Ambiance and drinks were great. We came during the holidays when they had the Miracle 'Pop Up' We had both the Naughty & Nice shots as well as the Krampus and Snowball Old Fashion. All in all an amazing experience and great start to kick off the Holiday Season

Nice swanky cocktail bar serving up elevated drinks. We came in before dinner on a Friday night, didn't have a reservations so our seating option was one of the two bars. The place really filled in while we were there, so definitely recommend making a reservation if you want to ensure you've got a spot. I was torn between the blood orange gimlet and gentleman in moscow cocktails, since it was a chilly evening I went with the gentleman in moscow as the gimlet felt a little more summery. I liked the drink but didn't love it, probably wouldn't order this specific one again, but would come back here to try another one. Cocktails ranged from $13-$15 which felt pretty standard and maybe even like a good deal when compared to some of the cocktail bars I'm used to in the Bay Area.

We decided to get an early dinner, so I searched for steak and "Plumb" came up on Yelp. Plumb runs the kitchen/food that is currently served at Deadshot, but I didnt realize that until we arrived and spoke with the bar owner/bartender who was super kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived shortly after opening, the vibe was already lively but quiet if that makes sense. There were several tables seated but away from the bar and we sat at the bar, so it still kind of felt like we had the place to ourselves which I liked. I'm not much of a cocktail drinker, but if I was I definitely would have ordered one here. Every drink looked incredible but I went with my typical red wine to pair with the burger and steak that we wanted to eat. My husband had a deadshot & a beer which we thoroughly enjoyed while waiting for our food.

Finally got a reservation for the Miracle on 9th pop up and it was so fun! I love that they have this in Portland. I got the Rudolph's redemption and i was surprised how good it was. It was prefect balance of alcohol. I also ordered some fries and they were very good. It is a little pricey but you are also paying for the experience. I will definitely be back next year for the Christmas vibes.

Made my way here for the Christmas pop up and glad I did! All the food was delicious. The French fries were the best, we ordered 3! The Brie platter was also surprisingly one of my favs as well. Service was good for the most part. One of the waitresses seemed annoyed with how often we were ordering, but I mean everything was so good!

I had so wanted to come here for the Miracle Pop-Up, but I was too late to the game to get a reservation. I had read that they are reserving some tables for walk-ins, so we got there a few minutes after they opened. I already had concerns as there was already a small line forming, so I wasn't sure they could take us. Thankfully, they allowed us to sit at the bar. It was a fun spot, as there was only two of us, and we got to watch the bartender making all the festive drinks. He was very chatty and nice. I had the Marshmallow and Unicorn and my husband had Santa's Secrets, which was zero-proof. Of course, true to Miracle Fashion both were served in fun mugs/glasses. Of course all the staff and the bar looks like Christmas threw-up on it (in a good way), but what we really got a kick out of, was how well decorated the bathroom was. Even Hallmark movies you don't see decorated bathrooms. I can't recall ever taking a picture in a public bathroom, but this one was absolutely photo worthy. The bartender did mention we were smart to arrive early, and he was right, as when we were leaving I only saw two seats free. Word to the wise, unless you have a reservation I would not attempt to go here on the weekends through the end of the year unless your bring a lot of patience with you.

Cocktails- the Krampus (left), Rudolph's Replacement (right)

The hostesses were great and got us seated instantly at the bar, despite being a walk in. Fun ambiance and the decorations were fun and festive. My partner liked the Rudolph's replacement $17 cocktail (vodka, coffee liqueur, white crème de cacao, orange curaçao, chai, almond milk, aromatic bitters (CONTAINS NUTS)). I ordered the krampus cocktail $17 (reposado tequila, oloroso sherry, allspice dram, mezcal, ginger, hibiscus, lime, hellfire bitters). It was an interesting combination; spicy, more citrus forward than I thought, and all in all, it was just okay...would not order it again. It was off putting that the cocktail was in a ceramic holiday mug that was significantly chipped at the lip of the cup. A straw came with it, but they should have thrown out the mug once it was destroyed. Had it not been for a straw, I would've asked for the drink to be put in a food safe cup. Overall, this place felt over hyped and the experience fell short for me.

Sat at the bar. Chill vibes, dim lights and a comfy seat at the bar. Negroni in the glass, pork chop on the plate.

Small, intimate space with kind, attentive staff that approach the art of making cocktails with passion, precision and class. Sexy place for sure.

Mid experience. Did the miracle at deadshot paid $5 per person for bar seating just to roll up to an empty bar. We did this on a Tuesday to avoid the crowds (and did). Since there was no one in the bar we asked for a table and the servers were very passive and annoyed. Mentioned I was waiting for friends to arrive and the server grew more annoyed. Friends arrived within 5 mins of our reservation and we were overwhelmed with the menu asked questions and he left mid questioning. Came back and asked us if we were finally ready. Took our order and we ordered two fries which he only put down one order so we had to flag down another server to order the other. Saw the manager or owner taking photos of the holiday dinner plate that had looked like a banquet style microwave dinner. I asked about what sauce came with the Brussels sprouts and was told they are juicy enough on their own. The fries came with a tartar sauce. This place was a mess. Decor was a mess it wasn't very cute. Prices didn't reflect quality. But they did capture miracle at 34th street because I wanted to take my own way out after this experience. I don't think I'd ever pay to feel like I'm in the dollar store like this again. Fix your customer service and decorate for an upscale feeling.

Deadshot continues to be one of my favorite cocktail bars in Portland. The vibe is perfect for a moody date night or you can come earlier for a quick drink & snack with friends. The drinks are top notch with super knowledgeable bartenders.

    Schnitzel Sandwich

GF And I visited the evening of 3/5. We each had the Schnitzel sandwich with fries. GF Has a food sensitivity to garlic and they were able to accommodate that as well. * The fries were amazing! Even after 10-20 minutes, they were still good * Schnitzel was great! The only thing that made it better was a little bit of mustard * Staff was *EXCEPTIONALLY* on point. Even the waitress that wasn't attending to us were attentive to us when he was busy! We will be back!

I've been wanting to go to the Miracle pop up for a couple years, but was unable to get a reservation. This year it was at Deadshot and I was early and got a reservation for a weeknight evening. They required that you pay $2.50 per person just for the reservation. nonrefundable. The 4 of us arrived 15 minutes early and it was a wait for our table. Supposedly the tables of 4 only got 1 hour and 45 minutes at the table before they had to leave so apparently they were behind. We were finally seated about 15 minutes past our reservation. We were supposed to be in the restaurant, but we ended up in the lounge instead which was OK. It was just more crowded. I understand that Deadshot was already known for their craft cocktails. Having the "Miracle at Deadshot" event is a great idea for any establishment because it just drives people there and they spend huge money to attend. The drinks or $17 and yes most of them came in a holiday inspired mug of some sort but the portion was small. You didn't get to keep the mug because it was sold separately. But the drinks were tasty. I chose the Rudolph's Replacement which consisted of Vodka, coffee liqueur, white creme de cacao, orange curaçao, chai, almond milk, aromatic bitters. It was yummy and served in a dinosaur mug, which didn't make sense and it wasn't very big. $17. OK the food is a whole nother story. Ridiculously expensive... When I tell you they had $125 steak, I couldn't believe it who would buy a steak here? I ordered the french fries which were good to snack on but then again they were $10 but affordable. Everything was a small portion for a high price. The place was decorated up and it was very festive. The menus were super cute, and the service was decent for as busy as they were. I think trying one of these Christmas pop-ups at least once is fun but we probably won't do it again.

Beef tartar and a marble hill
    Bo S.

Only constructive feedback I have is that there was no check in after food and drink was dropped. The food was spectacular. The drinks were complex and delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and committed to quality. The aesthetic was trendy, quirky, and high end. My first throught was that this would be a great place to take a date you really wanted to impress. I had the tartar and the marble hill cocktail. Definitely coming back.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

We came to Teardrop Cocktail Lounge while visiting Portland and were genuinely impressed…read more The cocktails were excellent -- thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who know what they're doing. One of the best parts was how approachable the bartenders were. We asked for custom drinks based on our preferences, and both came out perfectly tailored. Creative without being weird, and strong without being sloppy. What really stood out was the price point. For the quality of cocktails, the prices felt very reasonable compared to similar craft cocktail bars in other cities. The vibe was also great -- relaxed, cozy, and not pretentious. It felt like a place where you could come for a special drink experience without feeling like you had to "perform" or order off a rigid menu. We liked it so much we actually came back a second time during our trip. Highly recommend if you're into well-crafted cocktails, friendly bartenders, and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere.
