I've been to so many bakeries all over the world that promise divine macaroons... this place seriously TOPS the list!!!! The texture is JUST the right balance of crisp and soft-chewy. When you bite into it, there's no audible crunch. Each macaroon has just the right amount of filling with just the right amount of sweet (none of the flavors use artificial flavoring so that could help with the balance in sweetness). We originally came in to buy some cupcakes, but left with cupcakes, macaroons and mini-cakes! If the pastry chef can get these macaroons oh-so-right, then I'm sure the other pastries are going to be delicious as well :) So sad I won't be able to visit on the regular as I live in LA, but you bet I will be back to grab a dozen more every time I'm in Miami!! read more

We got our Bday cake for my child's bday from DBakers. It was a very pleasant experience! The place is nice, location is good, the studio itself is cozy and very clean. The staff is professional and polite, they wear masks. Also have sanitizers and they follow social distancing rules. Parking is a bit complicated however if you are a client they would let you park right in front of the store (which was a great surprise and very helpful!) thank u for that!! Catalogs show all the cakes pics they have with an explanation. And u can see ready to go cakes on the display. And of course they will customize your cake and give u a professional advice if u have any doubts! Our cake was beautiful and very delicious! The package/box was very thought through. So u don't have to worry bcoz they got that covered lol u can transport and drive with a cake and it will not get ruined inside of the box. Wow!!! Macaroon heaven! Their individual macaroons are amazing! I tried the vanilla, Nutella, guava, and the espresso! All were ridiculously amazing! I remember eating them and thinking they must have been the best macaroons I've ever had! Hands down! Both flavor wise and texture! My bf and I also shared the "pastelito" macaroon from their macaroon bar! It's so cool! You can build your own macaroon with different stuffings and sauces! We weren't feeling super creative that day so we went with one of their already made combinations (the pastelito) which featured guava and merengue! I kid you not it was one of the best things I've ever eaten! I'm a guava lover and just obsessed with the flavor so for me this macaroon was incredible! The merengues they add we're so fresh and crunchy! I can still imagine them now! It was amazing! We tried the key lime pie and it was okay! Not bad but not my favorite thing. I wouldn't get it again but honestly they took my breath away with those macaroons so it doesn't even matter! Also! Last minute we decided to get their Nutella cream puff pasty! Although they had some beautiful mini cakes they only had nutella or vanilla cakes available. There's this texture too them that drives me to think they use either a high ratio of brown sugar or a liquid sweetener bc they're the moistest cookie I've had too date. We found this establishment via YELP. When calling, they were very kind and actually answered their phone - a lot of businesses are not doing this, believe it or not. We arrived to pick up a last minute cake and here is what we got. The cake was very pretty and nearly made as you can see. They also had cake toppers since we didn't not order in advance and could not get anything written on it. It cut nicely, but wasn't as sweet as I was expecting, but still a good cake.
