I love a good hot dog, I don't care why they're made of, you can never make me hate hot dogs. And when I want a good hot dog that I know is gonna be amazing every time, I'm gonna get the pretzel dog. So here I was on a Saturday night and I smell that delicious pretzel dough, I hadn't eaten like all day so I got 3 pretzel dogs. I was full after 2 and just stashed the 3rd in my coat pocket because it was wrapped in foil and who's gonna know ?? Right, right. So I probably went to like 3 more bars after that. Got home, crashed. Woke up and was like "why is there a hot dog in my pocket?" And did I eat it? Yes I did and it was still delicious. Truly an ode to yet another fun night in fells. Not to mention the service is always friendly and fast. It's so convenient and it's right in the heart of the little square area. So it's always there if you need a little pick me up while hitting the bars or checking out some of the local shops, or even just sitting by the water and enjoying the weather. It's simple and it's yummy.

Hi everyone, just wanted to leave a review of German Gourmet on Columbia Pike…read more Before I begin, I want to identify what the ingredients are for a classic Reuben. You'll need two slices of seeded or marble rye bread, about six ounces of thinly sliced corned beef or pastrami, two slices of sharp Swiss cheese, roughly a quarter cup of well-drained sauerkraut, and two tablespoons of Russian or Thousand Island dressing. A little butter for toasting the bread and optional spicy brown mustard round it out. That said, what I actually received was the absolute worst Reuben I've ever had in my entire life. They used ham instead of corned beef or pastrami, an insult to the name. The Swiss was bland and low-quality, not sharp at all. There was no mustard, barely any Thousand Island, and I couldn't even detect any sauerkraut. The bread wasn't toasted, and they still charged me $12.50 with tax. If this is what passes for a Reuben at a supposed German delicatessen, save your money and go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

I asked her a few questions, as this was my first time there. The jalapeño pretzel looked tasty, so I settled on that, a hotdog pretzel, and a cheese dip. I paid about ten bucks, which was a pretty good deal. The hotdog pretzel was good! Next time, I'll grab some mustard for that one. The jalapeño pretzel was delicious. I did wish I bought it as soon as it came from the oven. It gave my jaw a bit of a workout, but I still enjoyed it! I was disappointed in the cheese cup, though. The cheese was absolutely, COMPLETELY COLD! Not room temperature, but straight from a refrigerator. I wasn't expecting that and it was a bit off putting, to be honest. In the end, the pretzels were delicious and the price was decent. I'll return again, but with my own cheese next time! Lol...

However, I was dissappointed that the "garlic" pretzel is just the regular pretzel enveloped in a deluge of hand-shaken McCormick granulated garlic. I did the house dry rub and old bay dry rub. The house dry rub, to be honest, was bland and flavorless. The old bay seasoning was very good. I wish the wings had come with more. For $15 you get 8 total wings. It didn't feel like great value. What is great value and tastes great are the Bavarian pretzels as well as the buffalo chicken dip. You truly can't go wrong with either one. They have a robust drink menu. They are lacking a cider on tap but it is what it is. While this might not be the most glowing review on its surface, Bronson's gets 5 stars for its atmosphere and ability to accommodate a wide range of food and drink desires. I watched two World Cup games here and it was a fun, electric atmosphere.

I was in the patio with friends, in the corner, not bothering anyone -- not fighting, not yelling, not approaching strangers. Security walked up, said there was "a complaint," refused to say who it was from, refused to say what it was about, refused to let me talk to the manager, and refused to even let me back inside to grab my own card. My friends asked him to stop. He ignored them. This is the second time their security has unfairly targeted me. The first time I had just stepped outside to take a phone call. The same guard ran after me and started accusing me of stealing -- but couldn't say what was supposedly stolen or who had complained, because nobody actually had. I told him my laptop and jacket were inside at the bar and that all the bartenders know me. He eventually apologized once it became obvious he had nothing. Same guy, same pattern, different night. Also worth knowing: my friend and I had just ordered around $100 in food and drinks at the end. Nothing finished. No refund offered, no apology, no manager. If management thinks letting one guard humiliate paying customers in front of their friends is good for business, here's your feedback. The hostess was friendly, bubbly and helpful with our menu choices. We started with the Pretzel bites with a cheese sauce and a mustard sauce for dipping. Little pillows with plenty of salt, a winner. No entree, we shared Onion Rings, Boneless chicken wings (Bbq sauce and garlic Parmesan sauce) and two sausages, bratwurst and knockwurst. Along with my wife ordering Kolsch on tap, we were in heaven. It brought us back to a trip we took to Germany. All delicious. I'm grateful that they put the sauerkraut on the side, it would make me sick. There are a lot of beers and ales on tap and many are authentic from Germany. I had ginger ale, shame on me. We'll be back for their weekend brunch! Recommended!
