We went to listen to a couple of cover bands, the space is cool but the tables (literally) on the dance floor could be better placed. I almost took out someone's water pitcher! Overall, the seating is tricky if you try to make your way to-and-from the dance floor. Even being seated in a booth near the door, the sound was almost overbearing...maybe an adjustment is needed. While visiting Denver, we decided that the visit wouldn't be complete, unless we had a Denver brunch. After doing some research and reading reviews we choose Dazzle. I must say that it lived up to the name, it dazzled! The brunch was amazing! The hot food choices change from Sunday to Sunday. If by chance you come on a day that they are serving the buffalo and blue cheese pork shoulder, you're in for a real treat! Other treats include a made to order omelette bar, fruit loop donuts, chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and packaged candy. The staff was very welcoming and if you ask for Alex (Alexandra) she won't disappoint. They open at 9:30 and brunch ends at 1:30. Soft smooth jazz begins at 10:30. The brunch itself is 20$ and 10$ to add bottomless ANYTHING that can be made with well alcohol. If you get the opportunity to visit you won't be let down. read more

I'm torn on Dazzle. I really want to like it. And, I like parts of it. But, it doesn't really thrill me the way I want it to. I first tried Dazzle for happy hour with the lovely Nicole W. The drinks were tasty, and presented with a dance :) And, the happy hour nibbles were decently priced as well. Happy hour would be 4 stars, in my memory, but it's been a while. Most recently I met a group of Yeeps here for brunch. Sadly, brunch was highly disappointing and only 2 stars. I used to travel a lot on business and this brunch reminded me of what I would get at the Doubletree, even down to the omelette station. But, thank goodness for that omelette station, because my omelette was the best thing I had! There were quite a few food options, but none excited me. And, the flow was HORRIBLE. Way too crowded. The best part about brunch was the live music. If you want a morning concert, Dazzle is your place, but you can get much better breakfast foods elsewhere. read more

The Sunday brunch is wonderful! The mac and cheese is creamy and probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had at a restaurant. They have a crepe bar which is constantly changing; one week it might be strawberries and cream, and the next week might be caramel filled. Best Sunday brunch in Denver. Where else can you get all THREE flavors of Captain Crunch cereal and a vodka screwdriver? The brunch buffet is full of other delicious stuff-- custom crepes and omelettes, chorizo hash browns, waffles, fresh fruit, sausage, roast beef, gnochis, cereal, mimosas and BACON. You get the idea. The buffet also entitles you to the dessert bar, which features chocolate fondue, carrot cake, donuts and everything else that'll ruin any diet you're on. Total bill for each of us was around 20-25 bucks. All of this is against a backdrop of live jazz and down-tempo music. The acts don't seem to linger too long, though. Maybe two or three songs before taking a break; which allows you to carry on your conversations and enjoy your meal. Only downside is that this place is quite popular. If you're planning on going for a weekend brunch, you need to make reservations well in advance. It's nearly impossible to walk in on a Sunday morning and expect to be seated within the next two hours. Furthermore, if you make reservations and are more than 10 minutes late for your time, your spot is given up. If you plan accordingly, Dazzle will be a great time. read more

I like this place a lot more than I thought I would! Jazz isn't exactly my favorite genre by a long shot, but it's not just a jazz club. They have a separate room where most of the music is played during normal hours and then the main dining room is for people just wishing to get their grub and drink on. More pros: -Cheap happy hour specials on both drinks and meals -Tasty mac and cheese. -Waitstaff is super nice. My friend and I stayed there forever and a day, and although I could tell she was ready to turn the table over after 5 hours she was always super sweet and attentive to us. I've been to Dazzle on several occasions and I've always had an enjoyable experience. It is a cozy, intimate spot that doesn't have particularly comfortable seating; however, if the music (and a good cocktail) moves you, you soon forget about that. The music is what brings me here; however, the food is solid. I've sampled several dishes, from calamari to a turkey sandwich, and have not been disappointed. The lounge has a great vibe to it. I went here with a group for the Sunday brunch. My experience with the waitstaff was great. We were given a "tour" of the food lines (although it seems like the staff could move on to other projects if the food was simply labeled instead). At some point, it came up that I was a vegetarian, and my server was attentive in making sure I knew what was an option for me and that I was happy with what I could have. The music was great, although very loud, so during a performance the table didn't feel like talking much. The food itself was good. Not great, not amazing, but not bad either. It was good. Dazzle is a great environment. As both a musician playing there and a spectator watching music, I love the room. The food isn't amazing, but it's good and the desserts are great. It's small and dark, but it's a good feeling, more of a closeness with the musicians than a cramped setting. Although the bathrooms are small, they work fine for one or two people, so it's really not a big deal. There are two stages, one in the bar room and one in the main listening room. Dazzle also helps out CCJA, a non-profit organization for jazz students. Overall, Dazzle is a great place with a great atmosphere, and I love it and highly recommend it. read more

We hit up Dazzle after reading about the HH specials on yelp. The bar is very interesting. Kinda feels like being transported back to a casino in the 70's. The place was pretty packed at 5:30pm on a Wednesday but we didn't have to wait for a table. Lots of HH food to choose from for 5 bux. The cocktails were strong and cheap as well. Think they run around 4 bux. I felt sorry for our waitress, however, seems she was working the entire room, solo. I had the mac n cheese and my partner had calamari and the Caesar salad. The food was good for the price although we found the calamari to be sightly soggy. (Yo, it's real easy to mess up calamari. Can be a hit or miss dish). I've been following the move to downtown Denver since I first heard the news. The new place is marvelous. All of them did such an amazing job in transitioning from Lincoln to Curtis. I'm proud of all of them. 9 members of my family and I enjoyed the Grand Opening celebration with none other than the amazing Catherine Russell. WOW! The appetizers were unbelievably delicious. Our meals came out in record time and the steaks were cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the new selections at the bar - got my sweet tooth aching now. Just returned from Sunday brunch at Dazzle. I don't know if it's always that crowded, but it was way too crowded today. Our reservation was for 10:45 and the place was already above capacity - my opinion. The seating was uncomfortable because there were too many tables which were too close to one another. There was little room to walk. It was difficult to navigate around the space. All in all very uncomfortable. It was extremely hard to talk to anyone in the group due to the noise level in the place. There was a duo on stage who were playing soothing music, but it was hard to hear them over the din of all the noise from people talking. You were lucky if you could hear the person next to you. It was not an enjoyable time. The servers and bartender did well considering the sheer number of people they were dealing with. The service was reasonable considering the large number of people and small area to do their job, etc. I'd give the food a B or a B-. The hot dishes and omelet station were in 'our' part of the restaurant. The salads, beverages, cereal and desserts were in the bar area. The selection of all foods was appropriate for the price and size of the restaurant. I did not care for the roast beef because it tasted like it had been coated with liquid smoke flavoring. My seven dining companions all had some type of omelet. The omelets were their favorite items. My favorite item was the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Yum. I really liked the fact that the hot dishes were not greasy. I tried all of them except the egg dishes and the grits. (My friend from Louisiana said the grits were very good.) I also liked that the bottomless Mimosas could be made with several different types of juice. Fun. We had to go somewhere else after brunch so we could talk and catch up. If you care about the look of a restaurant, Dazzle has very little decor. All I noticed was that the walls are black. read more

The food is awesome, the bartenders are, in my opinion, the best in Denver, and if something is wrong with your visit, they'll find a way to make it up to you. This place has the best happy hour that I've seen yet in Denver. They bring the best live jazz talent to town and their brunch is the best brunch that I've ever had -- and I consider myself a brunch connoisseur! Make sure to check out the scene in advance, as it could be a bunch of people getting down-and-dirty to the blues, a high school big band orchestra, or even a progressive electronic jazz or folk group on stage that night. Me and my wife ate here for Sunday brunch the morning after our wedding. We had been here several times, and already loved it - but our experience this past Sunday took our admiration of Dazzle Jazz to a whole nother level. Donald Rossa, the owner, got us a reservation for 20 people, which is quite a feat considering the popularity. On top of that, we had last minute additions that created a need for 6 more seats. Donald accommodated this immediately, and it was perfect. The band was informed of our wedding, and gave us a dedicated song. After that song, the band declared that the entire set was dedicated to us, and had several toasts over the course of the morning. When brunch was over, Donald got us some gift certificates to come back for a show (we will be using them when we get back from the Maldives!) AND he graciously gave us 2 free Dazzle shirts! We couldn't have asked for a better ending to our wedding weekend, and Dazzle made it happen. You guys rock! read more

Dazzle is by far my favorite Denver hangout! The sunday brunch is to absolutely die for and the scene is just super cool. The brunch is a bit pricey, but the experience is well worth it! The night scene is also pretty cool, good food, and to die for martini's! The waitress will give you a nice little martini shake dance :). The service is always fantastic, and tonight was no exception. More so, the food was great. * Risotto balls - WHAAAT? A deep fried ball of very moist risotto with corn, chives, and a bit of spice. Crazy good. My friend ordered a second helping. * Mac and cheese - Very yummy! Four kinds of cheeses, one of them smoked. And it comes with a nice crunchy topping. The food was excellent especially the monkey bread which came straight from the oven to our table. Not only was the food excellent but the service was awesome.
