I came in to see Dr Cohenca thinking I needed 2 root canals bc my upper and lower molars were on FIRE. Dr. Cohenca ran some tests and said he felt I only needed one root canal, and that one molar was just referring pain to the other. He was right!! A day after surgery all pain in BOTH molars ceased. I am so grateful for his expertise and honesty! I was also a tougher case because my mouth is small and I couldn't open wide at all. But Dr. Cohenca didn't say a word and proceeded with excellence. I had my second root canal in a week performed by a very caring and skilled Dr. Cohenca. I can honestly say the experience was much easier and painless than I feared. In fact it was a lot like getting a cavity filled, just takes longer, about an hour. I was able to leave the office and go for a pain-free cold smoothie on the way home! Dr Cohenca is absolutely amazing endodontist. I have a tooth broken cracked at the corner and around 25% of the crown has been lost. I went to many other places with all 5-star reviews but all of them told me that they cannot fix it because that's too risky for them to work on a severely broken tooth. As the last attempt I went to Dr Cohenca's place and he assured me that this tooth is fixable and he has confidence to get it done within an hour. I've had a root canal done before... and I was told by a dentist that I should do a extraction of my tooth as it was very painful. Dr Cohenca did a second opinion, looked at my xray and said the tooth can be saved. In one day, he came in and completely removed the infection in my tooth and filled it perfectly with no problems. It is day 2 and I feel no pain anymore and all of the infection is gone. In my previous root canal, it was very painful and they didn't seem like they knew what they were doing.. They even put a screw in there for no reason. Dr Cohencas staff was also very kind, professional, offered tea and a blanket to my wife and made sure she was comfortable while in the room. Blown away. After experiencing the worst tooth pain of my life over an entire weekend (which led me to the ER on Saturday night for pain meds), Dr. Cohenca was able to see me on Monday morning. He diagnosed me right away, explained everything clearly, and was able to do the root canal right then and there. After the numbing portion, there was no more pain. I can't imagine anyone needing to come here is in a good mood because something is very wrong to have to see an endodontist. Visiting from Ohio and I had 2 teeth go bad at the same time. I have to have 2 caps done and 1 of the teeth abcessed after one of the crtowns was placed. I had to suffer over the weekend with the pain because the dentists office who did the crowns was already closed. They saw me on Monday morning and they referred me to Prime. I was able to watch the entire procedure as they have a camera with a monitor I could watch. Hour and a half procedure was painless. First off, not only is Dr Cohenca extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his treatment explanation, but his calm and gentle demeanor puts you at ease. I called Dr. Cohenca's office today after enduring a weekend of excruciating pain. They were able to get me in this afternoon, which was such a relief. After locating the offending tooth, Dr. Cohenca thoroughly explained his treatment plan to me. After numbing me up, it was root canal time. It sounds strange to say, but this was the most relaxing dental procedure I've ever had (and I've had plenty). I'm used to lying in a chair, staring at bright overhead lights, and listening to cheesy soft rock music while the dentist drills away. That wasn't the case here at all. They dimmed the lights, gave me a blanket, and provided me with Spotify and noise canceling headphones. I nearly fell asleep during the procedure, which speaks volumes about how gentle Dr. Cohenca and his assistant Stephan were. As I write this, I am finally pain free for the first time in a month. I can not express my gratitude enough to dr. Cohenca for his expertise and exceptional surgical skills in saving my tooth. My long term dentist told me I had internal root resorption in one of my canine teeth and it needed to be pulled. Her solution didn't feel right so I went another dentist for a second oppion. Again, pull the tooth. I went to 2 endrodontist and a periodontist with the same results. Not one of these dentist could correctly diagnose what was going on with the resorption problem I was having until I found dr. Cohenca. He told me what type of resorption I had and that he could correct it with surgery so that I wouldn't lose my tooth. The surgery went flawless. I didn't have any pain during the procedure or after. Dr. Cohenca is an excellent surgeon, kind and cares about his patients. His staff is excellent, effectiant and have great communication skills and follow up. AMAZING! I had a root canal done at my regular dentist over 5 years ago. However, there were canals and some spaces that weren't filled and bacteria has taken up residency, creating an infection, and causing me PAIN lol. Those darn bacteria. Anyways, I was referred to Dr. Cohenca and staff for endodontic retreatment. I was able to get an appointment the next day after referral and was so excited to finally get some relief. The staff are wonderful! The office is clean and visually appealing. I had a great time from start to finish. Dr. Cohenca explains everything to you to make sure you know what's going, what to expect, and so forth. With my insurance, I paid $300 out of pocket + an optional $400 for a CT scan that was not covered. The CT scan offers more details than the XR and I chose to get it for reassurance that all the nooks and crannies would be filled in order to reduce reinfection, cause the pain just sucks. AND I was also given a USB with the imaging on it so I could review it when I got home. I received a blanket and noise-cancelling headphones so I could jam out to my 90s rap playlist. There's also a live camera and you can watch the whole thing, which was SO COOL. This was the most relaxed I've felt in the past week that I was fighting not to fall asleep! OVERALL, SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! You will be in great hands! read more

We were referred to Prime Endodontics by our dentist when a bump appeared on my son's gums. I was so nervous about it but the entire Prime Endodontics operation was amazing!
