His skillset has provided me with exceptional pain relief, while performing with great bedside manner and explanatory dialogue during the treatment. His follow up protocol is unusual, as I've received wellness checks/calls from him on the evening of each of these visits. Two days after the second procedure I woke up…read moreat 3am crying because my jaw would not open and this was two days after they did the root canal I told them my jaw really hurt. Then they said they didn't know what was hurting my jaw. Mind you this was a 3 to 4 hour procedure. I thought I had a stroke so I went to the hospital ER. After many tests and CT Scan the ER Dr. Said I had severe extreme TMJ most likely caused by the dental procedures I had done. It has now been a full year and I suffer now from this severe extreme TMJ. It's excruciatingly painful. I Cannot eat normal. I Cannot Open my mouth normal, I constantly have extreme severe headaches feels like my skull is being crushed. And insult to injury, I still need to have the filling completed on the root canal, but I cannot because I cannot open my jaw anymore without extreme pain. Cascadia Dental should have told me to wait until my first root canal was healed before rushing in to do a second procedure so soon after the first one. He has performed a total of seven dental implants for me, including rebuilding the jawbone under two of them because of significant bone loss due to extractions 25 years ago. Dr. Nguyen devoted a great deal of uninterrupted time to my treatment so that he could achieve the best possible results. He truly did an exceptional job. After leaving his office after the most recent implant, my face and jaw were not swollen, and I experienced no pain at all. The others caused only minor pain and swelling. In fact, I almost never had to take pain medication after any of the many procedures he performed on me. Our family has been seeing Dr. Nguyen for the past 23 years, and we have been extremely happy with his professional care. He is sincere, thorough, pleasant, and always helpful. I strongly recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone who needs dental work, whether minor or major. He could not have had a better experience. His procedure lasted several hours, he needed re-treatment on an older root canal tooth. Later this year, during one of my weekly Invisalign check-ins, my orthodontist noticed a small cyst forming above the tooth that had the root canal and told me to get it checked out. I first went back to my old dentist (whom I've since switched from), and they referred me back to my original endodontist for a re-treatment. But since my previous experience there wasn't great, I decided not to go back. Instead, I found a new place -- Kirkland Endo. They require a referral from your general dentist, so I called my current dentist's office, and they immediately sent over all my records. Kirkland Endo scheduled me for a consultation the very next day and the actual treatment the day after. Super efficient! Everyone at Kirkland Endo was incredibly kind and professional. My treatment was done by Dr. Rude, and the experience was fantastic! He was kind, polite, confident, and had such a warm smile -- honestly gave me friendly "Dr. Carlisle from Twilight" vibes! The whole procedure took about an hour. From the moment the strawberry-flavored numbing gel went on to the very end, I didn't feel a hint of discomfort. The best part? Enter Dr. Kang, who confidently said, he could save my tooth. And guess what? He did! I won't lie, I saw him a lot (I think it was six appointments), but every single visit was worth it. Fast forward two years to now, and that tooth is still going strong, no issues whatsoever. His team is incredibly sweet and made it so easy to juggle all the appointments I needed. They were super flexible and stayed on top of things, even seamlessly communicating updates and transferring info to my dentist for the final crown work. And here's the best part all of my appointments were completely pain-free. If you like a lot of hand-holding, NLS/Kirkland is not for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer an impersonal, conveyor belt approach, this office may be more your style. The procedure was rough, but less due to the staff than the procedure. It's simply a terrible thing to have a piece of your body you've had in place for a half-century sawed off and ripped out. Recovery was flawless. To say I had little pain would be inaccurate: I had zero pain in the first several days.
