Very nice activity to do. I've been going to this town for years and never heard of these guys until i saw them on Yelp. They have a good amount of vehicles, the people are friendly, rates are good, and they take care of their vehicles.

The gettyped vehicle is so much fun to scoot around the battlefield. The owners are very, very nice people. We live nearby and we've been around the battlefield many times, but we never had so much fun doing it. I hope you like attention, because you will get noticed!

2 person 50cc 3 wheel "scooter". Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this! 50cc 3 wheel "scooter". It hit speeds of 45 mph, but was a bit rough. Most roads are 25 mph so that was fine. I am 6'4" and fit just fine. Probably 6'6" would be outer limits. Handlebar controls. Turn signal and horn. We spent 1 hour touring the battlegrounds with an app we downloaded for $6.99. Well worth it. Since we prefer walking, 1 hour was the perfect time. $50/hr or $89/2hr. I definitely recommend this place. Super nice and friendly. We were a couple of minutes late and no bother. We will come back here.

We had an outstanding tour at Gettysburg with Getty-peds today. They provide 2 person scooter cars that are very easy to drive, along with a guide in the front and back. The front guide (Josh) was very safety conscious, and made sure we didn't get seperated, and our rear guide (Truman) was a certified tour guide who provided a very informative talk at the multiple stops. We learned a lot on this tour, from how to get around the battlefield, as well as a lot of interesting facts and perspectives to think about. Give this tour a try, it was real great.

My husband and I took a guided GettyPeds tour of Gettysburg last week and had a blast! The little Peds were so much fun to drive around the battlefield and the guides were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Best way to see the sights for sure!

Renting two of these Scoot Coupes for two hours was the absolute best way to see the battlefield on our own.

I highly recommend DC Mobility; it is the best mobility scooter rental company I have ever worked…read morewith. Their rental prices are extremely reasonable. They also deliver and pick up, also for a very reasonable price. I have previously rented scooters in the DC area, Atlanta, Edison NJ , and Cleveland, so I have a very decent idea of what is out there. Nav and Anupam, the owners, have just started their business a month ago, and provide exemplary service and brand new scooters. Their prices are far better than other companies I have rented from this past year. So here's the background on my rental: I needed a mobility scooter for an event at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, and I called them after they had closed the night before. Nav called me back promptly on Friday morning, and we made arrangements for me to pick up my scooter that afternoon. Because I needed it just for one day on the weekend, and I own a trailer for my business, I picked up the scooter from them on Friday afternoon, and returned it on Saturday late afternoon. They were extremely accommodating, and wonderfully kind. I had a long is chat with Anupama on Saturday, when I returned the scooter. They have just opened their business because there was nothing in the immediate vicinity, and he wanted to help out people in the community. Terrific Scooters, lovely people, and wonderful service. What more could you ask for?

Pennsylvania is beautiful. We watched dozens of YouTube videos of what to see, eat and experience…read more The scooters look really fun. There are about 32 covered bridges in Lancaster. The scooter tour is a great way to take this adventure. Single scooters are $69 - $85. The scoot coupes (for two) is $179. There are weight limits on the scooters. You can rent a motorcycle but it seems impractical to keep taking your helmet off and having to balance each time you stop (plus you need a motorcycle license). Everyone gets out of their scooter at each stop. The tour is about two hours. Goggles or eye protection would help. You could also get chilly, depending when you visit. October was gorgeous. If you can get in and out of a single scooter, I suggest that and using the money you saved for a meal or souvenir. Plan ahead. Tours fill up.

We didn't even go on the tour and left on the scene, because he broke his knees. Then one month later, we received this payment of $164.34 on the credit card on file, which we were NOT aware of at all, they charged our credit card without any authorization. We called them, the lady picked up the phone, said the charge due to the damage of the scooter??? Excuse us!! It's the scooter that damaged our trip and broke my partner's knees. We should have pursued further for the medical bills!!! Be aware and stay away from fraudulent people, they would just scam you and charge you for something not related to you!

His belief is simple: we don't work with healthy people, we work with the sick and hurt and older people and we need to accommodate them. Opened 7 days a week and easy to get to. I rented mine directly from the shop on Edsall Rd., but if you plan ahead, they will deliver the scooter to you and they offer a 24/7 service to help with issues that arise. I did not have any issues, so I cannot directly confirm how that works. My family decided at the last minute that one of our adults would be better off with a mobility scooter because her health issues make any walking tour a strain. The first place I called did not answer and wanted me to leave a message. I didn't have time to wait around for a callback, so I kept trying. I feel so lucky that the second call I made was to JK Medical Supplies! They were so helpful and so nice and knowledgeable. They even gave us ideas about activities in the area that we could do. The scooter they rented to us is a Vive 3-wheel. They made sure that it was the right size for our needs and gave us a demo of how to operate and transport the scooter. The scooter was in excellent condition and it worked well for us. In addition to concrete scootering, we took it on a day hike trail in the Shenandoah Valley. We checked with the visitor center for scooter-friendly hikes. The trails there are smooth enough, but we had to turn around when we got to the uneven rocky area with the obvious horse (ahem) trail. As far as the scooter itself, I would say the 3-wheel is excellent for touring in D.C. and flat, civilized areas, but if you want more adventure with the rocks and the horses, you'll definitely want to ask them for a more rugged 4-wheel with higher clearance and more lateral stability. I spent some time talking to them about their business and they claim that they are often called by a hotel concierge to remedy a delivery issue from less reliable rental companies (I thought about that company that didn't even answer the phone). They sound very dedicated to customer service. I did not need anything above and beyond, like middle-of-the-night service or delivery, but I did see firsthand how customer-friendly they are. It is very hard to find good customer service, but JK Medical shines in that regard. They also claim to personally research each product the sell/rent. They have a lot more than scooters. Our family member had a big smile on her face and laughed at being able to leave the rest of us in the dust, for once. It was a big contrast to what we usually deal with: a grumpy, droopy, sad face. Thank you JK Medical for making our visit to Virginia and D.C. a lot less strenuous and a lot more fun for our family!
