I came in to see Dr Cohenca thinking I needed 2 root canals bc my upper and lower molars were on FIRE. Dr. Cohenca ran some tests and said he felt I only needed one root canal, and that one molar was just referring pain to the other. He was right!! A day after surgery all pain in BOTH molars ceased. I am so grateful for his expertise and honesty! I was also a tougher case because my mouth is small and I couldn't open wide at all. But Dr. Cohenca didn't say a word and proceeded with excellence. Very grateful! read more

Dr. Trinh from Totem Lake Dental referred me to Prime Endodontics for a root canal. Granted, I haven't had one in 20 or so years and boy has technology advanced greatly. From scheduling to procedure to post-op phone call, everything was just a phenomenal experience. So much so that I haven't stopped recommending them to my coworkers and anyone I come in contact with! Dr. Shahd Nawari was my endodontist and she did an excellent job. Going back to work the next day, I didn't need to take additional ibuprofen to get through the day. I can even eat on that side, just not hard or sticky stuff until I get my permanent crown. All in all, I am very very happy with Dr. Nawari and her staff. If I ever need any work that requires an endodontist, I'd come here. Thanks again to Dr. Nawari and the staff for making my root canal procedure a wonderful experience. read more

I have seldom received service as fine as I did at Prime Endodontics. I arrived at the clinic and the women at the desk were very polite and friendly. Likewise I found Dr Cohenca to be warm, reassuring and generous with his time. I came in for an assessment of my pain and to discover what needed to be done. Dr Cohenca performed a root canal right away. . After the root canal I had no more pain. Now I am so grateful that I went to Prime Endodontist because Dr Cohenca found a bad infection in my lower molar . I give him a thousand stars read more

I had my second root canal in a week performed by a very caring and skilled Dr. Cohenca. I can honestly say the experience was much easier and painless than I feared. In fact it was a lot like getting a cavity filled, just takes longer, about an hour. I was able to leave the office and go for a pain-free cold smoothie on the way home! The Dr. clearly explained the procedure with images, and I could see the before and after X-rays. He was assisted by skilled and compassionate professionals who made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The front desk staff is very competent as well. read more

Dr. Cohenca and his staff were top notch, caring for my 6 year old who had gross decay in a molar that had recently erupted. She needed treatment that her pediatric dentist felt was beyond her capabilities. Dr. Cohenca's office technology enabled me to watch and record exactly what was happening during the procedure. He handled my daughter gently and communicated perfectly with her so she would feel comfortable in the dental chair. We feel so lucky to have such a skilled endodontist willing to work on children with complicated situations here in Kirkland! We appreciate you well beyond words. read more

Dr Cohenca is truly a miracle worker! I had my first root canal today at age 68. I am the biggest baby in the world. It was so quick and easy and no pain. I highly recommend him if you need a root canal. He is beyond amazing! Thank you so much. read more

Dr Cohenca is absolutely amazing endodontist. I have a tooth broken cracked at the corner and around 25% of the crown has been lost. I went to many other places with all 5-star reviews but all of them told me that they cannot fix it because that's too risky for them to work on a severely broken tooth. As the last attempt I went to Dr Cohenca's place and he assured me that this tooth is fixable and he has confidence to get it done within an hour. Which he did complete within an hour professionally and there is 0 lingering pain after the operation. We would definitely recommend Dr Cohenca to anyone who need to work with endodontist. All assistants and recipients are super friendly and help promptly getting water, sunglasses, and even noise cancelling headset for patient's comfort at their best effort! The cost is definitely reasonable after insurance coverage read more

Dr. Cohenca and staff will give you such a good root canal at their sparkling new Market St. location that you'll want to come right away for another! Seriously, what can you say about the unpleasant experience of a root canal except that the doctor and staff made it as humanly pleasant as possible? Dr. Cohenca is super professional and has been doing this for many years. Dr. Cohenca has a soft, calm demeanor that puts you at ease. He talks to you before the procedure and fully answers questions. A few days after the procedure, he called me personally to ask about my condition and answered a few more questions. Many doctors, if they do call back, have a staff member call. I felt like Dr. Cohenca and all of his staff took care of me well and did the job with ultimate professionalism. His office, facing Market St. in Kirkland, has large picture windows with plenty of natural light that help make the patient feel even more comfortable. read more

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Cohenca and his staff. Mr. Cohenca is very professional, he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice. I came in for an emergency root canal during a very stressful time for many, but they made sure I felt at ease and comfortable. They scheduled me in for the exam and procedure on the same day, which was very nice. The staff is amazing, sweet and very knowledgeable. The office is beautiful and very well taken care of. Meeting Nestor Cohenca was a pleasure, not only is he thorough and informative, but he is also very sweet and knowledgeable in his field. I would go back a million times but let's keep it to one time only. I highly recommend Prime Endodontics to anyone in need of a really good experience. read more

I've had a root canal done before... and I was told by a dentist that I should do a extraction of my tooth as it was very painful. Dr Cohenca did a second opinion, looked at my xray and said the tooth can be saved. In one day, he came in and completely removed the infection in my tooth and filled it perfectly with no problems. It is day 2 and I feel no pain anymore and all of the infection is gone. In my previous root canal, it was very painful and they didn't seem like they knew what they were doing.. They even put a screw in there for no reason. Dr Cohencas staff was also very kind, professional, offered tea and a blanket to my wife and made sure she was comfortable while in the room. Blown away. High recommendation. I only went here because my my dentist friend highly recommended doctor Cohenca. Said he was the best on the eastside! read more

Dr Cohenca and his staff were outstanding. We'd recommend him to anyone seeking endodontist. My daughter had no problem with her tooth after a pretty complicated root canal procedure. After experiencing the worst tooth pain of my life over an entire weekend (which led me to the ER on Saturday night for pain meds), Dr. Cohenca was able to see me on Monday morning. He diagnosed me right away, explained everything clearly, and was able to do the root canal right then and there. After the numbing portion, there was no more pain. He used state of the art equipment to clean the infection and I actually went in and out of sleep during the procedure. His staff was amazing as well. I hope I have their names correct - Stephan, Julie, and Karen. They were all so courteous and helpful. I cannot recommend Dr. Cohenca and his staff enough! read more

I can't imagine anyone needing to come here is in a good mood because something is very wrong to have to see an endodontist. With that said, the experience from the first phone call with the receptionist to the dental assistant to Dr. Cohenca is just top notch!! They office is sterile clean (Im the type to look at the dust build up on base boards at the dentist) yet so warm and inviting with their decors! Best of all, everyone was so friendly in a genuine way. Dr. Cohenca himself is so thorough in his exam and explanations. He really took the time to answer all my questions and come up with a plan for my case, even if it meant to further refer me to another specialist. If it helps your decision, I was referred to this office because my friend who is also an endodontist herself told me to come here after seeing his x-ray work on her friends. She said they did an impressive job on a difficult case. read more

I recently had a root canal at Prime Endontics. Dr. Cohenca took the time to explain the procedure in depth and to make sure I was comfortable. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating, even though they had to stay late for me. The procedure itself was quick and painless. They give noise cancelling headphones so you can listen to music and zone out. I was sore the next day, which was to be expected, but they called to check in on me. Dr. Cohenca took out an old root canal to eliminate the infection under it. He then refilled the canals and repaired the crown using state of the art materials and techniques. I was able to watch the entire procedure as they have a camera with a monitor I could watch. Hour and a half procedure was painless. He and his assistant, Stephan, worked well together and made sure I was comfortable. He even gave me his card with his mobile number and said to feel free to call him direct if I was feeling any discomfort out of the ordinary. read more

My time at Prime Endodontics was THE most pleasant experience I've had when it comes to endodontics. First off, not only is Dr Cohenca extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his treatment explanation, but his calm and gentle demeanor puts you at ease. In preparation for my retreatment, I had revealed I become extremely nervous and am sensitive to the slightest bit of pain in which they prescribed a type of sedative and made me right at home with a blanket and noise canceling headphones. I felt absolutely NO pain and the experience was better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Prime for any and all of your more complex dental procedures. read more

Dr. Cohenca's office was able to fit me in for a root canal earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Earlier endodontic experiences had left me expecting the worst but I was very pleasantly surprised with the complete ease with which Dr. Cohenca and his staff proceeded to handle this root canal. Dr. Cohenca explained everythng very well and made sure that all my questions were answered prior to the procedure. I experienced no pain either during or after the process. I felt very well cared for. Dr. Cohenca showed me clearly what had occurred and sent me a copy of the report sent to my dentist as well. I can't recommend Prime Endodontics highly enough. I called Dr. Cohenca's office today after enduring a weekend of excruciating pain. They were able to get me in this afternoon, which was such a relief. After locating the offending tooth, Dr. Cohenca thoroughly explained his treatment plan to me. After numbing me up, it was root canal time. It sounds strange to say, but this was the most relaxing dental procedure I've ever had (and I've had plenty). I'm used to lying in a chair, staring at bright overhead lights, and listening to cheesy soft rock music while the dentist drills away. That wasn't the case here at all. They dimmed the lights, gave me a blanket, and provided me with Spotify and noise canceling headphones. I nearly fell asleep during the procedure, which speaks volumes about how gentle Dr. Cohenca and his assistant Stephan were. As I write this, I am finally pain free for the first time in a month. Dr. Cohenca is a master of his craft and I highly recommend him. Well done! read more

Wonderful experience - from scheduling the appointment, to the procedure, to even a prompt follow-up visit to discuss questions, Dr. Cohenca was amazing! I cannot recommend this practice enough - in fact, I'm disappointed Dr. Cohenca cannot be my regular dentist for cleanings/standard dental work! If you're apprehensive about endodontics and postponing treatment - don't! You'll be just fine under the care of Dr. Cohenca. read more

I can not express my gratitude enough to dr. Cohenca for his expertise and exceptional surgical skills in saving my tooth. My long term dentist told me I had internal root resorption in one of my canine teeth and it needed to be pulled. Her solution didn't feel right so I went another dentist for a second oppion. Again, pull the tooth. I went to 2 endrodontist and a periodontist with the same results. Not one of these dentist could correctly diagnose what was going on with the resorption problem I was having until I found dr. Cohenca. He told me what type of resorption I had and that he could correct it with surgery so that I wouldn't lose my tooth. The surgery went flawless. I didn't have any pain during the procedure or after. Dr. Cohenca is an excellent surgeon, kind and cares about his patients. His staff is excellent, effectiant and have great communication skills and follow up. I couldn't be happier and feel fortunate that I was able to be his patient. read more

Had I known root canals could so painless and comfortable I wouldn't have suffered for over a year with a cracked tooth. Dr. Cohenca and his staff really took the time to ensure I was comfortable and understood the procedure. The entire process took only about an hour and a half and Dr. Cohenca and his staff really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire time, from giving me a blanket to remembering special health issues before I could even bring them up. I just adore this man and his staff for taking such good care of me when I was terrified and the best part is now I am pain free! read more

Doctor Cohenca is the best. A few months ago I woke up with the left side of my mouth swollen and in pain, my Dentist Bernard Pak(also 5 stars) got me in immediately, he determined I needed an root canal right now, he called Dr. Cohenca, 5 minuets later I was in his office, thankfully he is across the street from Dr. Pak. I did this on blind faith not knowing anything about Dr. Cohenca but I was in a bind, this was an emergency. Well I hit the dental lottery, he did a phenomenal job, great bedside manor, nice staff, perfect results. The other review's are spot on. I have been back for 2 more root canals, he is so good you do think you actually had a root canal. Don't hesitate to see him if you need dental work. read more

I wrote a much longer review and unfortunately it did not get published so this one will be shorter. Overall, this is the best medial experience my wife and I have ever experienced. Dr Cohenca fit us into his busy schedule, walked us through the results of both CT Scan and XRay so that we could be knowledgeable... we had to go to ER ultimately two days later and Dr Cohenca and his entire staff checked on us the entire time. Best service and care ever read more

Very happy with my experience. Warm and relatable staff. Efficient and well-organized, professional operation, too. Dr. Cohenca took the time to make sure he answered my questions and provided full details. I felt very well cared for. And both he and the staff followed up with me after the day of treatment to make sure my recovery was going well. I'm not eager for another root canal, of course, but if I need endodontic care I will come back here again, no question. read more

AMAZING! I had a root canal done at my regular dentist over 5 years ago. However, there were canals and some spaces that weren't filled and bacteria has taken up residency, creating an infection, and causing me PAIN lol. Those darn bacteria. Anyways, I was referred to Dr. Cohenca and staff for endodontic retreatment. I was able to get an appointment the next day after referral and was so excited to finally get some relief. The staff are wonderful! The office is clean and visually appealing. I had a great time from start to finish. Dr. Cohenca explains everything to you to make sure you know what's going, what to expect, and so forth. With my insurance, I paid $300 out of pocket + an optional $400 for a CT scan that was not covered. The CT scan offers more details than the XR and I chose to get it for reassurance that all the nooks and crannies would be filled in order to reduce reinfection, cause the pain just sucks. AND I was also given a USB with the imaging on it so I could review it when I got home. I received a blanket and noise-cancelling headphones so I could jam out to my 90s rap playlist. There's also a live camera and you can watch the whole thing, which was SO COOL. This was the most relaxed I've felt in the past week that I was fighting not to fall asleep! OVERALL, SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! You will be in great hands! read more

I needed to have an emergency root canal and Dr. Cohenca and I had several telephone calls on Easter Sunday to diagnose my symptoms and schedule an appointment for the following morning. My dentist accidentally drilled too close to a nerve when he was prepping my tooth for a bridge, which caused me to have excruciating pain. They were kind enough to set up an appointment on my behalf with Prime Endodontics. I could not wait for the scheduled appointment and reached out to Prime to see if they could see me earlier than what was scheduled. Their staff was kind, professional and thoughtful. They had lip balm and even offered me a blanket to ensure that that I was comfortable. Dr. Cohenca stayed to sort out my tooth, even though it was his birthday. They even called the following day to check up on me. Great service, professional and caring staff. I highly recommend Prime Endodontics! read more

We were referred to Prime Endodontics by our dentist when a bump appeared on my son's gums. I was so nervous about it but the entire Prime Endodontics operation was amazing! The office itself is very nice and clean. The front desk staff is helpful and courteous. The dental assistant, Stephan, was kind and gentle with my son. Dr. Cohenca was beyond GREAT!!! His diagnosis was that my son needed a root canal. I was very upset to hear that but Dr. Cohenca put me and my son at ease by explaining in depth exactly what would happen step by step. The day of the procedure Dr. Cohenca and Stephan did an excellent job making sure my son was comfortable and in no pain. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it went considering the horror stories I've heard about root canals. My son had a little soreness but Tylenol took care of that, and the next day he was completely fine. No one wants a root canal, but if you must have one, I HIGHLY recommend Prime Endodontics! read more
