Because of this, I asked him to leave for health and safety reasons. He did apologize. I want to be clear that the company itself handled my complaint extremely well. They were apologetic, took the situation seriously, credited my delivery, and promptly sent a second technician who was clean, professional, and respectful. This review reflects a poor hiring or screening decision--not the company's response, which was excellent. I appreciate how quickly they corrected the situation. Furthermore, the hospital bed served its purposes and was delivered within 2 days of ordering.

During our recent stay, his motorized scooter stopped working, and we found ourselves in a tough situation. Being far from home, it was imperative for him to maintain mobility, especially since we needed to have the scooter serviced. Unfortunately, it was impossible to have it serviced after 6 PM because the necessary part wasn't readily available and had to be ordered. When I called Medical House, Darrius answered and went above and beyond to assist us. He remained on the phone after closing hours to explain everything clearly regarding the rental of a motorized wheelchair scooter. Thanks to his help, we were able to work it out and pick up the motorized wheelchair we rented for a month at a very reasonable price. What truly sets Medical House apart is the genuine care they demonstrate. There was absolutely no pressure to make a purchase; it felt clear that they are dedicated to helping people rather than just making a sale. As a small business, their commitment to customer service is commendable, and I'm thrilled to support them. The app bills itself as download and go. Bass on my experiences so far, I'd like to rebrand it download and wow. You download the app, pay a onetime fee of $19 so they check your selfie/drivers license picture, and once you're approved, you're all set and can use the app to locate nearby scooters and reserve one up to 15 minutes in advance. I submitted my photo and was quickly approved. I hadn't driven a scooter before, so while watching some of their helpful intro videos, I saw that they offer a free lesson. Tried to book a lesson, but it was only for the NYC locations. I emailed their help team about it and on a Sunday afternoon, they replied in 15 minutes with the link to book a DC lesson. I went to my lesson tonight, and was blown away again by their customer-centric approach. Charlie was my instructor and he provided very thorough walkthroughs of how to use the bike, how to move around with the bike, turning corners, and sent me on well-supervised trips up and down the alley and around the block. I LOVE that they take the time to do this to make sure people are comfortable and safe on scooters. Seriously, it was at least 45 minutes, if not an hour, of one-on-one scooter tutorials. Charlie was very patient, didn't laugh out loud when I ran into a fence, and was super encouraging as I got more familiar with the moped and felt brave enough to accelerate above 6 MPH. I even got a ride credit at the end of my free lesson! Fun to drive and looking forward to exploring more of the city with Revel. Wish I'd taken a picture of their office and garage on Sheridan St., but maybe it's better that there's no photo evidence of my inaugural scooter ride. By the way, both the fence and I are ok.

When we arrived at the location, we found it was not the safest area to stay. I contacted the company right away and decided it best to cancel the reservation, due to lack of knowing where we were going to stay for the week. As soon as I got to the new hotel, I contacted them again via email and asked if they could drop it off at the new location in the morning. Unbeknownst to me, I woke up to a wheelchair already there, because they brought it in the middle of the night!! The communication process was fantastic, they responded as soon as I emailed them. Both th woman & gentleman I spoke to on the phone were pleasant, caring & informative. When we returned the wheelchair, they actually found that there were pamphlets and things in the wheelchair pocket that my parents had left, so they emailed me and said they would mail those things to me. I recently returned for a week's visit in DC and left my ebike there for a tune-up. Richard gave it a complete overhaul, replaced brake pads, tires and updated the monitor screen. I was on a specific travel schedule so they made my repairs a priority and gave excellent service. I'm also impressed by the personable connection both over the phone and in person, making me feel welcome and listening to my questions. I'm assured to get many more years of pleasure out of this gorgeous bike and it's been one of the best investments I've made. Living in the mountains, I am able to go to up another 2000' elevation with electric assist, and at my age that would be amazingly challenging without the electric bike.
