First off. Larry is a great guy. Very friendly. A true gentleman this is in no way a review about…read morehis character. It is a review based on his services and communication. I hired Larry to install two TV's one with a solution which he recommended, and One a standard mount to the wall. I did have multiple communication issues with Larry where he agreed to a certain day and time, then forgot which day he agreed to. This wasn't a huge inconvenience as he was able to re-accommodate the original date. I had originally asked him if I could pay by credit card, and he stated it shouldn't be a problem. Then in the end it became a problem. All of this is just an inconvenience. But I guess I'm an old fashioned kinda guy. I always go by what people communicate to me. If you don't live by your word, what good is your word you know? The main issue was he stated it would take six hours and it took multiple days. What ended up happening in the end is that he was expecting that I would pay for them to learn about the solution he had recommended. I informed him I was paying for his experience and if he had none in this particular solution then he should not have recommended said solution. If I asked him to do something custom I would gladly pay the overages. But again this was his recommendation and he had never mounted this type of mount that he himself recommended. The customer should not be forced to pay for training time. Otherwise the customer could have taken that same time to do it themselves. Larry was supposed to come back on Saturday to finish the rest of the work as they couldn't complete it in the same day and he couldn't make it, we were waiting for him then texted me to say he would come on Sunday, "since the day had gotten away from him". He did come on Sunday and finished up. At the end the work they did was fine. Everything is functioning as it should and it looks good. If the communication, and time for install were better this would have been a five star review. All in all I don't think I'll be using his services again. There are other options that are less expensive which provide the same quality of workmanship. I've actually used them at home and at my company before. But I thought I'd give Larry a try...it was unfortunate that I was disappointed.

I had the pleasure to have Larry Goodloe of Smarthome-office Inc installed my HD CCTV security…read moresurveillance camera at my home recently. All I can say here is a business with integrity and professionalism! I contacted Smarthome-Office Inc after performing some extensive research on the web and calling all the different security camera resellers/installers and was not very impress with the extremely high quotes and reviews. I contacted a Yelp 5 stars TV-Installer.com John Maino who recommended Smarthome-Office Inc to me. As I trust John with his recommendation, I made an appointment with Larry. Long story short, Larry went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care off, educated me on security cameras and the difference between consumer products vs industrial business CCTV products. He recommended a Flir security HD camera system to me which I thought I was not able to afford only to find out with Larry dealer pricing, he was able to match a retail Swann security camera package with a Flir HD security camera package which is like buying a Mercedes and paying a VW price for it. The Flir system is so great, excellent pictures at night without lights and it sends me a text when the motion sensor detect movement at my front door, so whey UPS or FedEx drop off a package, it will send me a picture of the delivery person with my package. How cool is that? Larry told me his distributor had the Flir security camera system in stock only to find out the day he went to pick it up, they were sold out! So here we go I thought a few weeks of waiting, but NO, Larry found one 3 hours away and he drove there to pick it up and no extra cost to me. Larry spend 3 days at my house and only bid for one day, he told me he will cap the labor charge time off at the 10 hours he quoted but I was so happy with his work that I paid him double which is still less than the cost for the other CCTV dealers quoted. So Larry was happy and so was I. I had a lot of experience with contractors and all I can say is Larry was as good as they get, he was on time, very clean and meticulous with his work! This business is so good that I made it a point to tell all my friends and family to use this company if they need a CCTV system. My CCTV already helped me as we had a breaking & Entering on my block, first one we had since I been here for 16 years and I believe I caught the guys on video. With our police being stretch and cities not responding to alarm calls, I would highly recommend for you to step up and protect yourself with a CCTV as it is a great deterrent for these amateur criminals as they rather pick a house that is not protected by CCTV. Give Larry a call, he will sit down and let you know your options for CCTV cameras. Thanks again Larry, wish I can do more than giving you a great review for you and your company By the way, looked into Comcast home security, they don't keep the recordings so if you are on vacation and someone breaks into your home, to bad!.

Emails with product information were incorrect and took multiple attempts to get accurate information. They called me back a couple times on the wrong phone number. Reason I didn't answer - it's not my phone number. My correct phone number was right on the receipt! It started when they called me to pick up my TV and was told upon arrival that it wasn't there. There's an hour in my life I don't get back. No one picks up the phone there - not in sales and not in service. No way to leave a message and the phone goes on eternal ring. More time sucking. Emails and phone calls go unanswered and take several days to receive responses. They'll probably say they'll call you at 10, but instead call you at noon. The sale has already been made, and it's very clear you are no longer their priority, nor do they care about your time, their personal reputation, or their company's reputation. Turn'em and burn'em. They don't stand behind the products they sell. Did they once even hint at apologizing for anything that transpired - nope! They attempted to make a profit off of my warranty issue by selling me a second full-rate installation. I had already paid someone to install the defective TV, now I've got to pay them, with profit? At least give me a discount. If you want expert advice, this is a great choice. But, after you get the advice, go somewhere else to buy what you want at a place with decent post-sale service.

First they brought me the wrong TV . It was a 4k tv not an 8k and these guys swore that it was the correct TV but I stuck to my guns and kept telling them I bought an 8k tv. At the end I was correct and these clowns had to take the tv back and bring me the correct tv ( it's a $2,000 difference in price from 4k to 8k tv). So they needed to go all the way to the third floor of my house and do 2x's the work since they don't know how to read tv boxes which clearly show 8k & 4k in huge letters. Btw this was all during covid and I told them I didn't want to much traffic going through my home . Well that didn't happen as they needed 4 ppl to install one tv. Then the install was horrible as they drilled extra holes in my wall (they did not measure correctly the first time) & they damaged my furniture when they dropped a drill on it ( my furniture was very expensive). Now I'm going through technical issues as the soundbar is having issues with the TV when using arc. They did come fix it but now they need to come hide another wire behind the wall . The remote that I paid about $500 for with custom programming works when it wants to . I don't know what else to do do I called a customer service phone number to complain only to be told that the magnolia brand will be going out of business. Like wtf . Now I'm gonna be stuck with shitty tv soundbar & remote that are not compatible with each other????? My wife is so upset and she constantly reminds me of the terrible time she is having with the remote. I bought a system from magnolia 15 years ago and that system works better than this new one but it was almost $20,000 and is installed in my theater room . My three other system which are in my living room and two kids bedrooms also work better and were purchased at Best Buy. Those are Sonos, Bose and LG sound with LG and Samsung tvs . As of now I hate this place. Message me if you would like pictures and videos as I have documented everything and will be speaking to my lawyer if this does not get fixed asap.
