I contacted the Arrowhead and they sent out Scott who took measurements and explained what they would do to transform our deck from 2000 to 2024! Scott gave us a very fair quote and we decided to go along with Arrowhead to do our project. The next person that I was introduced to is Cory, who is the Project Manager. Cory was friendly, always smiling and gave us a fresh, relaxed feeling about our project. We were very apprehensive, but Cory explained everything they would be doing and calmed any apprehensions that we had. Cory was very thorough at how the process goes from how they will cover the pool water and tape all the surfaces off so they can concentrate on the work that they do. The first process was to remove this big boulder that we had on the deck and a bunch of small stones that were embedded in concrete. The crew came out and hand removed all embedded stones and a hand chiseled this huge boulder away. It took them all day, but when they left, we couldn't even tell that they had done all this work because the yard was SO CLEAN and area fresh concrete and it looked really beautiful. Cory stopped by to make sure everything was OK and said that the next crew out would be the "Pool Brothers"! Juan, who is the supervisor of the Pool Brothers, came out and said that his crews are the crews that will grind off the existing surface and then reapply all the various layers to complete the project. Every step of the way, Juan would ask if we wanted to come out and take a look, even though it wasn't necessary, which I thought was very professional Then we got to the point where we had to pick our colors and Juan took his time and didn't rush and showed us pictures of previous jobs they had performed and give us his thoughts of what would look best with our house paint color, and our pool color and landscape. When they were done, Juan had us come out and take a look and we were just blown away at how beautiful our new Deck & Patio was! Juan explained the process that we had to stay off the deck for 4 days and Juan said not to put the furniture back on the surface for another 3 days for a total of 7 days. My wife and I are so happy and ecstatic at how Arrowhead Deck & Pool has taken our old tired deck & patio and transformed it into a new deck & patio. Don't even consider another company, save your time and go with Arrowhead Deck & Pool! Tell them Jeff & Geri told you to call! And you want to deal with Scott, Cory & Juan! We started our service with Phoenix Pool Pro in March. Things didn't start out on a good foot…read morebecause the tech didn't show up on the day they were scheduled but we wrote this off as bad luck since they told us an emergency popped up and they sent someone out the next day. Our pool was blue but needed to be vacuumed and prepared for swimming after the winter. The technician told us we needed to buy a robotic vacuum and said the owner would let us know what model we should purchase. We never heard about the vacuum again. I showed the technician where our pole vacuum was along with the hose but they never vacuumed the pool despite there being significant detritus at the bottom of the pool from the winter. Over the period of the next few months the pool gradually got more cloudy and eventually turned pea green. We asked if there was anything we needed to be doing between services other than emptying the skimmer baskets and never got any response. We have a smart pool timer and we were never asked how many hours the pool pump was running for (12 hours) nor were we ever told what it should be set to. The owner told us we needed an algae treatment and said they would call the following Monday to discuss options. We never got a call about the algae treatment and the technician never came back. I called and left a voicemail asking what the status of our account was and for an explanation for the technician not showing up. The owner immediately sent a text message to my wife saying we probably needed to drain our pool. He told us he would get back to us soon but never called or texted again. The owner is no longer returning our calls or text messages. We are now looking for another company and our pool is disgusting.

I have or had 2 properties that were serviced by Desert Art Pools and they are a HUGE disappointment! I had a repair requested that was never completed and when I called back I was told it wasn't the same area leaking. Which is incorrect, the same area is still leaking,. They say they provide a complete service report and the initial leak and subsequent leaks were not reported. We were disappointed earlier this year with conflicting pricing quotes and services provided. However we did like our maintenance tech and decided to give them another chance. Fast forward - While away attending to personal business our electric heater was mistakenly turned on by the maintenance tech and left running for 2 weeks . I received a huge bill of $1000 from APS and when I called APS they pinpointed the source of the excessive use of energy to the spa running so long approx 360 continuous hours. APS was able to tell us the exact date and time it was turned on ( yes the time and date Desert Art Pools came out to service our pool). We can see a mistake happening the first week, but on the next visit the following week, it should have been turned off or at least a phone call to let us know it was on, and ask how to shut it off if he didn't know. But at the end of week 2, the maintenance tech did call and asked if I could turn the pump off remotely. I can turn off the pump remotely. But not the spa. Which I turned off myself the next day upon my return. I checked the spa water temp and the water was warm, but not hot, so here we go with another problem and we're hoping an element wasn't burned out as a result. Now,after paying the bill already, my husband and I brought this issue to the owner. His immediate response was that tech 's shouldn't turn on the spas at all. The next response is that there should have been a charge to turn on the spa. Ok, fine with that, if there was a charge, no one said there was. Im assuming he thought we wanted to have him pay the bill. We weren't asking for $1000 our normal bill would run $250- $300. We like our tech very much and are very understanding of human error. Our thoughts were to have the company provide a small credit each month to go towards the bill. He just said he was "calling it" and discontinuing service. Never gave or offered any sort credit or compromise. He blamed the victims and packed up and left and not even servicing our pool. Then his office sent invoices for payment. In addition to the bill, we are left with the the spa not heating like it had prior to the 360 hours of continuous running. And it was just installed in March of 2024! We were looking to the professional to provide guidance on what to do next, who should we call? We aren't pool heating experts, we're retirees! Randy, said that has 300 pools service and in so many words we were not worth the time and effort. I cant imagine any other business based on customer service who would have the gall to be so insulting. This company lacks management, customer relations training and good old fashioned ETHICS, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I should have given more thought to the other 1 star reviews. I know next time. I expect another "Cover Myself" response, or untruths in response to this review. But that will be just another case in point.
