The raw onions provided some crunch and a bit of a palette cleanse before the next bite. Originally we were thinking about getting the box. But the sample was so good, and we knew we wouldn't come back that way for a while, so we got a half tray of a mix of beef and wings along with a "small" tray of jollof. It took about 25-30 minutes for our big order to be ready. The young lady handed us this gorgeous insulated bag with Project Suya on it and it was hefty. She also slipped in a pineapple soda to our order for free. We had food for days! We got to enjoy the "Benito Bowl" while we ate West African grilled meats. Ah! The beauty of living in MOCO. I made a mistake of signing up for 4 weeks of meal delivery, and now I am out of hundreds of dollars. The first delivery was 2 days late and required multiple attempts to contact the merchant to get the ordered meals. Week 2 meals were delivered but be aware, if you happen to be in the shower when they show up with your delivery, they won't leave your meals on your secure porch and will just drive away with your order. Week 3- NO DELIVERY, NO CALL, NO EMAIL. Again, I had too contact the merchant to try to figure out where was my food. Days later got a response that they had an issue with their refrigerator and simply neglected to let me know!!! With over a thousand dollars already tied up with this merchant, I had to scramble to purchase food for my family elsewhere. Due to the "NO CALL NO SHOW" for the week 3 delivery, I politely asked the chef to immediately refund me for the remaining 2 weeks worth of food that wasn't delivered. I explained that because they failed to honor their contract, I had to make other arrangements for the meals. The merchant NEVER REFUNDED me for the remaining 2 WEEKS worth of food that they NEVER DELIVEREDA. I ended up having to contact my credit card company, and guess what? The merchant is lying to my credit card company, claiming they delivered all 4 weeks worth of meals! I am reaching out to the Office of the Attorney General and filing a fraud complaint next. Stay as far away from this thief as you can!
