She was just finishing up with a customer and she told me it would just be a minute. She was right...she took my order and in 2 minutes I was out the door with my hot pretzel and mustard. However, the customer service has improved over the years as the owners have recruited students from local schools to run the registers and order fulfillment operations. This has been a beneficial business tactic as the added, friendlier employees improved the customer service experience. The fact that these workers are local, they are able to better connect with the customers which over the years there has been a conspicuous disconnect between the two. At Lydianne's, all of the pretzels are made on site and within eyesight of the cash register, so when they are busy you should expect longer wait times as they replenish their freshly baked goods. It is a pleasant experience to observe their pretzel-making process from start to finish. One thing to note is there are two service lines at Lydianne's; it is understandable for some to think there is only one line which is the one you see immediately to the right upon entering the market. However, there is a second line around the corner on the opposite side of the pretzel stand. Overall, a consistently great experience at Lydianne's and the prices are reasonable.

So here I was on a Saturday night and I smell that delicious pretzel dough, I hadn't eaten like all day so I got 3 pretzel dogs. I was full after 2 and just stashed the 3rd in my coat pocket because it was wrapped in foil and who's gonna know ?? Right, right. So I probably went to like 3 more bars after that.
