-year-old vehicle will have wear. I was specifically looking for that year and model. My issue was being told the car had nothing wrong with it when its actual condition was drastically different from what had been described. Had they been upfront, I would never have made the trip. When I returned, getting my $500 hold deposit refunded took longer than it should have. Meanwhile, three people--an owner, a finance manager, and a new salesperson--pressured me to consider other vehicles. Based on our conversations, the new salesperson did not seem very knowledgeable about cars, which added to my frustration and lack of confidence in the dealership. I test-drove another car and was quoted what they presented as a special price. On October 5, I checked their website and found that vehicle advertised for less than the price they had offered me. That further undermined my trust. I also asked them to update the information on the original vehicle to accurately reflect its condition. I hoped they would take that opportunity to be transparent with future buyers, but when I checked, the listing still had not been corrected. I lost an entire day and $250, and came home without a car. Based on my experience, I would never buy from this dealership. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before spending their time and money traveling there.
