Our daughter loves old school fashion and we were drawn in by the derby hats. The owner was super nice and even encouraged our daughter to try on a few. There was a beautiful white one and the owner told us that our daughter was the first person to try it on. We learned that the owner makes all of these hats by hand. I found that amazing. Talk about having a hand crafted original derby hat for the next horse race. I'm sure people will be jealous and wondering where you got such a unique creation. This boutique store specializes in furs, cashmere, shearling, and silk products. They hand select products from Europe and China. All of the products are either handmade or machine sewed for both men and women. They also have a variety of coats and jackets including hats, scarfs, gloves and earmuffs. Everything looks really warm and perfect to make it through the cold brutal Chicago winters. So shop Local and purchase something unique. The owner was super nice and the store is easy to get to. The 900 North shops are offering free 3 hour parking with a $10 purchase. (Dec 2020) I love this deal because it makes me want to shop downtown. I really don't want to pay $50 for parking. Once I get…read moreto the store, the lady told me that she had to wait for the owner to see if they could repair it for me , so the owner contact me the day after and told me that they can't fix it perfect. but they will try their best. And it takes about 4 weeks to fix it. And the quote of repair is $180. A fews days later, they called me and said the bag was ready to pick up. So I went there and pick it up today. Once I saw the bag, I am very disappointed of what they repair . I think it was overcharge of the repair price.

Michael said the bag could be repaired and reconditioned. He also indicated that he could not stretch the elastic that was needed for the shoes. He gave me a month's deadline for the bag. I was called with the news within the month that the bag was ready. It was excellently restored. I was thrilled. The color was beautiful and the roughed up lamb skin was no longer. I also appreciated his realizing he could not work with the shoes. I plan on returning.

none of these people know what they are doing, they were just yelling and randomly walking away…read morefrom customers who they were helping. they couldnt properly ring things up and ended up charging much more than it was supposed to be. they were not polite, or even approachable. This particular store is one i will never visit again. I have never been treated so bad by employees, all of the customers were being very cooperative and respectful and all the employees were giving was rude comments and snarky looks. They only care about customers who clearly have money and if you are not someone who is dressed fancy and looks wealthy, they are of no help.
