After my dentist sent over my referral for a root canal, Dr. Nima called me to introduce himself and what will happen during our upcoming appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to have heard from him directly as that is rarely the case with doctors. At the appointment, I was shocked to know that I was his only patient at that time. I've become so accustomed to loud, fast-paced and stressful dental office environments that I was loving his peaceful space (it even had calming blue colors and a nice view Issaquah Creek outside!) Dr. Nima did some evaluative tests to confirm that a root canal was recommended. I trusted his advice and appreciated that he answered all my questions about the procedure. As a visual learner, I was happy when he used a demonstration teeth model as an aid for explaining a complicated and unfamiliar procedure. The procedure itself was just fine, seemed to go by relatively quickly. It was nice and reassuring having Dr. Nima talk through what he was doing throughout the root canal. He provided me with a cute care package and even called the next day to check in on me! Dr. Nima provided me such a great patient experience. Well done and keep up the great work in patient care Dr. Nima!!!

I live in Auburn now, but it was was a no-brainer that I would make the 30 minute trip to return to the fantastic folks at Issaquah Highlands Dental Group. Even years later, they're amazing as always. Every staff member is so kind, warm, and caring. I have an awful time with the x-rays, but Lauri was SO gentle and patient. It was the most painless x-ray I've ever done. I would go here just for her. And Dr. Eric Miller is similarly amazing - kind, efficient, and communicative. I had some stains on my teeth and he went out of his way to make sure he got them all, and now my teeth sparkle. :) Going to the dentist is never fun, but Issaquah Highlands Dental Group makes doing so 1,000 times better! Also: One of my favorite things about this dental group is that they are 100% transparent up front about costs. I'm never wondering mid-procedure whether I'll be paying a huge fee afterward. They check with my insurance for me and always make sure I'm aware of and agree with the charges before doing anything. Insurance can be a pain to figure out, and this level of transparency puts Issaquah Highlands Dental Group above and beyond all other providers.

I had a tooth extraction at Dr Banda and here's what I experienced…read more 1. One of my teeth went bad and was extracted - but, a fraction of the extracted tooth was left behind in my gum! Not a tiny piece - the second provider I went to see later found it on x-ray. 2. I chose full anesthesia but did not recall being told to avoid eating in the morning. I showed up with a full belly and was told there could be a risk of vomiting in the process. The procedure went forward. 3. After the procedure, the bone graft kept falling out. My primary dentist suggested me to see Dr Banda again. He told me the graft failed and recommended redoing the grafting procedure right away. 4. At that point I decided to see another dentist for second opinion, who then found out the fraction left behind. She suggested letting my gum heal before another procedure with a chance to grow back enough bone, which it did and saved me a procedure.

They offer free wifi in the waiting room as well, and restrooms are conveniently located right outside the lobby. I had a very disappointing experience with Bellevue Azalea Dentistry after getting Zoom teeth…read morewhitening. During the whitening process itself, I had to stop before the fourth session because of sudden, intense nerve pain. By the third session, the pain had already become severe. At that time, aside from applying a post-treatment gel, the only recommendation I received was to take painkillers. There was no effort to observe or assess my condition while I was still in the clinic. I was in so much pain at the front desk that I felt lightheaded, yet beyond asking if I was okay, there were no meaningful suggestions or attempts to address the issue other than relying on medication. After the procedure, I experienced extremely severe and frequent tooth pain -- sharp, nerve-like flashes happening almost every minute, even when I wasn't talking or exposed to cold air. The pain radiated from my teeth and gums all the way to the back of my head and lasted for about three days before it started to subside. During that time, the pain was so intense that I couldn't speak comfortably or focus on work. While the dental assistant was responsive over text, I made a consistent effort to describe my symptoms in detail (frequency, intensity, affected areas) hoping it would help with proper diagnosis. However, the only guidance I received was to take painkillers and repeated references to it being "sensitivity," which felt dismissive given how severe the pain was. Eventually, the symptoms improved on their own over the weekend, but I was left with lingering discomfort -- my teeth and gums still feel unusually "soft" and not fully normal. Overall, I found the experience unprofessional and lacking in proper care or accountability. I would not recommend this dental office.

Part that I was impressed with the most was, the flexibility with which the staff and dentist modified the plan of action then and there to fit my need and treated me, instead of cleaning which is what I went in for originally.
