I have followed dbakers on Instagram for a really long time because I am obsessed with watching baking/decorating videos as someone that is not skilled in that department. So, we were in Miami for a weekend, and I knew I had to stop by! The location is a bit off the grid, but once you see the colorful walls, you're in the right place. I'm not sure if there is designated parking, but there was some street parking adjacent to it that probably was metered, but we figured we would be okay to run in and out. Despite the electricity being out for their whole block, you could tell the team was doing what they could in a tough situation. They were calling customers to ask them to pick up any cold orders ASAP and still were smiling to us that just walked in to shop. We picked up some macarons, cupcakes, and a slice of cheesecake and everything was delicious! We even hopped on a plane the next day with the box of macarons in the suitcase and it survived the plane ride without issues! Prices are pretty standard for upscale bakeries and the quality was excellent. I am jealous of those in Miami that can visit regularly! read more

This is legit my favorite bakery! They never fail to deliver sweet excellence! Stopped in a couple of weeks ago to get some sweet treats for a virtual election watch party. I tried the giant Ferrero Rocher cream puff. I got the last one. OMG, it was sweet, delectable goodness! I can't think about how many calories it is but definitely a shareable treat. I also got a giant cookies-n-cream macaron with blueberry filling. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the blueberry but I loved it! It really balanced the other flavors. Stopped by here for dessert and never realized it was right next door to Lagniappe! Got the "Nutella Cheesecake Bruh" from the macaron bar. The cheesecake creme that filled the macaron didn't taste that appetizing to me and the Nutella was more of a syrupy consistency, probably so they can get the drip look. I also was really confused how to eat it. You can't really eat it like a sandwich and it was difficult to cut to take bites out of. I've been wanting to stop here for awhile and I finally got to stop by. Parking was a little tricky because the lot in the back is very narrow. I had already knew I wanted to get some macarons and I got a bunch of assorted flavors including cookies and cream, guava, salted caramel and some others. I also got a tres leches cake cup which looked amazing. The person helping me at the counter was very helpful and the shop was very clean and presentable. I would definitely stop by again. This local bake shop made me a happy customer. I put in a request for a quote on Sunday. They were able to get back to me with 48 hours and prepare a cake for the end of the week. The process was very easy. Within the quote you add a couple pictures of what you're looking for and they deliver. Beyond the expectation. The team is very specific with instructions upon arrival. They tell you whether to refrigerate the cake or if you can leave it out depending on the temperature. They also give you transportation instructions on where to put it in the car when you're driving. The shop itself is very cute. And I recommend you check out their Instagram feed. Called upon Yelp to find a well rated bakery for my niece's 18th birthday and dbakers came up 1st on my list. The order was placed within 24 hours and we were very happy with the results of this beautiful little cake. It had all the glitz and sparkle for our princess and let's not forget to mention that it tasted as good as it looked. Buttercream filling was delicious and the cake was pretty moist. Just be sure to let the cake sit out before serving as the buttercream stays firm in the fridge which effects the taste and texture some. It was my first time there and the first thing I noticed was all the unique flavors of macaroons. Oh gosh guys. I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel like I have to be honest. I visited this place because of the reviews, but I was really disappointed. I called, while in the parking lot, and I told them the situation w/the key lime pie (didn't even mention the other desserts because that's just a matter of taste preference, not their fault) but I asked if I could switch the key lime for ANYTHING else because it was really really uneatable. I mentioned maybe they had a bad batch & didn't notice, (it happens) I was trying to be understanding. but They said "sorry but we can do that, once you buy it that's it". I asked them to please ask their superior, they put me on hold and said they were told NO.
