Instead, they looked at the suspension and tried quoting me for things my car didn't need. Friendly service but far overpriced. I decided against them after a friendly associate showed me the options. They mention that Belle has their own tire recycling plants so tire disposal is "free" but the charges are way higher. I did appreciate all the details they have about their tire options and variety and the associate who helped me was very helpful and informative but when it comes to prices they charge premium for their name being more well known. I called my old man and he suggested this little spot called Suburban Tire and Auto Parts. I called them and pulled up minutes later. Several associates greeted me and they were aware of my consideration for price and put $100 off along with far better prices. I had to wait 2 days for the specific tires I ordered but they got them and put them on quickly. I assume Belle probably does a good job but if you are looking for the best deal I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

When I first contacted Belle Tire in Huntley, the weather did not cooperate enough for me to take my car in for a brake check and tire rotation without the service men getting a face full of salt & snow . I called and cancelled and rescheduled for today Feb. 20th. Weather was beautiful, the gentleman who greeted me was super kind and respectful. He assured me that my needs would be taken care of, no problem. I was prepared for new brakes & new tires and was pleasantly surprised that not only did I not need either, they had rotated my tires for free and suggested I come back in 6,000 miles to have them rechecked. To top that off the brakes were fine also. I am 83 years old and expected, as I have been in the past, to be treated as an elderly unknowledgeable person, especially a FEMALE. Came in for a price on a set of four tires and Tim Stam was amazing and has great customer service and very good advisor. I gone to different shops and never seen a crew working so hard. Thanks to Dale S for doing such a great job at replacing my tires and the balance on them is great. The alignment tech Oscar was super honest and my alignment was out by a hair. Never write reviews, but this just had to be written. Had an appointment to get my tires done at a certain time. They could not get me out by the promised time that they, Seems like they over promised and under deliver due to overbooking. The younger gentleman was a great help but the other person Jacob was very snarky but still professional blaming it on Thanksgiving weekend. like to mention that I've been coming here for years. I actually booked an appointment previous to coming in so defeats the purpose of an appointment. read more

SCAM BEWARE! I made an appointment to have new tires out on my husband's 2015 truck with only 44k miles. My grandson drove the truck and dropped it off at Belle this morning, 2/27. He had no problem driving it or stopping it. Soon thereafter, he was called and told that the truck was too rusty to be put in a certain lift and had to be moved to another. Then he was told that the brakes were "seized up" and all needed to be replaced. They never so much as took a tire off to look at the brakes. He was then told (several calls) that there was probably a transmission problem because they had to floor it and drop it in gear to move it into the building. He later went back to see the truck and talk to a manager and saw no brake fluid under the truck. The manager, Jacob, became very defensive and snippy with him. So my husband called and while stumbling to keep the "stories" straight, got the same info. So a low mileage truck was driven in for tires only to have the brakes fail, and develop a transmission problem. My grandson was told that he would have to let them fix the brakes or have it towed. This is abuse of the young, old, and women. It's extortion plain and simple. They damaged our truck-tough to verify -and want to leverage us into letting them fix a brake problem that didn't exist.
