I had the most amazing sales lady help me find the perfect dress... her name is Teresa the Spokane David's Bridal store... I cant say enough about her and how everyone should experience her expertise on how to put a dress on and make you feel like the most beautiful woman there. I told her from the get what I was looking for and she picked out a handful what she thought I might like... she did however pick one that I wasn't even looking for. But it was the one that I Said Yes to the Dress. She grabbed that bell pulled me towards her and gave me the most beautiful talk and wished me the very best and what a beautiful bride I would be. I hugged her tight and told her thank you. Absolute terrible service! The service that my daughter received while choosing her gown was excellent.However, when they gave it to me to pick up it was a one foot by one foot folded square in a shopping bag, looking like it came from Temu.. I asked both the corporate customer service and the store manager to rectify the situation as a two thousand dollar wedding gown should come pressed, ready to put on the bride (to see if it needs alterations) and then also put in a garment bag. Hannah,the store manager, "educated me" and told me that this was not a service that was offered when the item came to the store from the warehouse and a garment bag not originally purchased. This was not explained to us at time of puchase. My daughter serves in our US military and was not available at the time for pickup, which is why I picked it up instead, and this is how they gave it to me. Completely unacceptable. If the bride would have come to pick it up, Hannah states they would have pressed it, put it on her to check for alterations, and then sent gown home in a garment bag for an additional seven dollars. I asked for this to be made available when my daughter would be in town and she then told me that would cost me a $125! What??!! Ridiculous! For a company that supposedly prides itself on excellent service, this is not what I have received. 0 stars. 100% do NOT recommend purchasing from this company. read more

Went to buy a dress marked 20% off on the tag and the person checking out said that sale was no longer going on a didn't switch tags out and charged full price. Extremely Disappointed with My Experience - Mismatched Dress and Poor Treatment I had a very disappointing experience at David's Bridal. I bought a dress in-store, which had to be ordered in. I paid $20 for shipping, and when the dress finally arrived, it was not the same dress I had tried on in the store. When I brought this to their attention, Holly, the associate I spoke with, was incredibly rude and condescending. She demanded proof that it was a different dress--which I couldn't provide, of course, because I didn't expect to need to photograph a dress I had tried on in their store. Her tone and attitude were manipulative and dismissive, and the whole interaction felt like I was being talked down to. Eventually, she said she'd refund the dress but not the $20 shipping, which is frustrating considering I never received what I actually ordered. She also insisted the store manager (who had only rung me up and never saw the dress on me) would "definitely remember me" and the dress--something that felt oddly scripted and deflective. When I asked to see the original dress I had tried on for comparison, I was told it was conveniently no longer there and was "out for repairs." The manager did call the next day and was somewhat nicer than Holly, but still very defensive. Overall, the whole experience felt dishonest, dismissive, and left me feeling incredibly frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Recently I went in to David's Bridal in the Spokane Valley on Indiana Ave. I have shopped there before for mother of the bride style dresses and a gown for a formal ball. That was over 8 years ago. My shopping experience then was very good- friendly service, welcoming staff... But, This recent visit on August 7, 2025 was a totally different experience. When I walked in not a sales person was in site. The store was empty of customers. I walked around and browsed through some of the gowns. I noticed the staff were all at the counter- chatting. Not one of them greeted me or even smiled to acknowledge they saw me. I continued to look through racks of gowns for a formal event I will be attending. Still after about 10 to 15 minutes of browsing not one young woman working there asked me if I needed help. I'm in my 60's, so maybe they didn't think I belonged there??? I left and went Nordstrom in downtown Spokane where I was greeted and helped in the dressing room. I will not return to David's Bridal in Spokane Vallley. read more

I was extremely satisfied with the service my wife received here. The staff went way out of their way to get the only dress that was in the country delivered to us in a short amount time. We had exchanged the dress for different size prior and ended up needing a different one. There was only one left in the entire country and the staff made sure that we got it in less than a week. We purchased the wedding dress a few months ago. Today we had an appointment to see the dress again, show it to a few family members, and discuss any needed alterations. They were busy but adequately staffed with (50 +/-) fitting rooms and many pedestals in addition to the. "Stages". When we selected and purchased the (expen$ive) dress, we had been treated very well. No sofas, music, or glasses of wine here, though. This is not our first rodeo as we have had several weddings in the last couple of years - and more upcoming. A little different story today. As I said, we had an appointment but apparently new sales are much more important than service. We waited about 1/2 hour then the bride was put in a tiny mirrored room which accommodated just her and the alterations lady. And it took a long time. The rest of the family (sister, Dad, aunt, and Grandmother) had been told we couldn't block the hallway and could sit in a corner in the main showroom. It actually wasn't a seating area but we were able to find 2 chairs to sit on. And I stress *we* found the chairs. We were there for 3 hours. There was a stage about 10 feet away and it was only used a couple of times so availability wasn't an issue. Not one person asked if they could help us. Pretty disappointing. read more

Went to look for bridesmaids dresses, ended up being a quick and unsuccessful shopping trip. Friendly staff but for the amount of ladies conversing and standing around, unsure why we had to continuously track down our person for sizes and swatches. Asked for swatches twice, was told we could take up to 3 with us to use for color matching and never got them. Decided to not ask a 3rd time. I dressed my bridesmaid and fetched alternative sizes for her myself. It wasn't as a relaxing, exciting moment we expected for this milestone. Disappointed but very cute items in there, just seems like there's 1-2 ladies working full max and the rest just having girl time up front which makes customers wait. read more

Our stylist Britni was nice but less than helpful. She didn't take more than 1 minute to get to know the brides style and tastes before she was asking about budget and rushing off to pull dresses. She kept leaving the dressing room door open while our bride was changing, literally giving her zero privacy and no "reveal" moment for the dress she was trying on. Our bride is very modest so this was a big turn off. We also were not being listened to when it came to the bride's preferences and desires. Each dress seemed a little further from "the one." While some of our party was at the front of the store getting ready to leave our stylist reported to the front desk "my bride just left and did not buy" with a eye roll and a comment of "she liked something somewhere else." There was not enough chairs for our party to accommodate even half of us, and no one likes to be "sold." The low prices of the dresses was on repeat with our stylist Britni felt a little redundant and tacky. One of the dresses our bride tried on was ripped and the response to this was "oh that could be removed, that's probably why it's on clearance." As soon as our bride made it clear she was done trying dresses our stylist handed our bride a card pushing for a review and said to our party "every review counts so hook it up." I would not have any one I know go here no matter the budget. So many brides wait so long for this day no need to settle for this kind of service and treatment. read more

I don't recommend them at all. We purchased several dresses online from the David's bridal website and made an appointment to try them in the store. Dresses were ordered online because the store does not carry the size the bride needs and time was very short. The bridal consultant refused to help the bride put on dresses. Literally put her in the room with a dress and left her. Thankfully, her mother (me!) was able to help. This meant that we were stripped of the experience of seeing the dress on when she walked out of the dressing room. We asked the consultant to look for other dresses that would be available to purchase off the rack. The consultant admitted that she "didn't look very hard." A member of the bridal party found 2 options in a matter of moments. The dress we chose was supposed to be steamed in the store. They refused to do that. They refused to provide a dress bag. They refused to provide a bridal gift bag. These are things done for diamond members, which the bride is, but apparently not good enough because she purchased online. David's bridal is the wrong choice if you want to feel like a pampered, beautiful bride. Whole-heartedly do not recommend. Shop on Craigslist or fb marketplace. You'll have a better experience in the homes of random strangers. read more

I found the dress of my dreams and still stayed in budget. Cricket was my fairy godmother, and altered my dress exactly as I imagined. The staff was super helpful and nice. I loved that this shop gave a lot more freedom to just look around and try on as many dresses as you want but not being pushy at all. I arrived to my appointment for a wedding dress fitting and the women at the front desk were extremely unprofessional, snooty, and rude. My mother and I were putting our masks on as we were walking in, we both have severe asthma, and they refused to help us unless we put one of their masks from a box. We asked why our masks weren't enough and they said that since they are not an essential business, we could follow their rules or leave. These "rules" were never mentioned when we called to make the appointment, which would have been much more transparent and professional. I had to take time off for the appointment and it was a waste. My wedding planner has stated that she will not be bringing anymore clients here. read more

Karen was helpful, real (not pushy or sales-y at all) and genuinely kind and fun. This was not the store for me, but I can see how it is perfect for others. My wedding dress shopping experiences had been at all the boutique shops in town before finally coming to David's. I feel that the hands on service at the boutique shops sets them apart completely. If you are no nonsense, have tons of friends/family to help you, want one stop shopping, and know exactly what you want, David's just might be perfect for you. My case was different. I understand that I can be viewed as difficult, but not Bridezilla. I find most lace and beadwork to be itchy, and I have sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I also like the look of lace and will give it a chance just in case. This frustrated my consultant greatly. Having gone to another boutique shop earlier that day, I was also more confident about how to modify dresses to meet my needs. My visions were outside the norm seen and offered at David's, and my consultant did not seem to understand this. My two best friends advocated for me on multiple occasions on what my likes and dislikes are, yet I still do not feel they were heard or appreciated, and at one point I was told that my wants were simply "not going to ever be found on a dress". I found my dress with no need for customization what so ever, but admit that it was not bought here. I did appreciate the variety in my size as a plus sized bride. This can be very intimidating, and going somewhere that had so much in my size was refreshing. I just feel that my voice was not heard, my needs and desires were not acknowledged, and maybe my consultant and I just didn't click as we had different visions for me. David's is great for the one stop shop, but I prefer a more intimate and private bridal shop experience. read more

Veteran's Day and zero discount. Felt like my brothers returning from 'Nam; total crickets. Where's Bob Hope when you need him? I had planned on being a consistent customer, buying several dresses for the many, MANY events I go to, but I think I'll stick with just the one, finish my business here, and never use them again. Despite being immune and/or proof of antibodies, or any proof of vax if you volunteer the info, you still have to wear a mask. I was here in 2011 for my wedding dress. Wanted to try them again since they seemed nice. They are, superficially. Perhaps I was drunk on happiness among the other brides and now that I see this place beyond the veil, I know better than to spend my near-bottomless wallet here. After getting my alterations, pick-up day was empty, so you'd think an empty store meant we'd be their #1 customer through final process before I walk out the door with the dress. We shouted goodbye as we were leaving and no one was there, not even a chase to wave at us cuz they might've been busy. They got their money, so why bother anymore, right? I don't expect people to gravel, but if I'm dropping $$$ show some courtesy. It was your tax payer dollars at work to get me into your store in the first place. Terrible service. Pointless to even set up an appointment. Got to try on the dresses after 25 minutes waiting after my set appointment time. When I finally got into a fitting room, the staff never told me that they were coming back to help me or to reach out to them if I needed anything. I waited for 10 minutes and no one ever came back so I stepped outside with the dress I tried on since I needed help zipping it up. A number of workers there walked past by me, made eye contact but never offered help. It was kind of degrading, as if they didn't think I was going to buy the dress or something. I finally called someone over to check me out since I did like the dress (it was meh, but at that time I was so over it and just wanted to get out of there). I have never been so angry with a store before and it was overall such a stressful situation. It felt so impersonal and in the 15 minutes I was fitting, about two sentences were said to me. There was one girl at the counter who was really sweet and chatty though! She's the only reason this place even gets a 1 star from me. I wish I remembered her name as she seemed really genuine unlike the others who just looked like they hated being there. Just a tip, I understand you can get busy, but please let your customers know what is going on and give the assurance that they will be helped as soon as possible so we're not just standing there wondering what to do next. Jamee (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was my stylist for a last minute appointment last weekend. I had been to two previous places and my experience at the second place before coming here was not great. I have to first apologize to Jamee because without realizing it until later, I had given her the impossible task of finding a dress that outmatched a previous dress I had tried that day and wound up being my dress. Jamee was energetic, very helpful and a breath of fresh air after my previous appointment. I wanted to make sure Jamee is recognized for her hard work and love for helping customers and would highly recommend working with her. I have a wedding in June 2020 and took my bridesmaids to try on dresses in December of 2019 and we decided on the color and the four of them were measured and fitted for the style dress they liked best. Once they knew the size they were measured for the lady that was sizing them took three of my bridesmaids dresses down a size from their measurement. 7 months before the wedding and she was dropping their sizes and telling them since their dresses would be new they would be tighter. Re assuring us all that these sizes would fit (also saying she had 7 years experience) we ordered and when they came in one could not even zip half way up and they all needed alterations, but when they tried on the right size in the store they all fit perfect. Do not trust the workers helping you at Davids Bridal go with what feels best for you and save yourself the grief of scheduling alteration three month before your wedding! {Update: I was contacted by David's Bridal during COVID-19 and was they did their best to make sure we had the materials we needed to alter the dress and we were also given a discount of the dress. After a long day of Prom dress shopping, we ended up at David's Bridal. The smaller boutiques in town were extremely crowded, expensive, and their consultants were not at all attentive. We had almost given up, until we met Izzy at David's Bridal in Spokane. She was attentive, listened to the tired teenagers, thoughtful, honest and caring. She worked hard to encourage the girls about how great they looked and helped them find styles they wanted. This was such a horrible experience- save your money. Their customer service was HORRIBLE! When I first found the dress I wanted they didn't have my size and the soonest they could get it would be 1 month later (too late for the event). Looked online while at the store and saw if I ordered it online it would be there within 10 days and was $50 cheaper. I told the employee helping me that and magically they could do the same thing for me. She did not take my measurements and told me by the extra material she knew what size to order, even though I questioned if it should be another size. She said no, she knew the size I needed and placed the order. I went back to get the dress and it was too small. The alterations lady was trying to figure out how we could take the dress out but said I might need to find matching fabric from Joanne's for them to add it on. Asked why I couldn't just have the first dress I tried that was too big and they could alter that instead. Luckily we were able to do that and she pinned it up for the alterations. Then she told me there would be a rush alteration fee of $60 to get the dress done in time (remember this was the same exact dress I tried on 2 weeks prior-if the sales rep would have thought about it, no rush would have been needed!) Thankfully the alterations employee waived the rush fee but to have the size 12 dress altered enough to fit me it was $140 more than the $300 I already paid for the dress. If the first sales rep would have taken my measurements and ordered the right size, even after my suggestion, I most likely wouldn't have even needed alterations. When I went back and picked up my dress I asked to talk to the manager to let her know about the unfortunate experience from beginning to end and the extra money I was charged because of it. The manager, Alex, looked at me expressionless and said 'okay' and asked who helped me. I told her I didn't know the name but it would be in her system. She just stared at me and asked what I wanted her to do about it. So I told her I would be going above her as this was a horrible experience and I ended up having to pay extra for it. Her response was 'I'll give you the number to contact for that' and handed me a card. I was so surprised- not even a 'I'm sorry' 'we will work on training our sales reps on that' nothing. I don't think I have ever experienced such poor customer service from any business and would have never expected it from a dress shop I spent so much money at. Find ANY other dress shop you can to save yourself from this mess, it's not worth it. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever. I don't fashion myself as a bridezilla but I was close to losing it. I made an appointment, which they did not keep. After waiting around for a half an hour in the uncomfortably warm and over crowded store, I was finally paired with a consultant. After giving me a "tour" of every inch of the store, we finally began to pick out dresses. I say absolutely no strapless gowns yet all they choose is strapless. I pick dresses and she wouldn't even see if it's available in my size. Her attitude was as flat as my excitement for my options. After picked about 5 dresses, I go to try them on. The rooms were tiny and bleak. She would place you in a dress and then leave to check on other clients. Oftentimes I waited up to 10 mins in dresses I HATED and felt terrible in. Even when I would tell her this isn't it or whatever, she would still wander off. I never felt special for one minute. My poor mom and sister are left to view the dresses in between people walking by in ghetto folding chairs. Shortly into the fitting, men's warehouse is there trying to whore out their tux rentals. Just not one bit was special or exciting. I would would not recommend anyone to even visit the store, let alone buy one of their ugly, overpriced gowns. Just run! read more

From start to finish all they earned was one star. My sister is getting married and wanted the dress from here since all the bridesmaids are in different states. When I went in on a Wednesday I was assigned a girl and she asked what size pants I wore, I told her a 5 or 6. She brought me dress sizes 8, 10, and 12. The 8 was a bag on me, and I ended up being a size 4. When I was trying dresses on neither the girl assigned to me nor any of the other 4 associates who were working ever came to help zip me up or grab other dress sizes or styles. My aunt ended up doing all of the leg work. When we found the dress my sister liked the sales lady said unless I ordered that day, we couldn't get it. I agree with other reviews that it's like a used car lot, they will try and push you to buy then and there. Needless to say I didn't order that day. Come back on a Saturday to actually order the dress and that day actually went smoothly, in and out in 10 minutes. Today I called to see if my dress had come in because it was supposed to arrive yesterday, and I hadn't received a call and the girl on the phone said "oh it arrived a while ago, how weird that we didn't call you."...Yeah. Once you've tried the small privately owned boutiques in town David's Bridal can seem like a bit of a let down. That said, if you're looking for a sale and low-cost dress then this might be the place to check out. The selection is decent and all the staff seemed really friendly and helpful. I went to help my sister try on prom dresses and they had a nice range of colors and styles but nothing that really stood out for us. No one was pushy or demanding so we didn't feel pressured to buy--which is a BIG plus for me. David's Bridal is the right destination for some and their pricing is definitely easier on the wallet than other places in town. read more

David's was my first stop in my quest for my wedding dress. I made an appointment for 3.30 on a Sunday, and showed up at 3.20 with my mother and 2 bridesmaids in tow. I checked in and they let me know we could browse and my consultant would be with me shortly. I barely saw my consultant until well after 3.30, and I didn't even get into a fitting room until a few minutes after 4. By this point my group wanted to leave, but I was excited to try on dresses. Finally, I got in my first wedding gown. Then I stood there forever waiting to take it off while my consultant helped 3-4 other brides. This happened with every gown I tried on. My consultant, Hannah, was a wonderful girl, but clearly overworked. I found a dress I thought was "the one," and it was on sale for $450. I wanted to sleep on it so I scheduled a follow-up appointment. My bmaids were aghast at the awful service and insisted I at least try Marcella's Bridal before settling on a dress. I was willing to sacrifice service for a deal on a dress, until... I went to Marcella's. My consultant was attentive, and only focused on me. After more trial and error, I truly found my dream dress...and it was only $100 more than the David's dress, and a far superior quality. I truly felt like they cared about me. David's website warned me that my consultant would be helping one other bride during my appointment, but poor Hannah was doing at least double that. After I had such a wonderful experience at Marcella's I emailed David's letting them know of my concerns, but never heard back. The bottom line: David's only cares about how much they make, not about their brides. I have talked to a lot of girls who've gotten engaged after me and I warn them all to stay far, far away. read more

Too bad I can't give 0 out of 5 stars. I made an appointment to find a dress for my wedding, when I got there they made me wait 20 minutes to even get started, making me wander around aimlessly. When they finally did come to help me try dresses on the employees were rude. They would put me in a dress and leave me standing there with my bridal party for 15 minutes at a time. I was there for an hour and a half and tried on a whopping THREE dresses because this atrocious excuse for a store's employees would wander off and help other people because they clearly overbooked. They made my family and friends sit on the floor instead of giving them chairs. I had explained to the workers that I had looked at a couple different stores to find the perfect dress and wanted to keep my options open. I knew the style I liked and would show them pictures. The employee had the nerve to say "then why don't you just go buy that other dress from the other store?" Um, maybe because if I'm going to drop over a grand I would like to explore my options first? Thank you for giving me a solid reason for never buying anything from your store. It works more like a factory than something that is based on customer services. They focus on quantity rather than quality of service. The system they have in place is awful. I looked forward to planning my wedding and buying my dream dress, instead I left in tears and felt so stupid and neglected. Way to go David's Bridal; keep up the horrible work! read more

I had been to a few boutiques with no luck in finding a dress. I was a little disheartened by the boutiques; nothing they pulled was what I described, the dresses were huge and I was ready to settle. I went to David's bridal as a last effort - the staff was incredible! I called and made an appointment, the staff was very welcoming when we arrived. I told the consultant what I wanted she picked 5 dresses in my actual size; any of those 5 could have been "the dress" I felt like a bride-to-be!! They were very accommodating to the 2 hour travel we have to get to Spokane. I was very very happy with my David's Bridal experience!! 5 STARS! read more

Overall experience: Train wreck of emotions and bad communication between the employees. Day 1: The bride, myself and 2 other bridesmaids go in full of excitement. Our consultant was very nice and we had a great time trying on dresses. We find the ones we love and head to the check out. Come to find my dress is the only style that does not come in our chosen color, Ballet. They had never run into this problem before. They are apologetic. So we make an appointment for the following week for try #2. Day 2: We are paired with a different consultant who is on day 4 of her new job. We explicitly tell her on 3 different occasions NOT to bring us ANYTHING that does not come in our chosen color as we don't want a repeat. We struggle to find one but I ended up falling in love with a second dress. Come to find out that one doesn't come in the color either. At this point, the store is closing and we race back to find me a THIRD dress. I found another one I liked and after talking to the manager (who was very rude to my friends at first), I demand some kind of compensation. We agreed on a small discount. At checkout, guess what... the dress wouldn't be here in time. The manager tried to go through the designer but I ended up going with my fourth choice. After reading some of these reviews, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't call me when it gets in and it's wrinkled. Davids Bridal was my first stop and I like that they carry a lot of dresses in bigger sample sizes. I went during a Thursday (which I HIGHLY suggest to do) and my consultant was very helpful. She was also helping one other bride next to me, but it didn't bother me, just gave me more time to check out the dress I was trying on. The dress I actually ended up loving and buying was one that my consultant picked out for me. I had never thought of trying it on. It was a very reasonable price and I bought it during a sale which also got me a great price on my veil and preservation. The manager (I think her name was Joilee) was very, very helpful and nice. When I got it altered, they had messed up on the bussle a little, making it too long. The lady in alterations (long silver hair, forgot her name sadly) was very, very nice and was able to fix it within a day. She also cleaned and steamed my dress again right before my wedding so it looked nice. For a "big store" experience, I honestly had a pretty easy time. For any brides looking into trying out Davids Bridal, come during the week if you can, since they are far less busy and bring smaller groups. They can fit larger groups, but I thought smaller groups are better anyways. Fewer cooks in the kitchen and less opinions you have to fight with. read more

Tiana was so helpful tonight while we were looking for a bridesmaid's dress. We got super kind and attentive service. David's Bridal can be limited with options if you don't come in with enough time to ship the right color in. Luckily I knew this beforehand, so with a little bit of an open mind and a lot of help from Tiana, we were able to find a beautiful dress for my bridesmaid. This bridal store just isn't as high quality as other ones that I have been involved in. I paid almsot $200 for a bridesmaid dress that the wiring and boning struck through by the end of the ceremony. I was marked up the next day and the refund/complaint process took almost a month. Not happy with the results and I received a fraction of my money back on a dress I didn't want to buy that is still hanging in my closet. read more

I worked with Alisha and she was so helpful! She understood the styles I was looking for and made sure to bring me dresses in my price range. She helped find shoes for me to wear similar to what I wanted on the big day. She was so real, and honest and it was like having my friend with me giving me good opinions and feedback about the dresses. Even though it was busy, and I was by myself, she did an excellent job making me feel like the center of her attention. I ended up not getting my dress at David's, because I found one elsewhere, but if there would have been a similar style at David's in my price range, I would have bought it there and made sure to buy it from Alisha.
