I never feel uncomfortable or anxious with this place doing work on my cars. My only complain is that they're not open on weekends so a lot of the times I have to change my work schedule around the store hours but that's such a small downside for me. Back in 2022 I had a problem with my Saturn Ion that nobody could fix. No shop could find the part that was needed because Saturn went out of business so long ago. I went to well over 8 different shops to get the issue resolved. Garage 31 was the only shop that fixed the issue even though they had to jump through so many hoops to resolve the issue. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.

Total was $1300. 4 days later front tire completely falls, axle snaps, and ball joint falls out. Owner says get it towed in and he'll work with me. Quotes me $2300 for the second part of the job. Tried calling owner no response. Very unprofessional and not willing to admit they made a mistake or work with me. Not to mention this tire falling off could of killed me. They deny the second damage had anything to do with the first job but I've spoken to enough people that said at a minimum they should of done a full inspection of the front end. If they had a done a thorough inspection I would of happily paid the money. Instead two tows and here we are. Avoid this shop and go somewhere that knows what their doing and doesn't avoid phone calls when things don't go there way. In life it's how you respond to the tough times that define you.

They emailed me a soft copy but also printed it out and went over everything they came across without talking down to me. It probably took around an hour for them to inspect the car, but there's a nice waiting area to get some coffee and water. It's hard finding a trustworthy place and is reasonably fast. I'm glad there are auto shops like this that can restore my trust and faith in these places.
