This was my first stop for restaurant week 2022. SO delicious!!! I got the prix fixe lunch for $39 and for my three courses i got ceviche, pulled beef with rice and beans, and churros. My friend ordered a la carte and got calamari and enchiladas. Everything was crazy delicious! The ceviche was extremely fresh and the flavor was delicious. It was also a really generous portion. The calamari was definitely a smaller portion but it was absolutely divine! The entrees were super tasty and once again a generous serving. the churros were the perfect dessert with just the right amount of crunch. Overall, this was some of the best Mexican food I've had in New York. 10/10 experience. read more

De Mole has the BEST brunch special I've ever seen. You get unlimited food and drinks for $45 plus tax. Talk about a steal! To be honest, I don't know what we had. The server asked us if we had any dietary restrictions and allergies and took control. I loved not having to worry about what to order and the spontaneity of someone choosing the dishes for us. I know for a fact we had: esquites, chilaquiles, queso fundido and flan coco. We had some sort of tacos, enchiladas and tostadas, but I can't seem to find it on the menu. The food was delicious. There wasn't a dish served that I didn't enjoy. Esquites is my favorite street food ever. I was thrilled when the server delivered it to our table. Chilaquiles is my favorite brunch meal, so I had to try it! They did not disappoint. The servers were incredibly nice! The drinks were slow to arrive, but made up for it. Came here for Valentine's Day. The service was EXCELLENT! The strawberry montos were great. We made a reservation prior to going there, very smooth. They did have a prefix menu $100 per person a bit on the pricy side. But the food was great. I had the pork belly guac, and my partner had the tuna one. Both were excellent. Right after came the coconut ceviche! Man that was delicious! We got chips too, because dipping that ceviche was just the only way to eat it. It was GREAT. Then the empanada- great!!! I had the enchiladas. They were ok. Not my favorite I must say. They were cold, it was a bit sad because everything else was a hit. My partner had the octopus, he said it was amazing. Some friends and I came here for brunch and absolutely loved it. The interior is so cute, they play great music, have amazing food and friendly staff. We didn't realize the brunch special was all you can drink AND eat. You don't see that often! They bring out the food family style and portion it based on how many people are in the party. I really liked this because we got to try a little bit of everything. One of my favorite tings about De Mole is they are super accommodating of dietary restrictions. For anything on the menu that we ordered containing meat, they made me a meatless version so I could still try everything. The amount of salad they gave me was unreal. I usually don't order salads at restaurants. I WANT to, but I'm always left hungry after. People who eat salads will understand my sentiment. However, this place is awesome. Huge bowl. Didn't skimp on the protein either. And I didn't have to pay $20 for it. It wasn't the best salad I've ever had, but the quality/quantity ratio was amazing. I actually didn't finish, which is unheard of. I would 10/10 order it again. The chicken enchilada was really delicious. The red sangria was fantastic, as well. Excellent Mexican cuisine and at very reasonable prices! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with flowers and vines, particularly the outside seating area. Stopped in here for lunch with a friend on a whim. Super cute patio ambiance & the food was really good! I got the shrimp regular sized quesadilla (pictured and partially eaten... whoops! ‍) and my friend got the steak tacos. The tacos were definitely bigger than expected, which is nice because you only get 2, and the quesadilla was really fresh and surprisingly light-- lots of veg, not much cheese and definitely wasn't greasy or heavy, which is what I wanted. They were great about refilling our drinks in an efficient manner, but I really did not like the food. I should have taken pictures! But this place is totally worth the visit. I used to live on the exact block and side it's on and am sad to say I never visited. My wife and I went looking for a nice romantic lunch and came across this spot. They have happy hour mon-Friday till 7pm and the happy hour is a steal! MUST GO!!!! We had an AMAZING time here for my boyfriend's birthday brunch. Alex and John were the ultimate hosts - making us feel welcomed right from the start. They explained that the food was indeed UNLIMITED - they would bring it out tapas style, small bites for everyone but that if there was something we wanted more of, all we had to do was ask. Everything was so delicious but since we wanted to try it all, we rarely asked for seconds - we were just so excited for what was coming next. We had a vegetarian in our party and they were super accommodating - providing him meat-free alternatives to the items that were brought out. Shout out to Jesus who was the BEST server - he was friendly, attentive, and fast, we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a drink. Which is saying alot at a place that prides itself on unlimited brunch drinks. We were a big group (12 ppl) which is never easy - but they made it look effortless. I brought a birthday cake and candles and they were delighted to bring it out and help sing/celebrate. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain every dish, including the ingredients and inspiration behind each one. Easily the best service I've ever had, and the whole table felt the same. Delicious spot w reasonable prices! Was having an intense mole craving and luckily found this restaurant. We got the enchiladas and the mole pollo. The enchiladas are made with white meat it seems, so i didn't enjoy that as much but the rest of the dish was delicious. Super upsetting experience here. They don't take allergies seriously at all and the food is mediocre at best. My boyfriend and I ordered burritos and asked the waiter several times to make sure there would be no dairy inside either of them due to allergies. One of the burritos came smothered in sour cream and cow cheese. Extremely upsetting and ver frustrating considering I emphasized so many times we wanted both orders vegan (which they have on their menu). We split a bottle red wine and ordered enchiladas de mole and enchiladas rojas. They were both so flavorful - the rojas had a mild kick to them! The enchiladas themselves are a bit larger so you get a good portion. They come with a side of rice and beans and you get chips and 3 kinds of salsa with your table. Suuuuper disappointed. We live locally and saw de Mole had fantastic reviews so we definitely wanted to try for a night of good Mexican food and margs. I was especially encouraged to go there as many reviews mentioned it's fresh and authentic unlike the likes of Mole or Cantina Royal which aren't quality spots. The food was quite good, the quesadilla was tasty and fresh and the fajitas were really good and came on one plate not 3. The guac though was $12 and it wasn't is a molcajete type bowl or similar size but a small cup, probably get a 1/2 cup of a serving, it's ooookay. What made us never want to go back was the service. The woman who served us was terrible. When she brought the fajitas she forgot a plate to make the fajita wraps on, totally fine, but she never came back to check on us "is there anything else you need at the moment" or even just to make sure it was good. So my fiancé had to go grab his own plate so he could eat. We wanted her to come back so we could order another drink but in the tiny restaurant she didn't even look at us for 35 minutes until I literally waved at her. We were long done with our food by then. After the drinks came she just walked away when we were going to ask to order dessert. Another 25 minutes go by and we flagged the guy down and he told her. She asked if we wanted the bill and were like um no we want dessert and more drinks... We were convinced she was doing this purposely because this attitude was beyond crazy. She could've gotten us in and out in an hour (even for us that's a long meal) but we went at 7 and left at 9:15..... only ordered 2 drinks, would've definitely ordered more if she'd pay any attention to us. So all in all, food isn't worth going back it was a bizarre experience and super awkward. She really made it a bad experience, shame because we wanted to love it and the food wasn't bad! read more
